Not that I don't have plenty of my plate already... Are there any of the old fosterers still around? I am contemplating redrawing some of the older ones as well as refostering out those that no longer have web pages but was wondering if people would be willing to donate a couple of dollars for them. I am also *contemplating* making a small book about them but its only just popped into my mind and I don't know if there is enough interest for it (or if I'd be able to stick to the task of it.) For those who don't know of Mahnon Pah'llocki : www.itwerkz.net.au/Tir/forest/beech.htmlAnd I hope to update the Tir some time in the next few months

Hum, do you mean sort of a commission, except it's to adopt an abandonling? (redrawn or non-redrawn?) Either way I'm guessing you'll get a fair bit of interest. *nods* I think I'd probably be interested.

If I am redrawing the individual (as a few may be recent enough for me to still be happy with the image) then abandonlings will be treated as foundlings: the adult picture only will be redrawn.
I don't like the idea of people 'buying Pah'llocks' - I know they are only two dimensional images of mine but it smacks of slavery in that I imagine them to be real individuals and friends. One does not sell friends. And I don't like the idea that those with no money or haven't access to money wouldn't be able to foster. So fostering will be free but re-drawing will cost a couple of coins to cover paper, pencils and time. However - to be on the contrary side - i don't want to foster out old/bad pictures (that would be free were they better drawn) so many of them would need to be redrawn... and hence funded. That would be the word... Funding a redraw - you aren't buying a Pah'llock - you foster it and fund a refurbishment of the picture.
First however I'll need to get the list checked and updated... I'll go post a note to see if I can round up a couple of volunteers.

Okay, so redraws are required to be funded, only adult stages will be redrawn, only Pah'llocks you still like the picture of can be adopted out non-redrawn, and everything's waiting on the list check.
I think I've got it.

[grins] Haven't you enough Lex ^_^ (Or was that on the redrawings?) Haaaah - I need to organise my pah'llock folder. It's as thick as a novel, A4 and doesn't even have the Tir Pah'llocks in it @_@ Hows Iowa? I was in the states again but still didn't make it up your way @_@

Iowa is okay ^^; Crazy weather, 90+ degrees in October only to drop down to the 50's the next day lol. But the harvest is on so it's a blast driving home facing west when the dust illuminates the setting sun and blinds you heh. It's a wonder I haven't driven into the ditch yet ^^;

I'd better leg it - I need to redraw these Pah'llocks for Silv and work on my online comic (goneastray.keenspace.com) I'll stop in tomorrow to see if anyone else has piped up about checking the Tir for me and so forth. If anyone is interested I have commissions and art available on Furbid at the moment: www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auction/usergallery.pl?usernum=1658&seller=Darkhorse

I'd love to adopt more, maybe finally get on when there's breedings. I always seemed to miss them before.
And I'd pay whatever you want to be able to foster and get redraws of the stallions my mares are with if they are no longer up. The links to them have all long since been defunct.

I'm definately interested. I was always too slow to get a Pah'llock, except for one. I assume there's going to be a place to give you updated URLs, cause I had to mpve my web-page.

I was too late on the scene to adopt a Pah'llock though I wanted to, so I'm definitely open to you bringing them back.
