Animal Crossing is a good GC game. ^^ I really enjoy mine. . . when it's not in the States and I'm in Japan. Oo My townsppl are going to be hacked! ^^; lol Let'see. . . I heard Zelda turned out fantastic. I still hate the style of Windwaker, but I've been told the story more than makes up for it. Hrms. . if you like "scary" silly thing, Luigi's Haunted Hause. I've only played a demo, and I hate things that pop out and scare me. *ish a wuss* But it looked pretty nice. ^^ Super Mario Sunshine is also a real kick. Tho. . . hard. :/ I randomly forget how much platformers get on my nerves unless I'm in the mood for them. HEHE Let'see. . . . I personally don't suggest Lost Kingdoms, but it is one of the first RPGs for GC. I hated it. My husband likes it. Gabe loves it. *shrugs* I'd try renting it first. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is also pretty good. . . but, honestly, it gets REALLY hard when you enter year 2 or 3. However, it is muchly mucho fun to get some eally buff characters and play them in someone else's beginners game. ^^ hehe It's also a real kick on a multi-player level. I bet we have more, but I can't think of them right now. ^^ Hope you find some good ones! :: edit :: fixed game title. doit, sera.

yes, the Zelda was great, as are the Mario ones. I also like Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and Spyro the dragon.

I hear Pikman is super fun as well. And there might be a Monster Rancher out for Game Cube - those games have been fun in the past.

Metal Gear Solid is frikkin' awesome. *_* Honestly, I forgot is it's rated for Teens or Mature... Er, despite the rating, it's one of the best games ever made. Some time in your life, play it, whether it's the original or some of the sequels. ^_^; Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven is pretty addictive. ^_^ I think that's Teen. I kinda don't really look at the ratings anymore, so you may want to...not take my recommendations. XD;; If you like silly RPG games, then play Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. It's my guilty pleasure. XD; PS is where all the RPG's are at, though. I don't have any really good things to say about most RPG's on GC. <_<; I'm more of a PS/PC-gamer, though, because I kinda got upset with Nintendo for their choice in game styles. e_e That and they sold RARE. HOW COULD THEY. @_@ ... Er-hem. ^^; ...Windwaker's style was a big disappointment to me, and when it came out, I sold my GC for a PS2. XD I've heard great things about the game, though, so I'd recommend it. ^_^ Also, keep your eyes peeled. A new Zelda, made in a more dark and realistic style, is coming out soon. XD ...I now regret selling my Cube. U_U -is such a nerd- XD <3

My husband went through our stuff and says that good RPGs for the Game Cube are Skies of Arcadia Legends and Evolution Worlds.

Skies of Arcadia has regularly listed as one of the greatest RPGs on earth for. . . like ever. lol I've wanted to get it on Dreamcast since I first learned of it.
Of course, Sera's cheap and didn't want to spend 30$ on a DC game.. . hehe ^^;
But yah, it's still supposed to be awesome. ^^

Never played gamecube or any of its games, but if I got one I'd check out Super Smash Bros. Melee, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Pikmin, and Baten Kaitos. And all the games everyone recommended. It's been so long since I've played a video game XD; *envies* *kicks sibling for hogging the PS2*

My personal opinion, if you never get anything else you've gotta get Skies of Arcadia Legends and Super Smash Brothers Melee. Not that I'm too well-versed in GC games, but Skies of Arcadea was the only game that kept my attention all through it and I loved it obssessively (Zeldas are fun but I never finished any of them... They get kinda monotonous.) The Nintendo thingies like Pikmin I didn't like, 'cause they're not really engaging - just puzzley things. But SSBM - everybody has that And it really is a lot of fun if you know how to play. Best multiplayer choice to start with, I think. Plus if you've ever played any other Nintendo things it's lotsa fun to meet the characters again ^^!!! If you just want to sit down and... well, literally live a life I guess... Animal Crossing is interesting. It can be addicting for a while. I think it's better if you have siblings thought; it's easier to play when you're competing ^^ You can have four people per town. My sibs play Harvest Moon, it's also a live-out-your-life kinda thing, and they like it okay (not sure why; haven't watched much). I'd get Animal Crossing before that, though. But first I'd go with the first two I mentioned! (and other people mentioned before me) Definitely

I only own an N64 but it suits me. However, I have a close friend who owns an N64, a PS2, an X-box, and a Gamecube so I'm kind of familar with a few games.
I despise the style of Windwaker (Cel...ug) but I've heard it's a great play. I liked the N64 versions of Zelda anyway...and a new Zelda game is coming out for GameCube so keep your eyes open. It looks like you'll be able to battle on horseback (I hope Epona...) so yeah...it just looks really sweet. ^_^
I agree with RG, Super Smash Bros Melee is addictive and fun. At least, I think so. SSB and SSBM are two of my favorite games.
Harvest Moon I've watched played and it was actually kind of interesting. It looks like a fun little thing to do when you don't feel like beating things up. I'd like to try my hand at it anyway.

Go Gamecube! ^_^ You have one cool dad. Humm... for games I'd say go pick up ANY of the Legend of Zelda titles - some are promo discs so you'd have to look on ebay, and Four Swords adventures is designed to be played with a gameboy, so I'm guessing Wind Waker is the way to go until the next Zelda game comes out this June. FYI - don't let the cell-shading in Wind Waker fool you, it hides one AWESOME game. Prince of Persia comes to mind as well, not Warrior Within(gods that one is hard), but Sands of Time is good. (of course it is rated teen, but I never really noticed much, except for the *ahem* 'suggested' sex scene near the end.) Skies of Arcadia Legends - *worship* Beautiful, amazing game. Wonderful place to start, if you can find it... Took forever to get my copy off ebay, of course I don't live close to any stores like EBGames. Pikmen - hard to place this game, I thought it was fun but it is hard. Those little guys are hypnotic. Ooo!Ooo! Yu-Gi-Oh! - The Flasebound Kingdom was a good game. *marks off list* Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion... It you want to take a stab at fighting games Soul Calibur 2 is a must - it has Link (from Legend of Zelda) in it! *fangirls* Vexx is anothing good one - never finished it, but I had fun playing it. I liked Lost Kingdoms, however I got bored playing Lost Kingdoms 2. The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings games were also surprizingly good. Hum... what else... I'll get back to you if I think of anymore. ^_^ Oh yeah! I do believe Summoner 2 - Goddess Reborn came out on the gamecube, but I'm not sure. That was also a good one. And Star Fox Adventures is another one, the last game Rare maded for the GC in fact. And that's all I can think of - have fun playing, Gamecubes are great. ^_^

Jippers! Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'll look into them ;D
I rented the Zelda Wind Waker and so far I'm loveing it, though it is a bit hard since I'm a PC gamer and I've rarely played a video game. But practice makes perfect! Inculding I get a kick out of throwing the island pigs out into the sea ;D
