Three Paints

[kislah]

Dow laughs at her last comment. "Kislah is much like that as well, that is why it's taking her -so- long to move around. Sunlight is my favorite, though a mare inmy realm loves the rain. I hate rain. Dulls the coat, you know..." he says, joking. "So are there many others in your realm?" he asks.

[Lumi]

Ayr laughs, "So it would seem to be, Vye...a small world indeed. Though most times it seems to happen this way, friends' children meet each other and in turn become friends. *chuckles* I guess it's the way it's meant to be."

Teli beams, "She is wonderful, I hope you two get to meet each other sometime. I think it would be alot of fun if we all got together." He flips his mane over to the other side of his neck. "So what have you been upto since we talked to each other last?"

[Dyani]

Vye sighs and looks aroud at all the Paints surrounding him. So much had changed! Everyone continued to grow, all of his old friends now had many foals of their own...he laughs to himself and voices his thoughts to Ayr.

Lisen flicks her ears and thinks. "Hmmm," she says, "Nothing ever really seems to happen in my realm...it's so boring." She sighs and looks around at the Orchard, and then back at Teli. "It's so much more interesting here!"

Yia looks down. "No, the only other Paints on K'chondra are Vye and Lisen. Dyani used to have another Paint named Tey'Lasha, but she was readopted. She was my mother...Dyani has long hoped for others. That's why she entered me in the Challenge." She looks back up at him. "Speaking of which, did you enter it?"

[Lumi]

Ayr chuckles, "Yes, we never would of guesseed things would eventually turn out this way when we were foals eh Vye? What dreams we had then...were full of play."

Teli tilts his head, "Oh surely not...plenty of things must happen at home...you just don't think about them perhaps. But agreed this place is very interesting." Teli looks around at the life everywhere. "Look at all the different creatures here now aside from just us paints." He peers at the melceys off in the distance.

[Dyani]

Vye swishs his tail. "Remember when Mil, Fali, and I tried to rescue some fruit from a tree?" He grins. "Neither Yia nor I would be here today if you hadn't shown up!"

"I suppose you're right," Lisen concedes. "Exploring with Wind is always fun. Oletko..." she blushes. "I mean are you (that's what I mean) interested in exploring?"

[Lumi]

Ayr nods his head, "Yes I remember...it was just after I had finally grown. I saved you all from falling and getting hurt. I remember that you were upset that I had grown already and you had not."

Teli nods, "Sure I like to explore some. Maybe not as much as I like listening to stories and such, but exploring the canyans is always fun."

[kislah]

"I didn't, but a Realm-mate of mine did...Veanti'ala. He recently formed a new charity, and we all urged him to go, to impress the mares, you know." he laughs. "he didn't want to, really...he said I should go, because I'm the oldest one there, but I don't usualy go for that sort of thing." he shrugs. "Veanti found the hidden form though, so we are all very, very excited about the possibility of a new paint joining our Realm, though the chances are slim." he chuckles.

"Sometimes less is more...you would not believe the racket the others in my realm make." he shakes his head, grining ruefully.

[Dyani]

Vye grins at that. "Yes, I was upset when all of you grew. I felt so left out...but now even I tower over Mil and Fali. Though perhaps not you, Ayr." He winks.

"You like kerros--I mean stories?" Lisen asks, again stumbling over her words. "You should talk to Wind some time. He's a Frondari...he knows all kinds of myths about lost civilizations and stuff. That's why we go exploring together so often; we want to find them." When she talks so fast, one can notice a strange, half-hidden accent in her voice.

Yia nods. "The chances are quite slim for us as well." She chuckles quietly to herself. "Random forms don't seem to like very much, and quite a few Paints solved it...But Dyani says that the three of us are enough of a handful already." She makes an innocent face. "Though I have no idea why she'd say that!"

[Lumi]

Ayr grins, "Yeah, we definitely tower over Fali and Mil now. Not that that bothers them a bit." *chuckles* "Fali can still beat our tails at racing and wild antics."

Teli tilts his head wondering what this language she kept slipping into was. "He certainly sounds interesting, perhaps I'll be lucky enough to meet him someday. Hey what is that other language you keep slipping into?" He asks curious.

[Dyani]

Vye shakes out him mane and looks out towards the lake. "Speaking of racing, do you want to race me down to the lake?" He grins at Ayr.

"He comes to the Orchard sometimes, though not very often. He had a few bad experinces." From the tone of Lisen's voice, you can tell she doesn't want to say any more on the subject.

""Hey what is that other language you keep slipping into?" He asks curious."

Lisen looks slightly proud. "Se on suomea...it's Finnish. Dyani signed for me when she was in Finland, and for some reason I recieved the ability to speak in that language."

[Lumi]

Ayr laughs, "Sure Vye. Let me know when you get there!" he grins and starts trotting away from Vye at a playful pace meant for Vye to catch upto before Ayr goes into a full blown gallop.

Teli looks saddened by that. "I'm sorry to hear that." Then he chuckles, "Wow, Finnish? That is cool. Could you teach me some?" He asks eagarly, he really wanted to learn alittle bit of Finnish, it would be fun to confuse the others with at home.

[Dyani]

"Ha!" Vye begins to gallop after Ayr. There is a bush ahead of him; he kicks off with his powerful hind legs and leaps over it. He's slightly ahead of Ayr now, but who knows how long that will last...

Lisen thinks. "Well, your name in Finnish is Pikkuinen'Lehti. And 'sinulla on kauniit silmät' means 'you have beautiful eyes'." She laughs. "What else do you want to know?"

[Dyani]

*bump*
Lumi? Where are you?

Ayr grins and starts galloping easily pulling up even with Vye. "Come on Vye you're going to have to do better than that!" He crows playfully at his friend.

Teli grins, "Cool!" He practices on Lisen,"Sinulla on kauniit silmät, Lisen." Smiling he thinks about what else he'd want to know. "How about the stars are beautiful tonight?"

[Dyani]

Vye lowers his ears and charges faster with a growl. He seems to be gaining on Ayr when suddenly (of course) he trips on a clump of grass. Poor Vye. ;D

"That would be 'tähdet ovat kauniita tänä yönä.'" Lisen says. Then she notices Vye and Ayr racing. "Hey, what's going on over...oops!" She starts trotting forward to see if Vye needs any help.
