"The fact that you did not appear to want in, yet were intreaged with what we spoke of." The healer said, a smile crossing her dark skin,
Annyo stared at Joth, then Nado, then Pallo, then the Healer. "What happend to resting?" she asked under her breath, her arms crossed, and a light pout on her face.
Nado watched the kid with unblinking eyes, then shrugged. Just human. He thought.

The thief just merely ‘humph’ in reply. “Perhaps there’s a place we can stay for the time being.” The faun suggested giving Annyo a reassuring smile. then focused his attention back to Joth. The teen was staring at Nado in such a way that it made Pallo (strange as it was) uncomfortable. Even if he was armed with a short old rusty sword and a fancy jeweled dagger Joth didn’t look like the dangerous type. But that rather a cocky grin on his face reminded Pallo of a young faun about ready to get into mischief.
Could he be? The faun thought then brushed the idea aside. Nah...Couldn’t be.

"Perhaps..." Annyo said, blinking a couple of times, looking from Joth, to Pallo, then Nado. She sighed then looked to the Healer. "You could stay here if you like. Dat way I could take care of da girl." The accented woman offered. Annyo smiled, and nodded. "That would be nice"

"Aye." Pallo nodded in agreement. "We're very thankful for you’re generosity, miss." He gave the healer a respectful bow of the head.
"Good idea!" Said the voice of Joth and the faun noticed he was still looking at Nado. "Just in case your beloved girlfriend calls out to you in the middle of the night! Or..." The teen turned at pointed at him and much to Pallo's embarrassment he said. "Or is this elf lady your sweetheart?"
“Err..no I don’t have ahh...girlfriend.” Was all the faun could mutter.

Annyo stared at Joth, a confused look in her eye. Then she sighed, rolled her eyes, and shook her head. Nado grunted, then glared at the human boy. The Healer sat and laughed a little, as they small group squabbled.

Joth's grin only got bigger. "Oh, so she's left you then, eh." He cocked his head at Annyo. "Which means he's all yours." He winked making Pallo flush and sink down into his pillow. I feel so...humiliated. Why am I the one who always gets teased? "Ah, Joth don't you have something to do?" He said trying to change the subject and to politely shoo the lad away.
"Hmm..." The thief rubbed his chin thinking. "Unless the healer needs me for something. No. I don't."

"Acctually, dere is." the healer said. "You can help me clean up the elf girl." she added, getting up out of her seat. Nado glared at the kid. He didn't like him at all. Annyo looked at Pallo shrink into the pillow and blushed herself. She put her hand to her lips and turned away from looking at him.

The thief stared at the healer as if her skin suddenly turned to a odd shade of peppermint pink. So you're gonna let some tramp off the streets help play 'nursemaid' to a she-elf with a jealous lover. Joth thought and was about to speak out his thoughts but decided it was better to keep quite, less his 'occupation' was discovered. "Yeah...whatever." He said at last.
Pallo was just about felt the same way as the thief. Though in his case he felt that Nado should be the one. Better to have someone close to be with Lady Lee Ann and not some stranger. Still Pallo, He said quietly to himself. Best that you not question the healer. After all she knows what she's doing. He turned his head noticing the she-faun looking away and by Pallo's hunch she was feeling just as silly.

The Healer smiled, then held out her hand for Joth to take. "Well den, come along my child" she said. "Lets leave dem to rest....Dey need it after what dey bin through." she added, nodding to Nado. The male elf sighed, then relaxed somewhat, leaning more into the pillow. Chewing on her lip, Annyo turned back and faced the others.

My child? Good lords, lady I don't think you even what me to your child! The youth carefully extended a dirty hand with nails chewed down to nothing (he never broke the bad habit).
"I agree, looks like the sweethearts need some time alone together." He muttered with a nervous smile on his face, something about this healer gave him the creeps. "Come on let's go."
Pallo shrunk even more into his fluffy seat, not out of embarrassment but more out the sheer tiredness that came out of nowhere. "Aye," He said the weariness strong in his voice. "A good long rest is all I ask for...and I think it goes for us all."

"Yes. Thanks you Healer." Annyo added, glancing over to Pallo. The Healer smiled yet again while she took Joth's hand and lead him towards the back room were Lee was. The once strong elf female was now fragile and laying silently on the bed, her eyes slightly open. Where they had normally glowed blue, they were slightly grey, and dulled. "How is da patient?" the Healer asked calmly, letting go of the young human boy's hand to kneel by the girl. Nado sighed with relief as the boy and lady left and too, sank into his seat. He closed his eyes and rested his hands behind his head. He spread his legs wide and streached them out wide and off the pillow.
Still staring at Pallo, Annyo blinked. Then, she crawled over and snuggled close to him, resting her hand over his chest. Long ago (while they were riding here) she had taken out her pig-tails and her lengthy blonde hair gently flowed over her shoulders.

Joth’s face suddenly became grave as he saw the elf lying there deathly pale on the bed. It suddenly remind when the Mouse was young boy clinging on to his mother’s arm watching her wasting away in bed till death took her away. Leaving him an orphaned and eventually living out the streets.
“How is she?” Joth whispered trying to push back the memory.
~~ The young faun hardly took notice of Annyo; not that he was trying to ignore her or anything of the likes but simply that the fact Pallo had fallen asleep.
And sleeping with his eyes half opened.

"She is strong willed, and is surviving. She need rest, water, den some T.L.C....Tender Loving Care, from everyone around her. She survived a full on attack from da Horrid Lord." Healer said, gently caressing her forehead.
"Barley here...Everyone...Everyone else okay?" Lee said, her voice raspy and worn. Her eyes skipped over to Joth and smiled half heartedly. "Hey there squirt....Hows it....Hows it hanging?" she asked the young human.
Annyo smild lightly as she listend to Pallo's heart beat and his silent breathing. "My sleeping prince." she whispered. Nado watched the two fauns, then breathed gently and laughed quietly.

Joth rubbed the back of his neck as he stammered out a reply. "Uh..Fine..." She must be disoriented, thought the Mouse, Must be mistaking me for that goat boy.

"Thats...Thats good..." Lee said. Then her eyes fluttered closed and her breathing slowed. The only motion from her body was the slight rise and fall of her chest. Healer looked at Lee for a moment more, then stood up and bustled over to a cubboard. She pulled out a small vile of glowing green liquid, and a cup. "Can you go to da shelf there and get dat white bottle?" she asked Joth, pointing to a dull, white bottle.
