Her fur had sleeked slightly at the snarl. Though she wasn't scared, he did still manage to surprise her from day to day. Vendsha would probably never be able to predict his reactions, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
She chuckles warmly, "Ah yes the 'snack' the first time I showed my scary toothy-freaky face to you." It was a look that sent many small critters fleeing for their lives only to meet their doom.
He really was in a mood. A rare sadness fills her eyes to see him in such a state. Though she loved him so much that she never wanted him to be hurt ever again, pain was something, she knew he needed. Didn't matter why.
The Ethereal had learned some very interesting skills since they fell in love. *whip flick!* Goes her pink, fine as air, tail tuft upon his shoulder. It made a sadisfying snap! against him and left a brief aching sting behind. Then soft and sweet, she soothed the spot with the same tuft and moved to caress his cheek. "Angelus...what is wrong?" Vendsha asks.

A floating figure wends her way through the orchard trees, seeming like hardly more than a ghost. She was light, warm, fluffy with delicate pink wings, and black curving horns.
Vendsha was drawn to the presence of her dark angel, and without a whisper of sound had come upon him as he spoke aloud, not knowing she was there. She had smiled at the now familier lines from his favorite book.
For the latter she just shakes her head and flows into his view, "When am I ever angry with you?" Her soft incredibly fine fur rubs against his as she lovingly curls around him like a living cloud.
"Though you know, I don't let you go hungry for long in any case, my angel." her sweet voice was soft and soothing, she knew there were troubled thoughts in his mind and she would chase them away.

(( Gah I'm so sorry. XD;;;; ))
Ayr watches the others dig out the shiny stone from where it was stuck in the riverbed. He shuffled his wings thoughtfully. "There could be many imaginable reasons for why there would be a stone like that in the river. Someone lost it by accident while swimming, someone threw it in on purpose for someone else to find...a gift to a lover thrown away as a promise or in heartbreak. Those are just a few examples."
The great golden brown stallion looks down at the stone a mixture of feelings in his face, and in his eyes a shadow of old memories could be seen.

Ayr goes alittle distance away from the group in the water, then he charges the bank and leaps.
*SPLASH!!!* He gets everyone with the wave he makes. Ayr laughs and splashes about some more like a big colt. After a bit he goes over to look at whatever it was Odil was looking at.
"You see something, Odil?" he asks peering into the waters.

Ayr dips his head, "You're very welcome." he smiled watching her for a moment, he had a feeling that he could very easily grow very fond of her.
When Ethen mentions her mother had taken her to the river, Ayr wondered where he'd been and felt a jab of sorrow that he'd not been around as much as he had wanted to be. He shook it off there was nothing to do about it now except be with her more.
And just about everyone was down for a nap Ayr notices amusedly. Well, it was perfect day for it and the yeyver had been quite filling. The sneeze and giggles of Odil made him chuckle, and he put his nose down to smell the flower too. The flower tickles his velvet soft nose and he laughs alittle. "Silly flower." he says to Odil with a light grin.

Ayr swallows a bite of yeyver before answering Dieava's question. "I've been around for three years since I was a colt. It's changed abit since then, but then again some things about it never change." he shakes his head smiling, "I don't know everything..I don't think anyone does really. But one just has to be prepared for surprises."
He reaches up and picks one for her to eat, being such a tall unicorn made this alot easier for him. Ayr holds it out for Dieava to take. A sort of welcome gift.

Ayr smiles fondly to Odil, "You're very welcome, oh watch out for the blue pits." he says quickly so no one chips a tooth on the hard centers of the yeyvers.
He smiles at his daughter again, he couldn't help it, she was like sunshine to him. Ayr gives Levish a friendly nod and then looks up at the sky himself. The big stallion resettled his huge wings, feeling the need to go flying too, but Dieava and Odil couldn't fly so he'd stay for awhile. "Lovely day for flying isn't it Levish?" Ayr asks conversationally.

Ayr's sensitive ears also pick up the belly rumbling and immediately looks around for some yeyver fruits. He could go for some himself. "Mmmm...anyone hungry? I know I am...should be some yeyver fruit around here somewhere."
The big stallion peers at the trees until he finds one thats got some early fruit. "Aha..best fruit in all the worlds." he walks over to it and picks some ripe ones delicately and holds them out to anyone who wants one.
Odil might not be colorful but she was no less beautiful, besides Ayr himself was in shades of brown too.

Ayr was indeed used to being in charge, but he certainly hadn't meant to upset anyone by doing the introductions. He was just trying to be polite and kind. Though perhaps someone could take him aside and tell him to please let others speak for themselves. ;)
"A very pretty name." he agrees with Ethen. Ayr gives his daughter a playful nudge, aware of her feeling less than comfortable in the present company. She was so much like her mother he thought lovingly.
Ayr dipped his head smiling serenely to encourage the shyer mare to come and join them. He appresiated Dieava's style, it was nice to have another Paint willing to invite others.
The big stallion was aware that the younger stallion, Levish had been left out alittle bit, but he wasn't sure how to change that yet. Ayr hoped the lovely ladies would be able to make Levish feel more welcome.

Ayr grabs the oppertunity to aviod that question whos answer would make him out to be quite old. He was very proud of his children, but at the same time having so many made him feel old sometimes.
Looking over to the exuberant young mare galloping around the field he perked his ears. She had a beautiful smooth chocolate coat, and liquid looking mane and tail. Boy, the Orchard was just overflowing with beauties today! And he'd somehow ended up in the middle!
"Hmm, nope I don't believe I've met her yet." he says quietly to Dieava.
Then he smiles and bows his head to the new arrival, "Sella li, I'm Ayrandan'hala. This is Dieavafaoc'path, Levish'lisen, and Ethen'li'filan." The big stallion indicates each paint with a small motion of his head toward each. "May I enquire as to your name?" Ayr asks gently.

Ayr beams at his daughter, "Ethen!" and he snugs her under his chin for a moment. How his baby had grown up so fast! As they all did. "You look beautiful!" he compliments her softly, he is very proud of his children.
He introduces Dieava to her, "Ethen this is Dieavafaoc'path. Dieava this is my youngest daughter." Ayr chuckles, "I do happen to be one of the ones with alot of family, and they do tend to pop up everywhere like daisys." it is quite obvious that Ayr is happy to see his foal.

Because he was a stallion, Ayr couldn't resist posing alittle, arching his neck and throwing out his chest a bit. Then he flared his giant golden brown wings for a moment before settling back down to normal. "Nope, not at all." he chuckles. "Thanks."
Ayr nods, "It is a nice place, very big really. I understand that...must be strange to be leaving for a new place when you're grown up. I grew up from a colt in my current home so it was alittle easier to get used to." he pauses thoughtfully. "No, not everyone does, a few though. I have family nearby and in all kinds of places, but I know quite a few paints who don't."

He grins, "You can laugh if you like, it won't offend me. I was told that I was supposed to be a filly which is why I got the name and it couldn't be changed once they found out I was a colt. Luckly, Ayr isn't so bad."
Ayr nods having guessed as much, "That is all right though. You're young and have lots of time to explore the worlds around us." the huge stallion had done much the same in his younger days.

He smiles, "Dieava...such a lovely name, it suits you. Unlike my name," here he chuckles, swishing his tail in amusement. "It means Wild Candy Blossom." Ayr didn't seem at all bothered by his name though, he had that confidence which allowed him to carry off anything he wished.
"Your first time here in the Orchard I presume?" Ayr used his horn in a sweeping motion to indicate the Orchard.

Ayr just smiles and dips is head politely, not moving from his spot. He didn't wish to frighten her. "It is a pleasure to meet you Dieavafaoc'path. Call me Ayr it is much easier." ^-^
He gives the blue stallion a polite nod, "Nice to meet you as well."
