I was thinking the same as Sera, actually XD; It's a cute idea and I'm quite happy to take my 20 day trial-run, but they could get in serious trouble if Hasbro gets wind that they're charging people to play with ponies..

I'm actually surprised with as many players as they have that someone hasn't already told Hasbro. I doubt they actually make a profit, though. They probably only make enough to keep the site up.

I'm tempted to try out having a full paid account, if only because I really want to go nuts breeding And choices are a bit limited with trial. Yeesh, people certainly love their inbreeding! The Hasbro issue does concern me, a bit, but if they were going to be shut down, I assume there would have already been some issues. *shrug* And so many people have borrowed the idea from My Little Ponies, I wonder where Hasbro would stand on that... For now, I'll have fun frolicking on the trial...

*cough* yeah, I'm enjoying planning breedings and sneaking around the market way too much. I might just go ahead and do the paid account thing sooner, as opposed to later. And um... well, I haven't bought anything for myself recently, with the exception of food! So it's ok! lol.

Fera; They won't? They should be able to eat snacks now. Go to their profile page, click on items under the Action menu, then click and drag the snack to your pony's mouth. As for money, you either sell ponies, place bets, or earn it from contests or quests. Plus you get a daily salary based upon how many ponies you have.
It's okay if their mood is on the low side, I've found. I'm not sure what exactly it does, other than sometimes being a factor in contests. I'm assuming you have Air ponies, as I do. because they're housed in earth-based buildings, their moods will be a bit lower.

As for the Hasbro issue: I don't believe they claim anywhere on the site that they are actually My Little Pony. So really, they can't get in trouble for anything. They're based after My Little Pony, but they aren't My Little Pony nor are they referenced as such in any way. The images just happen to closely resemble MLP. Also, the option of symbols aren't even called symbols, but 'tattoos'. Probably for safety reasons. Really, the only thing close enough to MLP is the breed called Flutter ponies.
Dawby: Finding the right ponies, training those ponies through contests, going on quests, and trying to succeed with your own custom breeding projects is actually quite addictive. There's also a race to breed the first Rainbow haired paint ponies of each species, and I'm sure they'll come out with new choices when those become more common. Dragon ponies and mer ponies are also rare, so people strive to get those.
