Seo flicked his tail again, but this time with a small sigh as he nuzzled into her shoulder again. "If you say so," he remarked quietly. "But I don't usually come here to sleep."
He craned his neck to inspect her, eyes thirsty for her visage. "Missing you," he finally replied to her question. "Sera's been busy and randomly disappearing so no one wanted to leave in case we were needed. How have you been?"

Seo flicked his tail worriedly as she came down, not actually trusting the branches to hold her until she actually was on the ground. He trotted up to her, hiffing her all over to be sure she was alright, then flicked her with his tail. "So why were you up in the tree?"

Seo's ears flicked about uncertainly when she spoke again, then he slowly turned his head upwards, craning his neck to twist the triangular appendage to view her. She sounded alright, and playful, so he tried to make himself relax.
He knew that voice and he now knew it had to be coming from above him. Though how she managed that stunt was currently beyond him. Eyes searched almost frantically for her beautiful markings, but the trees were hard to search through and he couldn't make out a clear outline.
"Do you expect me to go up there after you?" he asked, playfullness tinging his tone, though there was an unease as well. He wasn't sure if he was up to trying to climb a tree!

Seo tensed, and he jerked around, looking for the source of the voice. He recognized it, and he desperately wanted to see her!
"Mori?" his voice was plaintive. "I'm going to jump you as soon as I find you. . . " he swished his tail playfully, though he was still tense. He REALLY wanted to see her!

Seo trotted about, noting the little sapling, but not really connecting that it was their seed. He gave a sigh, jumping the creek and trotting around over there, before coming back. He wasn't sure if Mori would come out today or if he was even looking in the right place. He tossed his head again, wondering if he should call out or give up.

A small grey and purple painted unicorn leaps into the Orchard, tiny ears pricking about curiously. He'd been gone for a very long time and was now absolutely desperate to find a certain mare. He trots around the little clearing he landed in, pausing to look at the nearby creek, remembering the last time they'd been here. He tilted his head, wondering about the seed they had planted as well. Would she come? Did she even remember him?

Samir gave another laugh before he responded, "My natural abilities are Air based. I learned Hunter abilities when I chose my Caste. And flight I learned because I found the Tactician." He wasn't certain if she counted all of those as natural. He switched back to discuss her, "And you have a magical singing voice. I've never heard anything so beautiful." The compliment came easily and he didn't fully realize he had even said it until it was already out. Good thing he believed it full-heartedly.

When it became evident that Sobriquet was settled and growing used to the movements of his flight, Samir gained some altitude, putting them a short ways above the treetops. He moved with graceful ease, falling into a pace that he could hold for long periods of time without trouble. Especially with how light his load was. It still amazed him how delicate she was.
"About the gryverns," he murmured, his voice rumbling through his chest and vibrating through his body into hers. He never bothered to think about how he could be heard when they were flying, but he had subconsciously switched keys, to a slightly lower frequency that carried better through the air. "Well, we came from our Home Reality because Mozer found Hawkings Crest and Sera. Upon striking a bargain with her, some of us began to move." He tilted his head as he thought about that. "It's a lot more comfortable here, though occassionally I will miss the windswept plains. But then I think about all of the sand and I am content again." The Air gave a low laugh at that.

Samir felt his chest swell with some pride. "This make take some getting used to," he warned her, then he leapt skyward, body moving in the undulating motions that would keep them in the sky. He kept low to the ground for now to be sure the harness held well and to give her a chance to grow used to the unusal motions. "Tell me if we need to adjust anything." It seemed likely that they would travel this way for awhile and he wanted her to be as comfortable as possible.

Samir blinked in surprise, and his eyes unconsciously drifted the strange little wing fluffs that lit upon her back. He was thoughtful, but his smile was genuine and warm. "Your wish is my command, Sobriquet," he replied easily, then moved with a practiced motion, swinging the cape around. It came over the right hand side of his chest still covering the scar that resided there.
It took only a moment to rearrange it so that it resemebled something like a hood. "There, now you can have a hold in case you need it." Not, he thought with some admiration, that she probably would. He turned to look expectantly to her.

"Well," the Air replied easily. "You're small enough that I could carry you easily. Though all I have to hold onto is my cloak." But he could rig that into a sort of harness/collar that she could hold onto. He had done it often enough for the gryvern nestlings. And he really didn't mind the thought. He rather enjoyed the feel of her soft featheryness. "That would help with the length of this leg of our journey." He smiled again.

Samir felt his chest squeeze at her expression and he leaned over to touch his nose to her beak afectionately. "It's fine, Sobri," he replied easily, obviously not in the least upset by her reaction. "I will suggest that being yourself seems the easiest solution to your quandry, though." He smiled to keep any censure from his voice.

"Ah, and Phoenix," Samir suddenly thought. "There are a lot of streams around here." A grin of pleasure spread across the Air's face, remembering his first trip out of the Home Reality. "I hope you enjoy yourself."
He inclined his head to the other gryvern, gently pressing his cheek to Sobriquet's before turning and heading on their way again.

Samir smiled slightly, unaware of just how telling that one expression might be. Of course, Sobri couldn't see it from her perch, and the Air was completely unaware that his fondness for her actions was already so blatant.
"Yes, off to discover wot we can," he said lightly. He was hesitant to invite the other along for a variety of reasons, including not wanting to share Sobri's attentions. Not that she seemed like she wanted anyone else to come as well.

Samir inspected the newcomer with interest, a tension he hadn't realized was within him slipped away when Phoenix spoke of his quad arriving. A quad meant he had his mate. And that was just fine with the Air.
"It's nice to meet you, Phoenix," Samir replied. "I'm Samir and this is Sobriquet." He kept his dark gaze on the other and seemed more than willing to stare the other down if he showed undue interest in the little gryphon.
"Is everything well with your quad?"
