My harness wasn't on quite right, I think. When the parachute opened, the sudden deceleration yanked my harness so hard that it cracked one of my ribs. I didn't really feel it until a few hours later (once the adrenaline wore off). I'm glad I did it--it was on my list of things to do before I die--but I don't have any desire to go again. Music's a fantastic choice. I was just wonder what happened to music education today--all education seems to be narrowing in on the english and mathematics needed to pass arbitrary standardized tests. We need more creativity or else everything's just memorization. It's a shame, really. :/ Thanks, sera!

I also went through and saved Sirah's old site to the best of my ability--I am thinking of sticking it up in its preserved form, if nobody objects. I think that is excellent. Good for you for saving it! I have no objections. I was able to save a few of my old, old favourite adoption from geocities before it closed: Manhon Pah'llocks. I saved the source script as well so I can put them up exactly as they were. I'm really considering doing it - not because I want their critters, but to keep something I loved so much alive.

And an update on my life...hmm. Well, in short... I hadn't adopted anything in years, but shortly before geocities decided to shut down, I found Lex on LJ and facebook, and I started adopting Faymaah after not adopting anything in like, 10 years. I had gotten busy at highschool in my courses, fell in love with a fellow in England (we met on a text-based roleplaying game), and started university. I traveled to China, Mexico and England, as well as here and there in the States. I got involved with pilates and alternative forms of exercise. My brother got cancer (he beat it; don't worry he's doing great). This year, I graduated from university with a Bachelor's of Arts majoring in Sociology. And...I got married!! My now-husband, Gaz, immigrated to Canada in 2003, got his permanent residence in 2005, bought me a house and then married me up! He's a big sweetheart, even if he's shorter than me. Here's one of us! www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4393003&id=690590419 ;D

Hi everybody! I'm sitting in a common room... I'm an undergrad now, majoring in city planning, and I'm just sitting in our common room staring at my to-do list and wondering what inspired me to leave my fantasy book in my room because that would 'motivate me more to do my work' v.v City planning is super cool, though one of my friends just got his masters in that and can't seem to find anyone hiring in the field right now with economy as it is. He's gone back to construction work.
