OOC: This rp was actualy inspired by an rp at another board. Anyway, what I'm going for is something like this: In the rp you'll explain that you, your humanself gets up dose whatever and then goes to the computer and types silvanon.proboards12.com into the adress area then press enter. When you get to the home page you type in your user name and log in. When you log in you actualy go into the orhcard AS your character. IC: I flipped boredly throught the favorites list on my computer and then selected The Orchard. Typing in my user name and password I pressed log in. I stumbeled on the ground hearing the clip, clop of hooves I looked down. My eyes widdened, " Hooves? Me?" I said stunned and slightly frightened. "Gah! What the?!?" I stood up on all fours my legs wabbeling, after all I was only used to walking on two legs normaly. Turned my head to see two wings prodtruding from my back. I thought, the right wing opened half way. " Dude!!"

I was really quite board of the whole studying for finals-thing. No one was doing it anyways, so I stumbled out of my dorm room into the crampedness of Juniper Hall. Of course, I could try the Boys down in C-200 for some amusement, but when last I'd visited, they seemed quite absorbed in Douglas' computer. All three of them. Oh, well. And so I sauntered past the bathroom and lazily strolled into the "Study" Room. After pausing to check my e~mail, and wishing for some sort of messenger to idle my time away in, I typed in the familiar old adress: silvanon.proboards12.com. Only the first time I forgot the "12." Dangit. So again I typed away. This time, something besides an error screen happened. I felt a funny tickling sensation in the back of my stomach, and then a strange, almost painful compression and total darkness... until... I opened my eyes. Lush trees surrounded me; Oaks, birches, plum, pear... you name it! All around me! This was not Juniper. Well, there might be a few juniper...s, but not a single building in sight. The whole thing was totally wigging me out, and then... a voice. "Duude!" I knew that voice! I looked towards the sound and what to my wandering eyes did appear.... but a eye-boggling winged black creature with a spiraling horn. Gold stars bespeckled its eyes, and a fluffy mane accented its surprised expression. "Stormie?! Well, then I wonder..." I looked down (a curious experience in itself), and again my eyes were twice as surprised! Hooves, had I, and golden ones too! Accented by only the most lovely long fur. It was not by chance that I recognised those hooves... why, I'd drawn them ten thousands of times in all truth! I was looking at Pega... and so I was her! It really, truly, seemed to be true! I couldn't help but laugh at Stormelle's confusion then! What a funny, strange dream I must have been in! (OOC: I'm totally rhyming it up. XD It's quite fun.) ((HUZZAH!))

Turning toward the nosie of another I felt my ears pric forward in excitment. "Pega!" I said spotting my sister, er well her character more or less. Trying to run over to her, valent efort thought it was I stumbeled once or twice. I reached Pega, I blew my bangs out of my face. I wasn't used to having such lively and luffy hair, er...Well fullfy and silver white hair anways. " Heya sis!" I said grinning up at her. My blue green eyes shinning playfuly like the little shild I could be if I truly wanted to. I shook my head back and forth loving the feel of the fluffiness and lightness of the mane that bounced back and fourth.

I was bored as usual and my daughter was still sleeping in her crib so I though what the hey lets see whats going on at the orchard. So I started to type silvanon. and as usual it popped up in my address bar so I tapped the down key and hit enter. Suddenly I had a strange feeling come over me, like all of my emotions were draining away and I was left cold and emotionless inside, then I blacked out.
When I came to my head was hurting and as I looked around nothing was familiar. Trees everywhere and as she lifted her hand to her head she felt no hair, just fur and big ears? My eyes grew wide and I slowly looked at my legs...they were covered in spotted orange fur and all I was wearing was a loin cloth...and then suddenly it dawned on me...I had become Jag. I just stood there dumb founded and not knowing what to do.
"You could at least say hi to your sister Jaguara..." a kind and sweet voice came from behind me. I turned and looked into the eyes of Nuala, Jag's twin sister. Her blue eyes sparkled with a kindness that I had only imagined.
"Well?" she stood there with her hands on her hips. "Umm...hi Nuala..." was all I could muster. I was strange, I felt no love for her, no feelings what so ever...

Uuhhh... rubbing my aching temples I rose stiffly. My neck all cramped too. Only to be expected after this bout of studying. Why do I never learn?!
Walking to the window I stared out into the dark. Allmost all the windows were dark, except for maybe some christmas ornaments. People were asleep. And there was no snow... At least in a little more than a week I'd be going up north for christmas...
Oh, well... no more studying for tonight. I turned to shut down my computer, and then hesitated.... Oh all right, go on. it is so late anyway it won't make a difference, I told myself and choose "The Orchard" from my list of favourites. And suddenly, the stars on the sky outside were all around me. And they were moving rather fast, too....
For a moment, all was dark. When I looked up, I stumbled with the surprise. Above my head, branches rose towards a grey sky. Daylight streemed down between the branches. I felt strange, not unpleasant... just strange. (Was I drunk? Sure not :0) Looking down at myself, I realized I was dressed in a long silver dress, quite unsuitable for forest walks, actually - and a thick, dark blue cloak fastened with a silver pin. My hair thicker, and much longer.
Strange... a little scary almost. What is this place?! Hearing the sound of voices, I started to walk towards them.
(Wow, cool idea! I like it :0) (Hi Pega, long time no see :0)

School was so boring. I walked down the driveway and into my house, throwing down my stuf and grabbing a glass of water before walking int the den and flipping on the computer. Turn on some music, country of course, and log on to the internet. A short moment is spent considering mt destination before I click on my favorites list and scroll down to the Orchard. Log on, yes.... a short pause as the page loads....my username...********* no that's not it.... oh yeah, ****. Click enter.
A short pause, then the music stops and my head spins. The lights dim and I feel a strange lightness amougst the spinning of my head. Oh, my stomach....a high sweet sound, similiar to my flute, and I land on hands and knees. Land? Opening my eyes I see undergrowth...like in a forest. A forest? Or an Orchard? My head stops spinning and I sit down, pulling my furry legs under - wait. Furry legs? My eyes take in all of my body slowly. I'm entirely covered in short, golden fur, with black spots. My ears are now cheetah-shaped, framed by my usual curly brown hair. My face, from what I can feel, has taken on many feline qualities, and I now have a tail. I'm still wearing what I was - jeans and my 8th grade band shirt, though I have lost my shoes.
Twitching that new tail I stand, finding it's easier to balance with a tail. And wow- I can smell now. How strange. I realize I'm now the anthro form of Aystyr. Oh, great, hopefully I don't have Aystyr's temper! My ears flick forwards of their own accord, and I hear the sound of voice - also distinctly felineish. I walk towards them, emerging into their view at the same time as a dress-clad woman.
"Umm....hello." I say, in a normal voice. Surely they can hear me. After all, two of them are felines too. And we have, as I have discovered, excellent hearing.

Dancing back and fourth from hoove to hoove I poke Pega impaintently, she seemed to ahve spaced out or something. Srughing and pricking my ears I could hear someone say Hello so in my loudest and most child like vocie ( of corse that was Stormie's normal vocie but not mine) I say, " Heyo!!" Out of boredom i shape sift into a small black bunny and hope about below Pega humming 99 RED Bolluns. Then jabbing at a small leaf with my now tiny golden horn Iopen my little bunny wings and beat them till I'm off the ground. I open one eye and look down, then the other and without much hesitation begin to fly around page's head," Weeeee!!"

Nuala turned to the Cheetah anthro and the woman and smiled
"Hello, I'm Nuala I don't think that I know your names though..."
I just stood there, my long tail flicked behind me and my ears twiched, but other than that I didn't move or make a sound. It was as if everthing that I wanted to do was acted out and said by Nuala, while though out my own, well Jag's body was filled slightly with comtempt and with her sister's openness

I groaned as I collapsed in the swivel chair behind my desk. This job was driving me nuts today; seating auditions for one of the younger orchestras, plus two giant mailings going out this week, one for a corporate fund drive, the other exam invitations from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. All this in addition to my normal workload and the usual irritations of my loveable but micromanaging boss.
I stole a furtive look next door at the artistic director's door; perfect, she was meeting with someone behind closed doors. I could use a little diversion. Opening IE, I typed in the usual first letters of the Orchard's URL. Before the page had even loaded, however, I felt a sudden wave of nausea, over as soon as it began.
"What the - " I blinked and looked around. "Um, hi girls. Pega, is that you?"
I felt a little out of place. After all, I had no alternate persona online, really. Standing in the Orchard itself - somehow - surrounded by the exotic collection of my online Orchard buddies, I was still in my jeans and sneakers. The only difference was that I was now an empress of my own world - not that someone could really tell the difference just by looking at me.

Still jittery after her first final of the week, a dark haired girl stumbles into the apartment and casts her messenger bag off in her room. Her shoes are tossed to the far reaches of her closet and her keys bounce from a rubber band. "Yes!" she exclaims, when she finds a ticket mentioning the fulfillment of her repair request. After two months, the flapper on her toilet is finally reconnected with its internal gizzards.
The corner computer turns on with a whir. As it loads, the girl searches her apartment for food. Cupboard after another, she's left empty handed. Noodles without sauce, expired yogurt, expired bread, cheese, some hotdogs she's forgotten about since October... In the very back of her tea cabinet, behind the boxes and boxes of her lifeblood, sits a single box of chili. "I wonder how long that's been there," she thinks aloud, before shrugging and throwing it in a pot. Some cheese, some heat, and it starts to bubble.
As it cooks, she returns to her computer. If this inanimate object could cringe, it would. It knows what's coming. She sits down, rolls up her sleeves, and prepares to continue 'working.' Multi-tasking is more like it. Load Outlook, InDesign, Illustrator, Windows Explorer, FrontPage, iTunes, and Firefox. All are brought up as fast as she can move her mouse to the prompts. Firefox takes the brunt of the attack - two windows, three tabs each. LJ, DA, E-mail, class webpage, university portal, and the last one - The Orchard Message post. The last is a guilty pleasure, meant only to take her mind off the left-over final's buzz.
Before any of them load, she returns to the kitchen for her chili and whips out her electric tea kettle. With a little water and a quick reset of the socket, it starts to bring the water to a boil.
She turns, chili in hand, happy to just sit down and enjoy her evening. She raises the fork full of warm chili to her mouth as the rosy pink of The Orchard floods Firefox.
But not all events come in such a familiar package. She's overwhelmed by the feeling of falling. The world's too tight and too loose at the same time. The fork's dropped into the bowl, the tea slowly comes to a whistle, and her room is suddenly filled with trees.
"What the FILBERT?!" ...Wait, that's not what she wanted to say. Aylura distinctly remembers trying to say something with more 'umph.'
"Filbershinglewhere the hector am I?!" Again, her familiar excited speech patterns are reduced to a string of harmless confusion. Aylura flattens her ears and huffs at no one in particular. Her long, white-tipped tail beats the ground in annoyed 'whumphs.' Oddly enough, she doesn't seem to surprised to be in the stocky body of a cougar. Maybe she just hasn't noticed yet.

I smiled at the other feline through my cheetah-girl face. "Hello, Nuala, I'm Aystyr. Well, that's the shortened version but it'll do." I said Aystyr instictively, not knowing why I didn't just say 'Devin'. But...I was in Aystyr's body so it seemed only right. Another smile was shown to the not-speaking feline, though I didn't seem to get a responce. The flicking tail and twitching ears seemed a good enough warning, so I don't press the point. "Uh...do you live here?"

Dawby yelps in surprise as the solid, muscular mass of cougar lands solidly nearby. "Oooh, wait. I think that's Aylura. Or it looks like her avatar, anyways. I mean, I hope it's Aylura."
She looks around hopefully for some sort of confirmation or validation from the others.

"Orchard," is all she can mumble between her canines. "At least that would explain the language filter."
All and all, it wasn't something to be terribly upset about. The Orchard was a great place to be, but the low growl in her stomach reminds her of the food she was just about to eat. Now there's no food in sight.
She spies three feline anthros of some breed, what appears to be two humans, and two unicorns. Well, now one unicorn and a bunny.
...Ok, make that no non-off-limits food. Aylura can't very well go around eating Orcharders, now can she?
(editaddition)((DSL - Was that last part to me? If not, just igore this paragraph.)) The cougar doesn't seem to notice the smile from the cheetah-girl. Or, if she does, her reaction is more-or-less the same as it had been. Who are these people, anyway? She recognizes Pega, and what she assumes to be Pega's sister, but the other's turn up only the empty spaces in her memory. "I don't live here," she replies curtly but with obvious confusion. "I just got here."
Her snow-capped ears flicker to the sound of that human since it said her name. One of the white markings above her eyes squishes as she forgoes her annoyed scowl for a more quizzical look. "That'd be me," she answers, now getting to her paws. "And... I'm sorry. I don't think I know of many people with a... um... Human? Character?"
Aylura's tail-tip swishes at the last word, clearly not pleased with how that came out. "This is all rather strange."

The solitary human sighs with embarrassment and frustration and lets herself collapse on her butt in the thick grass. "It's Dawby," she mutters. "And I'm always just me, here, there, real life, online, whatever. Dawby. Human, or at least that's what I keep telling people." She eyes Aylura's sharp teeth with healthy respect. "You're not, like, dangerous when you're in your persona form, are you?"

The feline approaches the now collapsed human with a nonchalant pace. She sits, too, with a weighty plop of her hind-quarters. Her ears briefly flick forward at the name, but the soon resume their satellite dish rotation to the various frequencies, voice, and sounds of the Orchard.
"I see," Aylura states with a blank feline stare. "Well, at least you don't have to worry about personality disorders or a complete dissociation from reality."
Scratch that. "Or you didn't have to worry about that until today," she amends with a click of her teeth.
The cougar smirks briefly before letting her snow-and-shadow marked maw fall back into place. "Only sometimes. Depends on my mood. I haven't eaten anyone in a while." As if on cue, her stomach makes another throaty protest. "I mean anything... I mean... Oh goodness."
