"Me, too!" the mare exclaimed with sudden enthusiasm. She promptly dropped to the ground and rolled in the snow vigorously. "Brr! It's cold! Fantastic!"

"Nice to meet you" Emerl'sha lowered his head for a moment, amused. "What sort of something else did you think that we were?" Eyes glittering, he stuck his head into the drift of snow previously caused by his tumbling in, and tossed it all over the mare on the ground. Hoping that she would take it in the right (or possibly the wrong way) he playfully danced to the side, more or less inviting her, and the other stallion, to chase after him.  (OOC Oh Yes! Thank you - I missed that there was another post :0) He is AMAZING, isn't he? |

Garama peeked out from under a pile of snow. "Snow ferrets, of course." With a sudden panicked look, she shot to her feet, spraying snow everywhere. "Oy, I didn't even think! They could be hiding under the snow laying in wait!"

Without thinking, Emerl'sha threw himself up too - rearing high, ready to pierce the danger with his horn. One moment he stod frozen, horn glimmering, blue-tinted mane stirred by the wind, nostrils wide... Then his critical thinking started to kick in. "Snow ferrets?" Giving the other stallion a rather sheepish grin he placed his front hooves firmly on the ground again. Yah know, it doesn't show up when I'm reading, but while I'm posting this, it does.... Weird...
BIC: "Snow ferrets?" repeated Dol. "Are they dangerous?"
He was extremely puzzled by the mare. What in the world were snow ferrets? He caught Emerl'sha's sheepish look and grinned himself.

"Well, they're more dangerous than regular ferrets, that's for sure," Garama replied seriously, scowling at the snow suspiciously, as though expecting the ground to erupt teeming with sharp-toothed vermin at any moment. "They have thicker fur. And sharper teeth. And they're always cold, so they're crankier."

Dol almost laughed aloud, but he kept it to a grin at Emerl'sha. Then he asked, "What do they look like? So we know if any come at us," he added hastily, hoping the Emerl'sha wouldn't notice he was actually interested in weird stuff like this.

If Garama knew she was being teased, she certainly didn't show it. She frowned a bit. "Well, I think they're pretty big. And furry. Umm... and white."
She blinked. "You know, I've never seen you."

Dol just stared. He was confused. Really confused.
"Ah.... anybody like snow cones? I know some awesome berry combinations for amazing flavors." He wondered if he changed the subject, they wouldn't be so confused.

Dol nodded enthusistically. He had finally gotten through to the mare.
"Yep. Blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, cherry, and - my personal favorite - snowberry. Or any other berry or fruit that grows with a mile of here." He snorted and pranced, excited. He hadn't had snow cones in a long time.

"Oh, goodness, no. Snowberries would only attract the snow ferrets," Garama returned, looking worried. Her eyes glazed over again. "Blueberry, on the other hand... ferrets don't like blueberry."
