Name: IceCat e~mail: mordria@yahoo.com web adress: sample page: mordria.byethost22.com/feidaqq.html Number of C'banae: 3 Last minute URLs: :0P None ^^ Description/story: She snorted loudly into the still air. It hadn’t been her fault that her ‘friend’ accidentally pushed one of the herd members into a lake again and blamed it on her had it? After she revealed her slight magic abilities, everyone had become more wary of her than usual even though it was barely useful. She really meant no harm and was just playing around with her friend when the incident occurred, but apparently everyone thought otherwise, especially since the culprit was her. Perhaps it served her right to befriend a magical crow... The anger was already seeping into her serene ice blue eyes and the shock of having been accused of such a horrendous act was almost debilitating. She ruffled her long flowing, rainbow feathers of her wings against her colorful yet dark coat with indignity, stalking off once again into the deeper parts of the forest. Maybe she could disappear off to the tundra like she had done last time but she didn’t want to feel guilty when everyone would be missing her. But since when did anyone miss her? Weren’t they all after her stupid healing abilities? As she turned around, she noticed her crow doll sitting on the dirt. Glaring at her toy, she stalked off to the tundra, or rather the freezing streams.
(She loves to create stories, especially when she causes an accident and is quite the actress, dressing herself often in various types of jewelry of feathers and such. Also she loves to be 'misunderstood,' allowing her to rant on and on.)
Random funneh to amuse the Pega: How many sides does a circle have?
I'm not sure if they have magical abilities since they are magical creatures ^^

Name: Janalee e~mail: StrangelyDreamt@yahoo.com web adress: www.geocities.com/feignedmoonsample page: www.geocities.com/feignedmoon/pega/nomvula.htmlNumber of C'banae: one Last minute URLs: none, or above I suppose *half grin* Description/story: (*smiles apologetically at the wordiness*) The sun was just barely over the horizon, yet already promised a bright, burning day in the desert. The c’bana smiled almost triumphantly at it, and then lowered her head back to form a curled ball in the shallow hollow; it was easy enough to avoid the worst of the day’s fire. After a moment she shifted slightly, nearly napping already, when she heard a call behind her. She groaned, and hoped that maybe he hadn’t seen her yet, that the dull copper scales along her back and tail matched the brush and sand too well. “Pangolin Child?” No such luck apparently. She waited another moment anyway, trying in vain to make him feel awkward standing at her back, before replying with an overly-dramatic sigh. “I do have a name, and it’s not ‘Pangolin,’ despite my good looks.” “Would you prefer ‘Shaman’s Wife’ then?” She could hear him grinning. She snorted amusedly, despite wanting to be annoyed. “Someone’s been listening too long to the old stories, I see.” Lifting her head resignedly, she looked over her body without glancing at him, trying to figure out what had given her away. She had taken special care to hide the white horse hairs beneath the wider scaled-tail this time, and was pleased to see it wasn’t that anyway. She continued her search, ignoring him as he said, “And it seems someone hasn’t been listening enough.” He smiled at her anyway, and touched her back hoofed leg to quicken her investigation. She frowned at the black limb with its bold reddish-orange stripes; it never did seem as comfortable curled up as its pawed counterparts. As she was busy with that, he took the opportunity to also touch the place on her forehead where the scales started, causing her to jump back and then crinkle her eyebrows at him. He merely smiled and said, “Black or white is easily defined as well. Come along, my friend.” She glowered at his back as he trotted off, but decided to get up anyway; if she was going to be harassed, she may as well get an adventure out of it. And she was sure she could get him into some kind of minor mischief...she grinned to herself as she shook the sand off her dark fur. Without thinking, she took a moment to glance at the sun, seeming to accuse it for her lack of a nap; as she caught herself doing it though, she laughed and shook her head. Apparently she had listened to more than enough of the old tales too. Still smirking, she moved off slowly into the desert after his retreating form, already making plans for the day. Random funneh to amuse the Pega: *also tries to find something funny online* explodingdog.com/january2/spacetothink.html Well, it made me laugh anyway.. :0P

Just so all of you know, this was a /very/ tough judging. ^^; In the end, I decided that the most unique ones that I could also picture very clearly in my mind would be the winners. You were all AMAZING, you don't even know. The more I thought about it, the harder it got. In the end, it was my looking up "Pangolin" that decided the winner. ^.~
And the winners AAAARE....
JANALEE!!! Wow! I had no idea that a name as pretty as "Pangolin" could belong to the spiny anteater. :3 I thouroughly LOVED the idea once I did, though. Good job, good job. <3 1st place gets their desired C'banae plus a second C'bana-- a smaller one. Either a breeding of their choice OR a semi-custom. IE, you chose the coloring OR the body. Not both. Reply here, or PM me with your second choice. ^.^
UNYKO!!! Uinico may not have the mare of his dreams just as he dreamt her, but it's the little imperfections that makes us love people, in't it? <3 Don't worry about the size part, as Uinico's rather small. ^_^ 2nd Place gets a modified version of their description. Aka, Pega choses her favorite parts and keeps them. It may not be your desired size. ^^;
KRYSTAURA!!! I dunno. I just liked yours. The poem, and then the translation thereof was good for my poor little mind. :OP 3rd Place gets a C'bana. Mostly random, though it may look somewhat like your desc, it will probably be a miniature version, if so. :3 Saves Pega's hand some work, y'know.
Thanks again, everyone! I hope no one's too hurt! ^^; I wish I could give one to each of you, but that'd kinda defeat the purpose of a contest. ^^;
