Same old, same old. I whine about my life in my LJ enough, I suppose.
Blah. One of the things I hate most about being depressed is not being able to do art.. so much I have to do, so little inclination to do it >_<

^^ Everyone deserves to whine sometimes. . . . even if they do it on their ljs, too. . . *Snugs*
*nods* Gads, I hate that. . . especially when you can sit there and stare at a long list of things you're /supposed/ to be doing. . ^^'
Sometimes playing a game or listening to music helps me. . . ^^ *shrugs* I don't know if it would work for anyone else, though.

*shrugs* I've been reading a lot lately (well, more than usual.. gone from a book or two a week to a book or two a day), but then I feel guilty because there's so much I need to do.
Argh. Stupid endless feedback loop things.
Ah well.

*more snuggliness* It's okay to just take a break from things. Even if it's things you need to do. ^^' At least, that's what I think. . .
Ooh! ^^ What have you been reading??
*is an insatiable reader who's almost out of books again* ^^'

I agree that breaks are often necessary.. I just need to enjoy mine and stop feeling so bloody guilty >_<;; That's always my problem.
I've been focusing on rather 'easy' books lately.. things like the Shopaholic series, Stephen King, Bridget Jones.. some cookbooks (to try and inspire me to cook, not working).. light and easy reading.
Have you read the Firebringer series? Most excellent. Think I'll start in on that one when I get home..

Then no more feeling guilty! *likes to pretend it's that easy to do things*
Hmms. . . No, I haven't, but it sounds really familiar! Who's it by?
I just started The Long Walk by Stephen King. I never read his books until someone got me to read the Dark Tower series. . . ^^' lol Now I'm willing to give his other books a chance! lol
I read a /LOT/ of Mercedes Lackey, though. ^^

It's by Meredith Ann Pierce. Unicorns, yay! I remember reading the first book back in daycare when I was 10 or so, and then being amazed years later when I found that it was actually a series.
I rather like The Long Walk.. I'm actually currently reading a Stephen King, The Tommyknockers. One of his longer ones.
Heh, I read a lot of Mercedes Lackey, too.. but I've read all of her Valdemar books so many times that I have to give them a rest for a while.

Hmmmss. . . I'm going to have to try to find that series! ^^ *makes mental note, then goes to write it down*
Yesh, I had a friend send me The Long Walk because she thought it was so good. ^^ hehe
I haven't heard of the Tommyknockers; what's it about?
lol I've read all of the Valdemar books I own at least three times. . . ^^' But there are still quite a few I don't have. . . lol
We also read a lot of manga. . . lol

The blurb on the back of the book reads:
Something was happening in Bobbi Anderson's idyllic small town of Haven, Maine. Soemthing that gave every man, woman, and child in town powers far beyond ordinary mortals. Something that turned the town into a death trap for all outsiders. Something that came from a metal objevt, curied for millennia, that Bobbi accidentally stumbled across. It wasn't that Bobbi and the other good people of Haven had sold their souls to reap the rewards of the most deadly evil this side of hell. It was more like a diabolical takeover.. an invasion of body and soul - and mind..
Cheerful, eh?
Heh, I read a lot of manga too.. can't afford to buy it, so I just devour whatever I can find at the library.
*sets up Amanayr breedings in an attempt to get working on something..*
