Deadline: None yet established The Prize:The first that not only displays the full arm-wing genes, but belongs to a higher class noted for natural leadership capabilities (along with higher levels of intellegence), ornamentations and/or painted designs, and the coloring of actual avians. This means, of course, that she will most likely be clever and a bit stubborn to persuade. This female has the coloration of a painted bunting. The Contest:Roleplay for the prize! If you manage to entice her, she's yours. The winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, and determination. The Rules:1. You may use any character you wish: your avatar, a beloved character, or one of your already fostered Tyvirons. Just keep in mind that your character's species may affect her reactions to you. Think accordingly. 2. No powerplaying. That is, your character is not invincible and all-powerful. 3. Don't roleplay anyone else's character. You can interact, but don't form their reactions for them. 4. Your approach is entirely up to you! (Note: female Tyvirons tend to be dominant over males, so this girl won't be prone to submitting to a male) 5. Use only one character, please, for the sake of [my]organization. 6. Be aware and considerate of the whereabouts and actions of the other characters. 7. Be respectful to the other players. 8. Have fun! The Form:Private Message me your form, wait for approval, and then feel free to make your first post when you're ready. No need to rush. ^^ Name: E-mail: Website: Character Name: Character Species: Brief Character Description:

Small droplets of moisture cling to the assortment of leaves surrounding a rather small clearing in the vast rainforest. The fingers of the canopy stretch out towards one another overhead, the gaps between the foliage allowing sunlight to pass through and dapple the earth. Amidst the colorful array of flowers, the female saurian rests half-concealed but fully aware.

Sent to this... primal place... by her oh-so-busied mother, Shinken stalked through the underbrush. Go find a way to bring that giant lizard back she'd said. Right. So she was technically the smart one... at least in her family. And now she was here in the center of an untamed jungle, sent to collect this creature. It wasn't even intelligent enough to make a proper familiar! Even the Sanctuary's mistress had a familiar....
Along these lines she grumped, making no effort to remain silent. Wings were held tightly to her back, only clattering faintly and on rare occasion when held so. Her lengthy whip-like tail trailed carelessly behind, the femme appearing to be nothing so much as a large lizard herself. Alright, a lizard with frill and horns maybe... but a lizard nontheless as far as most non-sentient life could tell. Hells, seeing as these raptors dominated this area, it was possible the creatures assume her to be one among them regardless of the difference in size.
Hrmmm... now if she was an insanely rare raptor.... what would bring her out of hiding? Meyhaps these creatures were territorial! Planting taloned feet she deeply inhaled, and bellowed out a roar of challenge. All she had to go on here were the calls she heard from the one female in the Sanctuary... and she hoped that her impression was like enough to draw out a terretorial femme raptor

Whilst another part of the forest shook with Shinken's call, across the jungle it was eerily silent. The jungles normally teem with life and it's song as the creatures go about their lives... Yet no such clamor existed here. Why? The thick growth of the understory masked vision and dulled senses, yet there was no motion within sight to suggest a reason for such silence. Then- there. A tiny flick of motion, so small as to be almost unnoticed. The motion, however, brought the eyes to focus on the shape of it, and, squinting, you could make out the form of a crouching feline, still as stone, eyes burning holes into a spot a few yards away.
In that very spot, a small critter was nervously making its way out of its den. Its nose twitched in indecision as it fluttered just out of the open, and were you there, you could practically feel the feline's silent focus, willing for its prey to come out with every fiber of its being. Finally, the rodent alighted from its den, tail lashing about its heaving flanks. The muggy heat seemed to increase as the eyes of the jungle watched the event with detached, cold eyes; as long as the cat ate now, the watchers would be safe until later. The rodent turned its back upon its stalker, looking for some morsel or crumb to fill its tiny stomach. The cat tensed, lowering into the hunch before the pounce, shoulders rolling and flexing. It struck- but a split second before, the echoes of Shinken's roar shot shot through the forest. The prey fled, and it's hunter was left with empty paws. Muttering feline curses to itself, the panther turned towards the roar, purple eyes aflame. It was only a rodent she'd lost, and a small one at that, but hunting was a volatile sport. Who knew when she'd get such a chance again?? Stubbornly, she weaves her way through the brambles, padding towards where she thought the sound came from. She'd get to the bottom of this, for sure.

Prism happily tramped through the litter of leaf mould carpeting the forest floor. She had heard of a rare sort of raptor that made these parts its home – a raptor painted with beautiful and vibrant colours that reminded her very much of her own. Upon hearing of this rare and vibrant beauty, she knew that she had to see it for herself. She splashed through a shallow pool of muddy water, throwing a spray of shimmering droplets into the air. Although stripes usually serve to conceal their owner, Prism’s did the exact opposite – they stood out like a neon sign amongst the undergrowth. Despite her miniscule size, no one could miss her, even if they tried – and that was exactly the way she wanted it… Just then, the ground reverberated with Shinken's roar…

A streak of white shines through the bright darkness of the forest floor. After a wary silence following the predator's roar, the calls of birds and monkeys high above seem very loud. He who is coming is leaning heavily upon his staff, but his white robes, trailing all the way to the ground, slide effortlessly past any thorn, any jutting branch that seems sure to catch them. In fact, it seems like he is walking in between every obstacle instead of having to face them.
Entering a tiny clearing he carefully folds his robes around him and sit down on the edge of one of the branches of the fallen giant that had once occupied this space. In the small spotlight of sun around him wines bloom in bright purple, small blue flowers strewn in amongst the green are constantly courted by butterflies.
Pushing back the hood of the cloak, he reveals his elven ears, long white hair falling past his shoulders and a face unmarked of years. With his face raised towards the sun, he breathes deeply, enjoying the fragances of the forest. Then, still with his eyes closed, his hands fly in flowing, complex movements in front of him. Breathing deeply, calmly, the wizard goes into meditaion. Bringing into himself the magic that will hopefully tell him the right way, or even better, bring the one he seeks to him.

Some time passed. The shadow of a flying bird crossed the clearing. The sun moved an inch in the sky.
Then the wizard raised his hands from his lap, slowly as if he was lifting a heavy weight. Putting his palms together in front of his face, and then quickly pulling them apart he opened his eyes. With a lopsided smile he studied the glowing sphere of light floating in the air in front of him. "Hantalë Mirë." He told it gently. "Lesta!" The ball bobbed a few times in the air and then vanished.
"Now, " he stated to himself. "At least I know which way to go." He rose slowly, pain flying over his face. Leaning upon his staff, he started off into the forest. He halted mid-step, catching sight of something bright and colourful moving purposefully on the other side of the bushes. It was way too small to be whom he sought, but he thought he could feel a sentient mind brushing his. "Aiya." He called out, 'hello' to a fellow wanderer, or maybe one of the forest inhabitants.

In place the draconic female remained, easily stalked after by her fellow competitors. Such boredom as this should be punishable..... she'd think, whip-like tail twining about behind once more. Soon she'd need move....

Upon hearing the roar, the female's feathered crest instantly stiffened with a mixture of curiosity and defense. The cry sounded close to a call her own species would make, but it was odd and somehow different. She remained motionless for several moments, contemplating the source of the sound and waiting for any echoes. Exhaled air whistled sharply through her nostrils, and with her regal head pointed to the heavens, she searched for scents. Whereas normally her sense of smell was excellent, there was a cluster of rather fragrant flowers that covered most of anything else.
She couldn't smell the creature that had bellowed, but her ears noted the challenge in the voice. With a snort and toss of the head, her jaw dropped slightly and an answering challenge rolled from her throat. Though she was a loner, this was /her/ roaming area. She knew of no oikos that dwelled here, and she certainly wasn't about to share it with another female.

Oddly misplaced ears that would look more at home upon a feline pricked, the frills about the young dragon hybrid's features flaring for the sake of expression. Stiff lip corners turned lightly upwards, pleasure audible in a faint rumble. Good- at least barbaric tactics seem to work. she thought inwardly. Maybe she'd be able to handle this swiftly?
Lengthy tail slithered and twined in the grass at her back, arms lifted, crossing afront cloth-obscured chest. Even her gauntlets had been dismissed, a more tribal look cultured so as to avoid presenting herself as too terribly startling. She had the basic look of a reptile.... She'd just have to hope her mane was assumed a crest. As long as bone wings remained folded.... she shouldn't be too much a shock in appearance. Massive lungs would expand, a breath pulled in so as to again sound her bellow from before. Like as not she'd have to repeat it until the other managed to locate her.

The wizard tensed. As the second and third roar echoed through the forest he smiled quietly to himself. There should be no other animal in this forest except a Tyviron that could make that kind of sound, hopefully they would all stay together.
With a last glance behind him for the spark of colour he started hobbling on through the forest, following the sound and hoping he would get there before the combattants had time to leave.

Legs churning up leafy fodder, Nova bounded across the jungle in great leaps, heading for the reptilian sounds. Her curiousity was aroused- and what is curiousity to a cat, besides a bringer of urgency? She felt she simply had to know what had made these sounds and cost her her lucheon... And, from the repeating, challenging roars that reached her ears, it sounded like she had little time in which to quench her curiousity.
Her speed brought her very close to the Tyviron- no doubt it would hear her, if not too distracted by its "opponent".
