Guuuuh. Xenon's been a better name for me. When I was going by ChaosWing, people kept calling me CW or.. Wing. I prefer Chao. In rl, people spell my name Hannah. ;_; It makes me a sad panda. Hanna, thx.

yeah that would *_* but sadly, my boyfriend's last name is also Smith XD; I'm doomed XD;;; lol, not really n_n you have a 50% chance of meeting people with the last name Smith, Jones, or Rodruguez than anything else XD;;; My last name is Smith. x.x And my first name is always misspelled. Everyone thinks it's "Merissa", "Marissa", "Mericssa" or something ridiculous. It's "Marisa". >_< I absolutely hate it.

I... can't think of an instance where my 'net name was mispelled. My RL name is often mispelled, and it gets really annoying. It's Annette - double n, double t! Not Anette, Annete, or the dreaded Anete. ;

My first name, Cami, can be spelled a ton of different ways, so it's always being mispelled. It tends to be misheard by people, too, when I tell it to them over the phone. I've had people mishear it as everything from Tammy to Kambi to Karen. It's a relatively common name in this area--I was one of two Cami's in my high school Orchestra--but a lot of people from other areas don't seem to have heard of it.
Heh, my madien name was "Ball" and believe it or not I've had that mispronounced. "Bazsh" is how all the little Argentinian kids tried to pronounce it when they read my name tag. ^^ It's funny, too, how often people would ask us to spell it.
I don't think I've had my online name misspelled too much. Although I think people probably mispronounce it. At least, the people in RL who I tell my URL to mispronounce it often. It's SIL-vuh- non, not sil -VAN - un.

well, my first name RL is always mispronounced or misspelt. -always-. if you can do one, apparently you can't do the other. RL last name always has problems with the 'L'. maiden or married, that L always gets moved around. originally mechler usually called melcher. now stalder, usually called stadler. online name, yes, i'm constantly getting called strange things but it is NOT pronounced sera aches. i don't hurt. well, actually, i do, but it's not in my name! ><; lol
i will note, however, that if i meet any of you IRL and you call me some version of 'michael' i will hurt you. badly. <<;;;;;;;

You think thats bad my last name ends in a X! It's silent but people for some stupid reason try to pronuce it anyway >.<;; I've heard so many varations of my last name, I've given up if someone calls and prounces it wrong I just tell them no one lives here by that name. Generally tella marketers or foren people who have a thick accent.
Last name is Giroux prounced G-Roo or Ja-roo french. If someone prounces my first name wrong I'm gonna look at the weird and back away.

I haven't really had my online name misspelled, but my real name is all the time. My boss even continuously misspells/pronounces it, even though I write it all over the place. My name's Laura, but I've been called Laurie, Lora, Lara, Lauren, Lori. It's gotten so bad I reply to anything with a L sound to it. I always have to spell out my last name, cause it's not common at all, even though it's a simple name. And it's pronounced Don-tin. But spelled Donton. So it gets mispronounced a lot. My boyfriend's last name is Guest. And he has to spell it every single time. Teachers have pronounced it geist. And people think he's saying guess, so he has to repeat himself a zillion times.

Hehe, my first name is Devin and people insist on spelling and pronouncing it "Devon".
And with a last name like Lintzenich (lint-zen-ick) you have to be happy if they get even remotely close. Ever. I absolutely adore teachers who get it right the first time, or even the third. Amazingly, some of my friends have even learned to spell it ! (huggles Axis and Tang)

haha, name misspellings. My first, last and internet name is always wrong My first name... sara. simple enough, but people always put an h on the end. im not sara-huh. And my last name... oh my last name. Kresge. you pronounce every letter, but people never like to say the E, I get Cress-age, Kres, Krees-Ge, Kris, Kris-ga, and the ever lasting Resge. Its properly pronounced Kres-Gee. And my internet name is contantly spelt wrong, and mostly likely pronounced wrong. I'm not too fond of 'rhay' I would prefer the abreviation 'Rhaye' or RQ, or Qasr would even work. And people spell it all crazy, Ive gotten Rayscar, Rasquar, Rharyeqar and all sorts of things. And, yes, it is properly pronounced 'Ra-Ye-Quar' which means Flower Child. And my user name for several sim games is MakeLoveNotWar(83) and people call me War, which is a little annoying... :/

(My middle name is Arielle, and I go by that most of the time in real life.) EVERYONE says "Ariel"...I want to yell "It's ARE not AIR!" -growls-

My actual name is BreeAnn and it's been spelled in numerous ways. Most people add an 'a' at the end of it, especially when pronouncing it. Because it's one word and the 'a' is capitalized, only good friends and family spell it right unless I'm giving direct instructions.
As for being called other names, the oddest ones have been Rhianne and.. Brian. A substitue teacher and my classical world professor both read my name off as Brian during attendance once. -_-
