I travelled to the Library, to use the scanners, and last week they updated the computer systems and lost the scanner software. I complained. But it'll be a couple hours and I'll have to be back to work by then.... Sorry, guys... you don't get to see the 50 ja'alek yet. Imma gonna have one heckuva Festival. May have previews tomorrow instead. We'll see. ----------------------- Anyone even know what Ja'alek are anymore? Most of the Orcharders with them have left it seems. www.geocities.com/cynther/stuff/cliff/herd.html*previews message* Wow, that's a lotta 'smileys' in one message... ____EDIT____ Uhm, yush. CynSin was bad and snuck off to the Library instead of going home. Joyz00rz, the scanner workith! FEAR the huge filesizes! No steals!!! >.> www.angelfire.com/mt/Savanna/images/ja_page.jpgwww.angelfire.com/mt/Savanna/images/ja_page2.jpg

Heh! Figured that's why you had to speak. I was like, 9th or 10th or something. Sorry, couldn't get my GPA _over_ 4.0 like the others. I had somewhere around a 3.9. Pfft. Doesn't matter anymore, anyways. I'm in college and its a good college... that's all I needed. ;D

Congradumalations. ;D I can't imagine someone throwing a beach ball around during our class song. It was December Rain. That's like one of the saddest songs ever. We wanted It's My Life but it lost by 2 votes to something that SUCKED so bad that we got a re-vote, but couldn't use that one again 'cuz it'd lost before, and DR was the only song out of the ones on the list anyone'd heard of. Ehwell. One more reason to cry when I hear the song... Anyways, we did get glares for the class song itself though... it's like 5 or 7 minutes long. Why'd you have to speak?

Love is unexplainable, but one of the most sought-to-explain things.

Yes, indeed, Minidragon Isle. Lessa was involved, and I was quite involved myself... an apprentice on the Kalenik sands. I ran them two or three times... it was what really got me involved in cyberpets. Anyway, that person is wrong in that the Isle would certainly care if someone had taken a minidragon without having bonded it.

Lessa's totally a homicidal maniac! ...just kidding. I went and visited her earlier this month. XD I keep on waiting for someone to mention the Mall of America, but it hasn't come up yet. It has a themepark, shopping, areas to meet people, places to eat... *shifty eyes*

Heh, thanks, Silvanon.
Something different to do. Though the rules so far are a little weird (compared to what I'm used to). I'm guessing it's mostly because of the age difference.

Bah... after avoiding it for howlong I finally got sucked into PI. @_@
In case any of you see "Nethkyve" running around and are like "Hmm... she draws like Cynther", it's okay.
We're the same person. XD

I'm going as a sort of dragon battle mage. Making myself armor out of paper mache and whatnot. Haven't gotten as far as I'd like, but I've got an arm guantlet almost completed, and the mask/helmet is getting there... as well as the breastplate, when I think about it. I also recently bought a base to create the staff on (some sort of tool's ex-handle, and a styrofoam ball) and will be posting pictures whenever I manage to pull everything together.

I don't know for your particular program, but in Paint Shop Pro, I use the bucket/fill tool to fill the background various shades of grey/white/whatever colors are being left around the borders, with the "tolerance" setting between 10-30. I start with white at a rather high tolerance setting, and vary the tolerance and color depending upon what color pixels are left around the borders. Then, when I'm pretty sure most are gone, I fill the background with a really dark color to see which ones are left, and clean those out by hand. If you want it to have no stray pixels, you're gonna have to do at least a little cleaning by hand.

There are people out there who make paper mache furniture... @_@
And, apparently, the Japanese made -actual- armor out of paper mache. So it should be pretty sturdy when I'm done. ^_^
Totally cheated and used Mod Podge instead of the traditional types of paste, which I hope will still work well.
I found this way I could do fewer layers, make less mess, and it dries shiny. (yay, shiny!)
Sanku for the comment, Lumi. It'll be metallic purple, in case people were wondering. ;D
