Hi Myth, I think there's several of us that can help you out with that. Let's start with a bit of info gathering, though. What program do you have to use for coloring, and how familiar are you with it?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I have Microsoft Photo Editor, Imaging and Paint. I'm not too farmiliar with them. But I don't use them too often either. So, yah... Sorry, I'm computer chalanged!

Which creature are you talking about of mine? For the Forlit, I just use paint, and use the pencil to make the spots or dipped markings, then I use the paint can to fill in the markings with different colors. And if you are talking about my Ceasle, I use Adobe Photoshop 2.0 which is a little more complicated. For the ones that I've colored at least. The other, cooler, ones were colored by Uni, Lessa Lynn, and Beth.

It really depends... If you want basic colors, no shading or anything, paint is fine. I'm currently redoing my Derions with computer coloring. (Next time I'll make them smaller. The 'avoid-the-markings' game is killing me.)
If you want shading, I suggest buying an advanced computer paint set thingy-ma-jig. I know this girl who adopts out creatures using that type of thing. The critters are AWESOME, but it takes her a month to do 3.
I can help you with the basic computer coloring, but higher then that, go ask Foxxfyre.

Howdy all! I’m going to be gone most of next week to County Fair. But due to that fact, I might get a chance to catch up on my crits and get a jump on others. I’ve got a jump on a few of my crits and might be getting access to a scanner in a while, so ya… This would be a good time to get any custom crit orders in. I know that DSL-Devin wanted a Storm Gryphen. If anyone does want something, just send the orders to my pm. Indigo Moon, if you want something, you can just post the request here. …About the computer color ins, would it work easier if I used a scanner. Cause right now I just take a pic with my digital camera and upload it to the computer. Is there anything else I can try? I tried using paint, but the bucket just pained little dots every time I clicked. I might just let someone else color in some of my crits and give them some crits in exchange. Anyone interested in that idea?

I can color them in. I'll have to crop the pics and stuff. It gets really hard to get used to, believe me. It took me almost a year. O.O But yeah, I can help.
Yeah, I adopted the Tiny horseish-dogish thing, so that's all I'm waiting for right now. ^_^

I'm working on your's, it's just harder to do the baby form because the adult is so tiny and the baby needs to be tinier. You can do my color ins when I get things more organized, but how can I get the outlines to you?

If you still need help I'm decent at Photoshop (my intial thought of goddess was probably a little too... exaggerated) With paint you can probably get decent cel shading like the type like the unicorn has at www.nichibeianime.com/cel-imgs/last_unicorn-imgs/lu006.jpg For soft shading you'll probably want Photoshop or Paint Shop or something similar. I can show some examples if you need them, but these two can also easily do cel shading.

Umm.... you can e-mail them to me. But maybe I'm not the best person. I can't shade at all. Basic computer colorings are much easier. *nods*
Good luck on the tiny horseish-dogish thing! ^_^
