He lunged forward at the same time, he was partially blinded by the light but didn't need it to know where the serpent was, He could smell and hear it well enough to know where it was. His claws moved fast, aided by the fact that he did not have as bulky scales as most dragons did, The instant he grabbed hold of it, not caring where. He Clamped down hard with his claws, then grabbed it with his teeth aswell and attempted to rend it in two.

The serpants cry of pain echoed across the few empty achers. As the serpant lay there stil it's eyes glanced back at the babie. The dragon squilled with delight, " Gone! Bye Bye! " she racked her claws in the air as if waving.

He opened his mouth and let go of that part which he was holding, letting it drop to the ground, making sure to give a bone cracking twist where he had grabbed it with his hand to make sure it wouldn't move after letting go...
Looking back over to the baby dragon he grinned in his attempting to look nice way "Well, I guess you'll have one less thing to worry about..." he says while still wondering why this kid was out here...

He sighed, Yawning was rather contagious and he is rather susceptible to this sort of thing, much more affective than most sleep spells people try to use on him "Do you know where your parents may have gone to?" he asked as he rubbed one of his eyes Idly trying to chase off the urge to yawn like the young dragon had.

He sighed, knowing that there was no avoiding the fact that he now had to yawn aswell, yawning rather widely, showing off his very sharp and precise looking teeth he flopped down onto his side next to the small dragon, releasing a small sigh "So where do you want to sleep then?" he asked with a shrug, he doubted the small den that she had come out of would fit him... Sleeping out in the rain again it seemed.

He looked up and blinked, It was rather surprising to see the place open up to that size, but he shrugged and rather than getting up to go in, flops and twists while still laying on his side over into the cave. "You didn't dig all this out did you?" he asks as he looks around at it.

He grins "Ah, well it beats sitting out in the rain..." he says then reaches over and pulls her over next to him, making sure to use his palm rather than claws to move her "My name is Lacanar, what's yours?" he asks with a chuckle, realizing he had never mentioned it.

From her perch in a great tanbark tree, a feline watches the young dragon sitting at the mouth of the cave, her iceblue eyes fixed. Purring slightly, she finds a foot hold and pads carefully along the large branch, bringing the creature closer.
