Aethria has now gone from closed Alpha testing to open Beta testing in possibly record time - about three weeks from the day we opened! You can now head over to the site and join without any invite code! The site is in active beta testing and still has some glitches and bugs, so be aware of that before joining! The site is pretty advanced for a game in beta testing and has a lot of activities to do. The game is free to play but you can buy perks with premium currency. There are three Lands available within the world of Aethria: Khimeros Caldera, Aluriya and Calligra, with a new land, Merb'y Island, in the works. Each land has a different type of "pet" (we call them companions), different items to collect and different activities. So if you'd like to participate in beta testing, head over to www.aethria.com !

Yep, adulting uses up most of my time too. And tires me out for my non-adulting time so I usually end up reading or watching TV

>.< Yeah, know all about the getting old part, getting all kinds of medical issues, breaking down already! Crazy to think I found the Silver Unicorns way back when I was still in high school I believe (or just after, need to check when I started my website...which is also still there). Now I just got a present for having been at my company for 15 years, and have to remember university was in between XD And yet, the Orchard though quiet still has people popping in now and then, which is pretty cool.

I'm missing The Unicorn Treasury too, will have to hunt that one down.
One series I read years ago was The Unicorn Queen, which is a collaboration of 6 books between 3 or 4 authors. When I first put up my website, people used to ask me all the time how to get their hands on a copy of the series, it was amazing how much interest people had in it. I guess now with ebay and abebooks and other sites people don't need to contact me about them anymore ^.^
There's also Mary Stanton's Unicorns of Balinor. I bought the books because the covers were gorgeous. The series was pretty good too, but it doesn't have a proper ending, like Stanton just outright forgot about the series and never continued it. That was quite disappointing, to invest the time and money and to never get anything resembling a conclusion.
BTW, if you like illustrated unicorn books, anything by Michael Hague. He has a way with making really magical unicorns that aren't just horses with horns on their heads.

I've read the first two Bruce Coville books but it is near impossible to get the fourth so waiting to continue on the off chance I get lucky at a used bookstore one day!
And I love Black Unicorn. I absolutely adored the way Lee described the black unicorn, she made it sound really powerful, and alien, and magical, and majestic.

Talking of unicorns...for some reason this year I've gone back to my childhood and started reading all these unicorn books I'd collected over the years. Like the Firebringer trilogy, or Unicorn Sonata. I have a few more in my to-read list for the rest of the year. Right now reading an anthology of unicorn stories, Immortal Unicorn.

Noooo! Not sharing any Crystals, I was here first! ^__^ But truthfully, the more foals the better!! Hmm, what about some of the older Crystals, Geniu'ma (093) and Zeren'Zybra (201)...which by a completely unintentional quirk are also from Tymena'Heilo. And believe me, it was random, I have a whole list of breedings and I just went through them all and thought these two would be most wonderful of my selected pairings XD Well there was one other but I appear to have not kept the link to the band page Looks like Geniu'ma's link is broken on the Band page, here it is - myth-and-fantasy.com/unicorns/adopt/beach34.html
