[shadow=red,left,300]WE HAVE A FORUM![/shadow] Because the rsuchu are now making appearances on three separate boards (Orchard, Gaia, and Pony Island), I thought it would be nice to make a separate board for them to coordinate things =) I will still be doing free give-aways exclusively which won't be announced for the other locations, but the board should come in handy for thing s like keeping track of information too lengthy for fitting in this thread (including the owner's list) and meeting up with PI/Gaia runi to form breeding rings =) There is also a pruni (pixel runi) give-away going on in the Events & Availability forum, and everyone who submits a form will receive one =) You can find the new forums here!
RL Commissions: I'm just about finished with my last round of commissions, so I'm opening them up again Rsuchu paid commissions are all done in marker and, imo, look exceptionally awesome ;D
Prices are as follows, and I can accept paypal or money orders:
$3 for a full-custom familiar $8 for a random (sample) $10 for a basic custom with minor mutations (sample) $12 for a winged custom with moderate mutations (sample) $18 for really intense things (armor, ridiculous patterns/colors, full body scales/feathers etc) $20 for a 2-offspring breeding with generic foal stages
Ring formation information can be found here! Rings can be posted in website format, or in forum format if you're short on time.
Certs are also available! I know that certing is more of a Gaia thing, but if you would like a cert for your rsuchu, they are available with a variety of backgrounds (at no cost, of course) right over here. If you don't have a gaia account to post with, just post the same info in this thread and I'll get it done up for you n_n
~ ~ ~ I've brought the rsuchu back as a forum-based adoptable who's main hub is located in this gaia thread~ don't feel obligated to join, etc! I'll be alternating back and forth between here and there, and all of the same things will be offed here for you guys adoption-style, and I won't be giving the Orchard's name out for anyone on gaia =3 For the sake of simplicity, I won't be making two identicle threads, so this will be a watered-down version of the Gaia site. Again, you don't need to be a member to see the thread or guild, so please feel free to check it out if you have any questions, or would like to consult the owners/ring lists! Rsuchu Unicorns ('Runis') are colorful, agile creatures that live in groups called "Rings." Their naming pattern is "****'s **** ****", for example, Dawn's Crimson Blood or Boulder's Mossy Face. At their most basic form, they are equine in appearance, but are prone to mutations including but not limited to different types of horns, hooves/feet, tails, hair lengths, and wings of all sorts. They usually give birth to two foals at a time. I have kept them relatively true to their original form in both style and simplicity, despite the ages, although new runis have more deerish noses (and they were colored with crayons since I didn't have any colored pencils =n=;; ). I shall write up a more detailed account at some point, but since I'm a bit pressed for time at the moment, that's the basics To adopt, please reply with your name, email, website URL, and the ID of the runi you want For this round it will simply be first come first serve. Runi's must be kept on a webpage or dedicated forum post where you keep your pets (im lax with the time frame, but.. eventually please X); ) ID: ru4mn TAKEN!Gender: maleThere are AT LEAST 60-100 old-world rsuchu unicorns out there-- if you own a few and would like to breed them, nows the time!
Normally runi would only breed within their ring. Because so many owners are absent, likely never to return, here's how this'll go~ If your runi is in a ring, but all of the stallions/mares are owned by absent people, you may request a breeding with anyone's runi in the same ring as yours. If they are NOT in a ring, you may choose to select the "phantom mate" option, where a random wild (and undrawn) runi will be the other parent of your young. For this option, simply put "phantom" as the other parent's name and leave the url/ID blank. You must own at least one of the runis that you are intending to breed. Breedings usually result in two foals. I honestly have not decided whether or not there will be baby graphics or not. Closed for now! Spots open:1. closed2. Janalee 3. closedBreeding form:Name: Email: Webpage URL: Mother's Name: Mother's ID: Mother's URL (image only is fine): Father's Name: Father's ID: Father's URL (image only is fine): A plethora of creatures often keep company with runi and their rings Some just enjoy the company, while others are rely on the safety of the ring or come to it's defense. Mostly its an excuse for me to draw neat stuff and adopt it out =u= You may or may not see several individuals of the same species here from time to time, and at very least they will each be named. They dont HAVE to be paged, but its preferred. They should at least be named, though! No rules, and you're welcome to pick your familiar's gender. You do not need a runi to adopt a familiar, but they make nice page-warmers for your hopeful-spot When adopting a familiar, please fill out the following form: Name: Email: Familiar you'd like: Gender for your familiar: Name for your familiar: Available:None at the moment :0

S'good to be back.. and make people happy! Yes, they are dreds X3 Glad you like <3 I just found a folder containing most if not ALL of the old runis last year (still handy), so if you remember what they looked like, I could proooobably find them. Theres too many to scan them all tho XD Its nice to see this place is still around I was poked to come here from skysongs board, which in turn I discovered from the dragon cave forums (fun little pixel adoption, but they dont like traditional style pets like this... and they're a bit snoody imo ah well). I've been thinking about adopting/'selling' them at PI (which I also discovered from skysongs board) but i dont have cash to blow for a paid account, so... meh. You can pick names for your runis if you'd like. I'll have to work out a sheet of who owns who

I distinctly remember one Runi of mine that was black/white and I think had butterflies (or something similar) around her? And I think another that was yellow w/ a brown mane, although I'm not as sure on that one. ^^' I think I had others but I'm not too sure.
Dreads are full of win :3 I'll have to think up a nice name for him now...
I really miss this community.. I'm really itching for a nice cyberpet community but I don't have any way of paying for a PI account and the only other large one I can think of would be the Gaia breedables forum, but I'm not really fond of the community there. :/

Four? Can't wait to see them all again, DS. Thanks for looking, and for whenever you get them scanned. *prods LilLavLav* Runis have a specific naming system - as said by DS in the first post: "Their naming pattern is "****'s **** ****", for example, Dawn's Crimson Blood or Boulder's Mossy Face."

the only other large one I can think of would be the Gaia breedables forum, but I'm not really fond of the community there. :/ I was part of that community for a number of years and I'd have to agree. It was very clique-oriented. It didn't matter whether or not you had talent; if you knew the right people, you were popular and you made millions. These popular people (some of them anyway) banded together in a circle of butt-kissing to form an untouchable ring of jerks who thought they were god's gift to gaia, making gold off other peoples lineart because they had no artistic talent of their own... just a silver tongue and a lust for popularity. There were amazing/awesome people and artists of course. But with a community of that size, there are bound to be plenty of no-goods, and they spoil the barrel for sure.

Oh, wow, more activity. =D
Maybe Lessa is right afterall and I should start offering things through here again.
I'm part of the Gaia B/C and what you've said can be quite true, DS... but it's not all like that. And, in my opinion while I was on the site, PI was worse. I'm sure there are people who would disagree. *shrugs*
Anyway, I shall have to start checking in daily again if activity like this can flare up again! It's like a long-lost friend coming to town and getting everyone together, this burst at the Orchard.
