They dun 'n gradgeeated me. Whoot. ;D No one tripped during the ceremony, although our class did get glares because we snuck in a beach ball and threw it around during our class song. And speaking in front of large crowds isn't as bad as I thought it would be. *sings* No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks!

Congradumalations. ;D I can't imagine someone throwing a beach ball around during our class song. It was December Rain. That's like one of the saddest songs ever. We wanted It's My Life but it lost by 2 votes to something that SUCKED so bad that we got a re-vote, but couldn't use that one again 'cuz it'd lost before, and DR was the only song out of the ones on the list anyone'd heard of. Ehwell. One more reason to cry when I hear the song... Anyways, we did get glares for the class song itself though... it's like 5 or 7 minutes long. Why'd you have to speak?

Thanks everyone! ^_^;;; *GLEE* Stormelle: I'll send Pega her gift when I get it scanned. She can show you then? Cynther: I can't imagine a sad song for graduation. It just takes all the fun out of it. I don't think any of our class liked the song picked ("Small Town" by someone or other), but at least it was upbeat and short. I'm pretty sure that by the time our song came around, we were all ready just to leave. I had to speak because I was valedictorian... ;

Ohhh, CONGRATS! ;D Only three more years for me, heh. Alas, I have no silly graduation stories as of yet. ^^; But congrats all-the-more, Aylura! And good job being valedictorian!

Valedictorian!? CONGRATS! Lol...you even drew a little thing of yourself...cootyful! I remember going to the graduation...and they had the song from Cheers...if any of you have parents who love watching that I remember the Seniors were so mad...cause really...who wants THAT song? Why can't they just play a short stanza of a song for eery Graduate...thene verybody would be happy?

My class song is Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I rather like it...it's kind of sad but also good.
If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on, now. 'Cause theres too many places I'v gotta see. But if I stayed here with you, girl, things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you cannot change.
*lol* Arriaki if they did that can you imagine how much longer that would make graduation? My class had 192 graduates I really can't imagine them playing different stanzas for every single one of them. XD;; Too complicated...they'd mess up and play the wrong one or something. I voted for a different song but this song won and I think most people liked it. Whats funny is that the guys kept singing the other one during the marching practices. XD

Heh! Figured that's why you had to speak. I was like, 9th or 10th or something. Sorry, couldn't get my GPA _over_ 4.0 like the others. I had somewhere around a 3.9. Pfft. Doesn't matter anymore, anyways. I'm in college and its a good college... that's all I needed. ;D

Woot! Thanks ^_^;
Our class song involved something along the lines of "I was born in a small town and I'm going to die in a small town," which kinda went against most of the plans of our graduating class. By now, most of us just want to get out of a small town. I just don't think a representation of our class should have been that we're stuck in the same place without any opportunity. But, heck, that's what happens.
I personally wanted "Whatever Tomorrow Brings," (Even if it's generic) or that "I wish that I knew what I know now" song.
Yeah... All these GPA's and ranks and such don't really count for anything once we flip the tassels. I just can't wait for college, even if those medals and speeches won't mean a thing there.
