Wow... graduated from l'universite', eh? I'm starting next year... weeird, huh? I want to go to SUU (Southern Utah University) IT's a nice cozy little campus with a good education program and art and english and even veterinary science if I decide against that. ^^

Cool cool!!! ^.^ Go for it! College is definately worth all of the hard work. (though you won't think that while you're in it. ~LOL~) But afterwards... I'm very glad I made it... and even more glad that I'm USING it! ^.^
Now I do my job.... and mostly paint model horses. ^.^ It's a good business. slow right now... but I generally make good money at it. ^.^
::yawns:: I may not be long for this world... sooo tired...

Painting model horses... I do for fun. It's a job (cause I get paid for them when I auction them off, or people comission me for them.) The cost depends on the size. I mostly do small (called Stablemates by Breyer) horses... but my most recent one... Rimfire... is Traditional. That's the biggest size. I think I paid $150 for the resin (not breyer... he's an artist piece) and I got him unpainted. So I then painted him... into this: community.webshots.com/photo/180198829/221417655HyKtSwHe's different now... still working on him. But *IF* I were to sell him... I'd try to get $300 at least. Though it all depends on the market, ebay etc. ^.^ But I what I do for a job is... complicated. ^.^ We have digital paintings, which my co worker and I then 'paint' with clear acrylic medium. We give them the illusion of being real paintings. ^.^ My art degree at work! |
