My whole tripod website got deleted, I found out only a few moments ago. Everything that I had on that site since 2001 is now gone, for good. Because stupid me didn't backup when I had the chance. To quote the error page I got 'Please Note: You are no longer an authorized member of Tripod. You have been removed because your web site violated our Terms of Service or you chose to self-delete.' And... and...

*breaks down crying* I don't need this right now. I'm going through a really stressful time in my life and I just can't take this. I should go email tripod or something as soon as I have my emotions under control.

Oh, and if I've ever adopted from you in the past, please post whatever information you have on the critter I adopted. I'll try and dig through my old records, thank god the imac is still in working condition, to put things back together. Also if you've adopted a Kyuuvi please reply as well, I lost all of the Kyuuvi information as well.

I feel a lot calmer now, but it is terrifing (at least for me) to see my site just disappear like that, sort of like watching my house go up in flames. I just got an email from Tripod - my website has been reinstated. Now here comes the reall fun part. I'm going to go through my tripod site today, tonight and tomorrow backing up, and deleted, all of the pages and images. By the weekend my Tripod website should be nearly gone completely. And if I've adopted from you please let me know how soon you'll need the URLs of the critters I adopted, it might take a while. My mom is leaving for several weeks this September and that should be a prime time to do this if it can wait.

As it is I'm going to pull everything off my tripod and transfer it to my borealvisions site like I've planned to for months. stupid tripod. *sighs*

Great that they reinstated your site, and good that you are backing up things! Having the only copies of things online is very dangerous, even if you aren't dealing with the idiots at Tripod. Someday, all my web sites will be on my own domain... *glares at Tripod and their evil pop up ads of doom*
