Mozer gave a low sigh, as he skimmed the are with blue eyes. He wasn't afraid, just nervous. Nervous of wot might happen to him and more nervous about wot could happen to Geil. "To remain fair, edges are boundaries," he stated easily, standing in a relaxed stance. "No throwing anyone over. No outside resources or help; this is between the two of us only." Perhaps it seemed strange that Mozer was announcing rules that really only limited him, but it wouldn't be fair if they didn't have the same set. And, who knew, maybe it would help him in the end.
"Either party can claim their satisfaction upon winning, whether or not either act has been finished." Loophole so he could hopefully avoid killing Geil if possible. It wasn't as though he were an outraged lover trying to recover Natalya's honour. Just a, dare he say, leader, trying to protect his people. He hesitated and finally asked, "Do you require a time limit for this?"

Geil nodded as he listened to Mozer say the rules, how kind of him to use ones that well... Pretty much limited himself, mozer falling off the edge could catch himself, Geil would need a convenient tree or low flying creature. He tossed a rock off the edge then quickly moved away from it as he didn't hear it hit the ground for awhile...
"Time limit? I'm not very good at keeping track of time, so how about if the sun dips low enough for us to be in shadow we stop?" He suggested then stood up, moving into his half way standing stance and stretching his arms before letting them move back to a more natural position... He looked ready to go, and it also looked like he was most likely going to take off running the instant they started... Although he made sure he had a bit of distance between them already.
"You do the count down." He said with a wicked grin appearing... He was having doubts... He didn't want to risk hurting himself, which meant taking down mozer fast, but doing things quickly meant it could hurt Mozer... Unfortunately Geil was still counting himself as much more important.

Mozer gae a small nod. "Terms are agreed." He took a deep breath. "Let's do this."
"On our marks. . . get set.. . . " he closed his eyes for less than a second before they reopened and focused intensely on the tsume. "Go." And he was off in a flash of surprising speed for his nearly indolent posture earlier.

Geil's rather carefree look quickly drained away as the countdown started, and when it was finished he took a prolonged blink, and when his eyes reopened they glowed. Staring right through the others blue spheres... It was hard to tell why, but this look caused pain, as geil bundled up afew strong emotions and then slammed them into mozers mind with about the elegance of a chisel and a hammer, an instant incredibly severe migrain ensued as the false emotions and feelings tried to shove everything else into the back of his mind.
Then he took off running, This time he had motivation, There was a real reason why he should try and stay ahead of the other person participating in the current act of racing... So he gave it as much speed as he could muster.

Mozer winced visibly at the sudden jab at his mind, teeth baring though he only slowed for a few steps before he forced his feet moving again. He had to end this quickly; he doubted he could fight off Geil's influence for overly long.
As with Natalya, his more flexible spine helped him as he ran, especially as he let the headache ride through his mind and instead devoted his thoughts to moving his feet. This was hardly the first time he'd been in pain, so he worked with it, knowing that going against it would only result in worse pain. He accepted the pain and moved around it, closely the distance between him and Geil with frightening speed.

Unfortunately, accepting the pain and not fighting against it left him much more open to the subsequent attack, And Geil did not want this gryvern anywhere near him when it was planning on physical harm such as it was. And with this mental rush it hit even harder than the first one, thoughts of how Geil hadn't actually hurt anyone and was just acting on nature... Instinct... You couldn't punish someone for that... And the way he moved was so elegant, like a raptor... His feet hardly seemed to leave foot prints as he ran, and the way his body moved.....
Now if Mozer was still managing to hang on somehow, this is when he might notice that blood was beginning to ooze out of his nose at a slow rate... If he had not already gotten knocked out of his fighting state the next push would probably force him to succumb... Or cause brain damage, Geil was not being gentle....The thought of giving up was starting to become tempting, then neither of them would get hurt... Much.
Geil glanced backwards as he saw the quickly approaching mozer, and with a swift series of motions scooped up a handful of loose dust and gravel, slid to a stop rather and rather abruptly did a back flip as the sinous dragon approached him... Releasing the gravel mid jump hoping to confuse or block his vision to avoid getting snagged or something...

The thoughts slipped insiduously through the back of his mind, but the gryvern wasn't responding to that; everything was focused fully on the prey before him. A brief sneeze sprayed blood, even as it happened to protect his eyes from the gravel. His hindquarters bunched beneath him as he twisted up and around to catch Geil's hindquarters. The gryvern's flexibility was awesome, but the pain in his mind burst forth and, with the tsume still caught, Mozer collapsed.

Geil's thoughts momentarily haulted when there was a sudden uh, bite on a semi-sensitive place, this of course was very bad... Doing a back flip was difficult even when someone didn't happen to bite and grab onto the general area of his tail. Owowowow, He twisted his body around in preperation to attempt to free himself, and rip out Mozers brain with sheer anger and pain... But as he was about to shred what was holding together the gryverns mind he realized... It had passed out, and instead of trying to kill it, pried it's jaws off his hindquarter and. He ignored his own pain for a moment to get behind Mozers head and get him into a small headlock... it wasn't the best, but he needed to make sure there was no sudden angry biting as he began to more thoroughly, and gently neutralize the thoughts he didn't want Mozer to have upon waking up.
All the whilst repeating 'don'twakeupdon'twakeupdon'twakeup' in his head, because at this rate he'd just have to break Mozer to save himself if the gryvern woke up too soon...

The gryvern did wake, but he very carefully didn't move. At least most of the pain was gone. Ah, well. "I conceed the match," his voice sounded strange to him, and he wasn't entirely certain why. However, he really wasn't willing to try that again and he would have made a mental note of the fact, but it didn't seem too wise to mess with his mind any further for today.
That thought stalled in his head. Actually, it seemed like he very well may have his mind messed with more today. Blast. "Did I hurt you badly?" the gryvern asked quietly, realizing he had blood in his mouth. Best not think too closely about that one.

Geil released mozer from the headlock, but still held up his head for a moment to examine his eyes... Well, there was one good thing, he hadn't pushed hard enough to cause mozer to bleed from his eyes.... "I'll be ok, just got a few more bruises and a rather inconvenient bite mark..." He said before shifting his position alittle bit... Oww... He wouldn't be sitting down normal for awhile.
Geil began massaging Mozers forehead alittle bit, it seemed to help release some of the lingering pain but a strong head ache continued to dampen his mind... And he could almost feel geil rearranging the furniture in his mind to better fit his liking... This was going to be a long day. of course... Mozer had never specified a time for release from Geil, not for himself anyways, only for Natalya. Oopsie.
"Did I hurt you badly?" He asked with a small chuckle, he doubted mozer really got hurt from that exchange... Physically anyways.

Mozer couldn't help a brief shudder at the sense of someone else hacking around in his head, but he had agreed to this and now he was honour-bound to hold up his end of the bargain. His head hurt enough that he just had to accept the pain and let it simply be. If he thought about it, it would be worse.
"I bet you know just how badly my head hurts," the gryvern replied, letting his bright eyes slip closed. "Otherwise I just think I may sneeze again."

Geil rubbed his head against the side of mozers, sighing slightly. "Yes.... I know. I have gotten in enough fights with other sins to know what degrees of pain can be inflicted... It's worse when you start to bleed from your eyes... Very much worse." then he stopped and just held his head against mozers for a moment, his own pink eyes closing... Then the head ache seemed to lessen a bit... It might be awhile before it left though.
"I almost gave up when you resisted my first attempt... I didn't really want to hurt you." he said with a sigh as if he almost wished he had. It was somewhat strange to see him actaully care about someone, from the description of the sins he must be an anomaly.
It was so... Kind of him wasn't it? He could literally be doing anything he wanted right now, even tending to his own wound but instead he's trying to comfort you...[/b]

Mozer tensed again as the strange thoughts that didn't seem so strange came through his head, but even that movement caused some of the pain to flare up again. And he had agreed to this. Still, it was hard to make himself relax and accept it. "Does it feel good to use your abilities?" he asked in a low voice.
This was his forfeit. He was bound by his word. How hard would it be to catch a mind that already partially agreed with the hunter?

He looked away a little bit, glancing towards the edge of the cliff with a avoidant air, Did it feel good to use his abilities? Yes... Yes, it did feel good Especially when they worked. "It does feel good, but the end result is what I really like.." He said then shifted his attention to the tooth marks on his hindquarters... It was bleeding a bit, he should probably do something about it soon, if only to ensure it doesn't scar.
"I um, Don't especially want to push you farther today... How about we start tommorrow?" He offered with a cheerful voice, as he started to get up to his feet, making a few 'ow' and 'eek' noises as muscles around the tender spot were moved. "Can you walk?" He pretty much guessed he answer was going to be along the lines of 'yes, but I don't want to' or something.

Mozer's eyes blinked back open in surprise and his head jerked towards the tsume before he winced from the pain. "Start tomorrow?" And Mozer abruptly realized he didn't know how long he'd agreed to be here. Blue eyes slipped closed and he gave a low groan. Oh, now wot had he done? His Teacher had always told him he was too impetuous; proof and proof again. With a sigh, the brindle Dark pushed himself up, moving slowly to follow the tsume. "I can fly us back down," he offered, voice shuttered with reluctance and perhaps a hint of despair.
