"What's what?" The faun cried pulling out long rusty dagger. (which had never been sharpened since he "relieved" it from it's previous owner).
While Moonsong pulled out a leather slingshot and loaded it with a smooth round pepple and dispite the other fairies trying to push her to safty; Moonsong was not going let Inferno face this sudden danger alone.
With a flash she rushed past the others and over a yelling Pallo.
"Moonsong don't!" He gasped leaping into the air trying to garb the charging Lesser with his free hand. He missed and almost crushed Jeemo with his cloven hooves.

Inferno looked back at them his eyes where glowing orange and putting his hand out he created a barrer that Moonsong and none of them could get by, " Tell Sunstar i'll try to make it back." he yelled at BlackFlame.
BlackFlame's eyes where sad but he nodded, " come we must go.' he said to the others.
Inferno smiled slightly his eyes still glowing but then while the barrer was still up he turned and yelling something that could not be heard by the others because the barrer alseo kept out sound, he shot a large ball of flame at the creature and when the light fadded Inferno and the creature where gone.

"But - but wait!" sputtered Jeemo, bewildered. She stumbled after Pallo. "Wait, what's going on? What's Sunstar doing? Annie! Where'd you go??"

"Inferno!" Moonsong shouted seeing him suddenly disapear in bright flash of fire. "Infer-"
The Lesser's cry was suddenly cut off as she smacked right into the magical barrior. (Much like a bird does when in flies into a glass window) and fell to the ground.
"Nuhh...."She groaned stuned but not seriously hurt.

Sunstar's eyes where full of tears, " Inferno!" she shouted and feel to her knees crying. BlackFlame knelt next to his sister and rapped one arm around her sholder.
" Come on now sister or Inferno's sacrafice may be in vain." both stood at this point and joining hands while facing eachother they began to mutter something.
As their words grew louder the light that had begun to shine ingulfed all of the fairies new found friends.
When the light fadded they where no longer in the forest and none of them where in their larger size. " This is our home." BlackFlame said sweeping his hand around so a light iluminated the dark tree.
" My children!" came a high pitched cry from above them. " BlackFlam Sunstar!" said a slightly purple colored fairy who hugged both of her children after she flew down to meet them. " Sunstar. Dear what''s..?"
BlackFlanme shook his head as if to say 'not now'. His mother fell silent. " Well you've brought friends. Nice to meet you, I'm Queen Finalala." she said with a small curstsy.

Annie suddenly popped back into existence hovering near Sunstar's shoulder. Her normally cool blue glow was tinged a faint red and her fists were clenched furiously.
Mad enough to spit, she ignored Jeemo's happy yelps to see her again and stamped her tiny foot in midair. "I want to know what just happened and I want to know now!!"

Pallo let out a shriek and covered his eyes from the sudden blinding light.
"Pallo?" He heard heard Moonsong's voice and uncovering his eyes and blinking for a moment the faun looked around noticing that he and his friends were not longer in the forest. And there was something different about his companions.
"Moonsong," He said turning to his Lesser. "Where are...say you've gotten bigger! Or I've gotten smaller?"

" Now now dear no need to be rude. Sunstar and BlackFlame have brought you to our home. I am their mother." said the queen dirceting it tworeds Annie.
" I'm going to go to bed." said Sunstar suddenly and with that she opened her wigns and flew into the place her mother had just left.

Annie let out a little strangled shriek of anger. "Does no one else seem to think it important to discuss what just happened with Inferno?? What is with you people?? Where I come from, something like this would be something of a big deal!!"
Jeemo cringed, looking worried. "Oh, no. Now she's angry."

Moonsong ran to her side leaving a still very confused faun.
"Yes, I like to know too!" The Lesser cried though she was much calmer then Jeemo. "What has happen to him?"

The Queen glanced at her daughter as she disappeared, That is something only the king can explain." she said. " Come we shall take the stairs as not all of us can fly." BlackFlame led the way followed by his moterh and then the others.

ANd behind them Moonsong and Pallo.
"What have we gotten ourselves into now..." He muttered shakeing his head. "I mean look at me! I'm Pallo Balleny the action figure doll!"
