It was a bright, happy sunshine-y day (( for now! *dundunduuunnnn!!!!!* )), and the path wove gently down the mountain/through the trees. (( sera has forgotten where they are. )) It wasn't too long before there was the sound of mental voices (( that is totally an oxymoron. )); and they perhaps didn't sound too pleased with each other.
Please? it was a low, masculine voice, with a strange quality, slightly hoarse and edged with some great pain or fear.
No! the response was high and feminine as sounds of struggles accompanied a short, high cry.

Reboot blinked at the voices and hurried down the path until the owners of the voices came into view.
*Pardon the intrusion,* he said, watching his tone, and eying the pair to see what was going on. *Is everyone all right?*

Reboot's entrance froze the two Naa, the mare a familiar coopery colour, both sets of her wings flared in distress as the larger, dull grey form of the stallion pressed close beside her, fangs sunk deeply into neck as two lines of crimson began to dribble from the wound. Bismark followed after the Glacial stallion with detached curiousity, stopping along side the other. A hint of his astonishment radiated off of him at the sight of. . . wot? An attack? A feeding? The pair seemed just as surprised to see them as Bismark knew he was to see this.

Reboot cocked his head to the side at the scene before him. Well, this was nine shades of twisted, as the Rabbit would say.
As for what Reboot would say, well. There was a question and a puzzle, wasn't it? He didn't know these naa, so he couldn't really admonish them for their strange behavior. After all, some naa liked that sort of thing. >_>; Who knew?
So, he ammended his first question and repeated it. *Is everything all right?* he asked.

Oh, the dual element said quietly. Hello. She seemed to have missed Reboot's question because she answered with her own. May we help you with something?
Well, alright, that answered one question for Bismark. They were obviously here together and on purpose.
The vampiric Naa carefully released the mare, hesitating as his nosrils flared at the scent of her blood, then he swiftly retreated into the surrounding trees. The Chaotic Fantasy Naa didn't seem to notice as coppery eyes blinked again. Reboot! she suddenly exclaimed, only just recognizing one of the members of her father's I'er. Honestly, she hadn't been around that I'er in quite awhile. ^^;;; Reboot might have some trouble remembering her as well; they had never really interacted before. Her neck twitched slightly at the thin runs of blood.

Reboot had just been about to explain that there'd been sounds of a struggle and etc etc when the female called out his name. Well, she looked familiar, but that was because she looked like Xöl... Putting two and two together, he went *Yes?* and blinked in confusion. He stared a little longer and went, *This is going to sound a bit... /odd/. But you're not one of Xölr'ayn's, are you?* He shifted his weight uneasily, sorry that somedays he couldn't remember names of acquaintances.

Of course I am, the mare replied, fairly bubbling over with cheerfullness and good will. I'm Xoliten *S'real*. She didn't seem in the least bit perturbed that he hadn't really remembered her. How's the Ier? She suddenly realized she hadn't been by to see her father in quite the while.
Bismark's expression went bemused at this sudden move from wary hostility to open friendliness, though it smacked of deceit to him. Perhaps she was trying to protect that Vampire Naa? He briefly wondered if it was a dangerous relationship for her; she seemed very gentle and laid back. Not that appearances couldn't be deceiving themselves.

*Ah,* Reboot said, noting her name and trying to make it stay. He wasn't too good with names somedays. *The ier? It's good. Very good, actually. And you? You're doing well?* he hoped.
He felt so enormously awkward at the shift in conversation mood. It rubbed him badly, and he couldn't stop from letting his eyes stray over to the fangy naa. *And won't you introduce your friend?*

There are ups and downs, S'real replied candidly, tucking her draconic wings in across her body as she inspected the other Naa curiously. The large blue stallion clicked something she'd heard, some news they had discovered in their travels, but she couldn't recall quite wot it was just then. She blinked at reboot then her ears flicked backwards. Oh! Yes, of course. Almost too softly to be heard, she added, If he'll come out. There was a note of old exasperation in those words. A silent exchange occurred between the pair and the grey stallion twisted his head around to peer out of his undamaged right eye. He didn't seem pleased about their new acquaintances, but, finally, he shuffled out of the bushes, large wings tucked tightly along his back and long, serpentine tail pulled close to his body. He moved beside S'real, on the far side of her lean body, head still craned oddly at a decidedly uncomfortable angel to continue to stare at the other Naa silently. S'real gave him a prompting glance, even a nudge with her shoulder, but he wouldn't say a word. She gave a small sigh. This is *Bishen* Layleyly. He continued to stare.

*It's good to make both of your acquaintances, Bishen, S'real* Reboot said, not unkindly, watching the pale naa carefully, but in a friendly manner. *Well, umm.* he said after a moment, trying to think of some way to continue the conversation. *We were just stopping through. As long as everything is all right...?* He looked for confirmation from one or the other of them. This was such an awkward situation, he'd probably be glad to be rid of it.

Rain had been watching the exchange with an air of indifference. It looked perfectly normal to her, and that was strange indeed. I am Rain by the way. she said, wondering if anyone had even noticed her.

Greetings, Rain, S'real put in cheerfully. Where are you off to? The question was put to the group as a whole rather than just one Naa.
Bismark still wasn't pleased with this pair; they set off confused signals within him. He almost wished that annoying Kaigaihen stallion was here; he had a feeling Solearth would know more about this situation than this pair was letting on. Of course, he was also still greatly out of the loop of normal Naa behaviour. But Reboot and Rain weren't acting like these two. Why did everything have to be so stinkin' difficult?

*Tuneup time,* Reboot said, lifting his prosthetic leg. (OF DROOLYNESS *DROOOOOL*) *I asked the other two to come along until they got bored, since I like the company.* He smiled softly, watching Bishen carefully. He was quiet, but a different sort of quiet than the blue stallion that was walking with him. It felt a bit weird, but Reboot just figured, well, there's some weirdos out there. Big deal.

Are you going back to Hawkings Crest for it? S'real inquired excitedly, turning to glance back at Bishen with the same enthusiasm sparking off of her. We haven't seen Sera in ages!
The grey stallion regarded her uneasily, gaze glancing back to the trio just short of the woods. His strange tufts swept backwards and he obviously didn't want to go with them.
