^_^ My brother has loads of inbred guppies. They've been like that for a fair few good years. I think they've evolved to be adjusted to incredibly murky water. xP

Lex~ Awe, that's too bad. Well, at least you get to enjoy the Koi you already have. Koi are so fun!
Stormy~ Oh, no, I hadn't heard about your baby Mollies. Fun stuff! Heh, I kinda wanted to get some Mollies too, but then I decided that one livebearer species would probably be enough to keep me plenty busy. ^_^
Lividie~ Heh, horray for evolution?
Emma~ Goldfish are definately cool. Are they hard to breed, then?

Raven~Oh, what a fun surprise! That happened to me once with guinea pigs. I got a female for Christmas, and on New Years Day she had three babies. "Santa" had purchased her a fair while before christmas and then kept her hidden, so he didn't know she was expecting when he got her. ^_^ Oh man. When I got Skunk at the petstore last year, I almost settled for a brown and white sow instead of the little black and white boar I went with instead. Which made me increidbly lucky because a week later, that sow had babies. Since I'd never had guinea pigs before, I would so totally have been over my head. I've got two piggers now, and Ferdinand (adopted from the animal shelter) was a petstore surprise baby from what his surrender card said.

Baby fishies were doing well when I left them this morning. Raven~ Oh, you have guinea pigs? They're so fun! I was looking at some in the pet store yesterday when I went to buy baby fishie food. I love my fishies, but that doesn't keep me from missing guinea pigs. Hum..I guess not everyone like surprise babies, eh? I was just totally trilled. The experience really got me hooked on baby piggies, too. I was like 8 at the time, and I continued to raise them up until I was 15. I had to give away my piggies then because we were moving to Jerusalem for a year and couldn't take animals with us. Someday when I don't have to worry about living in an appartment I'm going to start raising them again. Leela~Oh, that is too bad, that's a cool kind of fishie. ^_^

Yup Silv, I've got Da Boyz. Skunk's a black and white Silkie, and Ferdinand is a red self American. They live together, but I don't have to worry about baby pigs because they're both boys. The have a 10.5 square foot cage (which is about 28"x 56") that I built myself with a second level loft (made it out of colorplast and those metal ogranization grids) and they're bedded on a fleece blanket and towels. They get Oxbow pellets, and unlimited hay, and they also have a petstore cage for travel. They don't fight at all, even in the little cage. They're best buds and they're totally fun to play with. They give kisses on command, and go crazy when they hear a plastic bag crinkling... it's like a guinea pig opera.
