once was a a land so pretty and so, with many creatures and things, but one day something horrid happened, the kingdom turned against each other, blaming everyone, even their own children......but, there was a grope that stayed pure, trying to help, the leader of that group: the princess of the land and many others tried to help.......even if it meant what they feared: war.

"Nobody but a mere wanderer..." Said a voice and out came a scrawny, dirty young boy emerged from the shadows. He was Joth Bowen or rather Joth the Mouse a petty little thief whose cocky attitude and cheeky remarks won the loth of many thief catchers.
The lad eyed the princess with a nervous look taking that her fancy clothes and high posture gave him the impression that this maiden belong to somebody wealthy and somebody who'd probably not like the idea of their daughter in the company of a thief.
Best say your hullos and goodbyes and get out of here. She might have a henchman mucking about. He thought.

"Whoa! Hey Wait!" He cried out chasing after her. Great just great if this girl was a princess it was a hangman's that would be adroning his neck for sure. If he didn't catch her in time that is.
Problem was though if he did nab her royal highness, what then? Kiddnap her and hold her for ransom? No, the Mouse may be a petty lowdown thief but he still had a sence (small as it was) of moral and it was in the Thief's Code (or the one that Joth made up) to never steal (or hurt) from women.
Prehapes a little smooth talking will do the trick. "Wait I wasn't gonna hurt you!"

"Not the way you're 'falling' over me Princess!" Mused the thief taking the Kaylin's arm and lifted her back to her feet. He smiled hopping that his charm and wit could con err convince princess not to put him on the 'swing shift.'
