And btw, Lumi, it is okay for her to join Alisha'Ishlansta right? Thank you. ~Nippy Well, Alisha'Ishlansta is her Birth charity actually. ^^ I don't believe(Silv?) there are any rules saying that a paint must leave it's birth charity, so yes if you want her to be in Alisha'Ishlansta she can. I'll just make sure to put a note in her stats so that no one mistakenly tries to breed her with her father. XD; Since there are quite a number of stallions she isn't at all related to, it should be okay. ^_^ *checks the charity rules* Yeah, it's allowed.

Audrey, Snow Drop in Gavanian is Cresla'odil. ^-^
*chuckles* With Paints it's more standard for the kiddos to leave and join other charities, but the rules don't say that they have to.
Alisha'Ishlansta is happy to keep her. ;D
*chuckles* She is adorable.

Arriaki~ The parent's list is here: www.silvanon.com/paintparents8.htmlI forgot again to account for the pickup being in a different directory than the lists. *wry grin* Well, there has been totally white once, when both the parents were totally white. But, I think this is the first time it's resulted from a breeding of two non-all-white parents. The main body color has to be white, which doesn't happen terribly often, and then the body has to be solid, which is recessive, and it can't have a broken mane or tail, and the horn and hooves have to be white. Yeah, it doesn't happen often. Audrey~ I'm glad you like! Lumi~ Yeah, it's funny how the red looks different shades--it was all done with the same pencils. o.O Arriaki~ I'm glad you like the pose! Heh, actually, I call that pose "Trying to fit one huge-o-mungus Niyeva onto a half page of paper." *laughs*

Oh...well...wow.....learning about genese in Biology...my mom lent me her college book so I found this ALL very lovely and fascinating......do you keep track of all the genes and do a punett square or do you just decide on the characteristics? Cause..I never expected red out of Lash and Idal.
Well.....you fit him in very well...I never would have thought you had any trouble fitting him anywhere ;D

I do believe that it is the only pure white paint extended from colored parents. Buris is almost pure white, cept for the brown mane and tail. *chuckles* Maybe your scanner scans red differently for each picture? Or perhaps you colored the red using different techniques without realizing it? *giggles!!* huge-o-mungus! XD It's a good pose for that yup. *grins* Lucky for my Ayrandan'hala that he got to have a whole sheet of paper to himself, he'd never be squished onto anything smaller!

Arriaki ~ I do keep track of all the genes. I don't do squares, I just roll a die. 1, 2 or 3 means the baby inherites the dominante gene, 4, 5, or 6 means the recessive gene gets passed on. I wanted a bit more color variation than what normal genetics allow, so on those I actually have a system where the baby can inherit colors directly from it's grandparents. Also, even if it inherits just it's parent's colors, they have either hidden fantasy or hidden normal colors that might be expressed in the baby. The red in Lash and Idal's baby was actually inherited from Valiflis, Idal's father, the foals paternal grandfather. Valiflis himself is normal colored and so shows his dark brown gene. But, he had a hidden red gene that's showing in his grandfoal now! The bay-pink for the foal's mane & tail were inherited from Alisha'ralin, the paternal grandmother. She had the bay-pink as a hidden gene. It's much more common for a foal to inherit it's colors from it's parents, rather than drawing from it's grandparents, so that's a bit of a rarity there, too. If you're interested in my system, you can learn more about it at www.silvanon.com/paintinfo.html

WOW! That would be a whole lot of info to keep track of! good grief! It's almost like you have made it a career with all the effort you put into it!
That is cool that he inherited from his grandparents...that's always fun to get out those hidden genes....*claps hands delightedly*
NOW! I'm off to read the info
