Just a heads-up for those of you still using, or really who have ever used, DeviantArt. I found this deviation which puts DA's user agreement into plain English, and parts of it are really rather scary... such as: "deleting" your art from the site does not remove it from DA's archives, and DA can still use it largely however it likes, even though you've technically "left". The link is here: www.deviantart.com/deviation/22141509/You have to click on "download" in order to view the file, as it's in .pdf format. I'd recommend everyone who has been involved in DA read this. It's very enlightening.

Hee hee, baby gerbils are just the cutest things ever, even before their eyes are open! ^__^

That's funny, I'm actually going to Victoria this coming weekend XD It's a romantic trip with the boyfriend, though, so we're not really looking for company ^_^;

*snickers* Yeah, we're definitely not centralized anywhere! I'm up in Canada, in BC. And if people don't know where BC is I will be very sad.
I think it'd be awesome to have a cyberpet-con someday XD

Are you serious?! That's hilarious XD XD
Dunno if anyone here remembers MysticWing from long ago, but she used to work with one of my exes, and now her boyfriend works at the same place as me. Not quite as weird, but still lots of coincidences!

Catz 5?

I never really got into Catz or Dogz, but I was flat-out obsessed with Creatures 2 for a while. I had something like 20 generations of Norns by the time I got bored with it and moved on >_>
I'm not a big fan of the graphics that Catz and Dogz uses, but if I come across a cheap enough copy I might be convinced to give it another try ^_^

Heh, that's like what I wanted to do with my Oquiesa (coincidentally enough, also horse-dog hybrids with big fluffy foot tufts!), but I never had the time.. the training and contests and stuff.

There's about a billion and one equine adoptions out there, so unless you've got something very fresh and new.. ~_^
I know Samanayrs aren't up on your list of uber-popular stuff, but I'll use them as an example anyway XD I've been developing them and adopting them out for years and years now, and over that time they've changed and grown, branched off into new species, etc. My advice is to pick something that you enjoy drawing, and then just focus on them. Develop the species to make it interesting and special. Start small - you don't have to be adopting out giant batches of creatures right away.
Hope that helps somewhat XD

isn't that the one with . . . rolling balls and trying to pick up mushrooms. . . or something? oo;;; Close XD The ball you're rolling is called a Katamari (the full name of the game, Katamari Damaci, apparently means something along the lines of 'ball of souls'), and you get to pick up thousands of different objects. Stuff as small as thumbtacks and ladybugs, to stuff as large as islands, rainbows, and clouds. The more you pick up, the larger your Katamari gets, and the larger your Katamari gets the larger the objects you can pick up. I've gotten to 1400m in We Love Katamari Biiiiig..

This is something you should decide for yourself. What do YOU feel like doing? What do YOU feel you can handle? You don't want to wear yourself out or get tired of drawing just because people are all OMG BILLION. You are the person who should decide your creature availability.
..just my $.02 XD

Has anyone e-mailed her directly to explain (politely) that these images were not hers to take and post? It might help to educate her for future reference.

Apparently I use a Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V6 Extra Fine pen for inking, which I've always used because I used to borrow them from my mum and then just got used to using >_>; It's a nice pen, and the only time I have problems with them is when they're nearing the end of their lives and the ink is starting to run out.
