“How are they doing?” Pallo asked seeing that Annyo went to check up on their steeds.

Joth bit his lip, if he was going to steal something from this elf he would have to be swift and when he’d least expect it but for now judging by the odd looks he was getting the Mouse would have to play it safe, throwing the cat (Nado) off the sent before he can grab the cheese.

Putting on a smile the thief spoke up. "Say, I don't think you've introduced yourselfs."

"Well I'm Pallo Balleny," The faun answered bowing his head slightly.

[Lee-Ann]

"Oh erm...I'm Annyo..." the she-faun said sheepishly.
Nado grunted. "Nado Arentha...Elf mage." he mumbled, his eyes dartinging from one to another.
Lee smiled and said "Lee-Ann Arabellas, Elven warrior and ex high general of an army."

For the first time ever (since he met them) the face on Joth suddenly turned to an old color of white and his heart leapt right up into his mouth. Great, just great now this make things even harder!

There were three things that the Mouse feared the most: One being the authorities/thief catcher, two snakes and last but not least, three; mages or any being of supernatural powers.

With a chant of words and a flick of the wrist a mage could bast a hole petty thief like him and laugh while his insides hung on the outside.

Now what do I do? Though Joth trying to keep his cool in front of the others. Am I desperate enough to take such a risk or find another victim? He mentally sighed to himself, least he had a day to make his choice.

Pallo too had his shock of the day but not of fear but amazement. "Criggets!" He gasp looking at the she-elf in surprise. "You've never told me that you were a shields maiden let alone a ex general."

[Lee-Ann]

Lee's face shone lightly, and her eyes began to smile. "I'm sorry, I thought I did" She rested her arms back and she crossed her legs.
Annyo looked surprised as well" You never told me either...."
Healer grinned then left the room. "I'll leave you guys alone for a while."

[Belladandy]

Pallo scracthed the back of his neck. "Gosh, I never thought it was for a maiden to..." He stopped and only shook his head. "But then again I never thought that a faun could become a mage."

I wonder if it's possible for a chap like me to weild magic. The thought came to the faun suddenly and he made a note to ask Annyo later.

Joth rolled his eyes wishing he could sneak out with the healer.

[Lee-Ann]

"You look bored Joth." Annyo and Lee commented at the same time.
Nado just sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets and ploped down on the bed beside Lee.

[Belladandy]

"What me bored? Naww..." The thief lied sweetly. Not bored just wondering how fast Nutty Nado can fire up a lightening bolt.

[Lee-Ann]

"Allright." She sighed. "Would you like to come with us to Trevale tomorrow?" she asked, looking over to Pallo. "That is, if Pallo wouldnt mind." she added.

[Belladandy]

Pallo nodded his head. Even if he had an odd feeling about Joth, Lady Lee-Ann trusted him, so why not do so himself.

This took the thief by sudden surprise and he stood there speachless for a few minents. Not only did these travellers seemed to drag him out the streets into thier 'house' so to speak but now invieted him to join their little group.

Joth was about to open his mouth to decline then stopped. A crazy idea but why not? He thought. The people in town are getting wise to me and sooner or later that thief catcher is going to find me.

A new town and a abundance of freash vitims just might be good for the Mouse.
"Yeah, I guess." The thief spoke at last.

[Lee-Ann]

"Allright. Will you be ready to travel by tomorrow?" she asked
"Erm...Lee, do you think its wise?" Annyo whispered into the elf's ear.

[Belladandy]

“Of course!” The thief answered. The Mouse had always traveled light, never stealing more then he could carry. Or run.
Though I must steal for supplies for the trip, Trevale is a big place or so I heard.

As much as much as it bothered him to say it Pallo asked the one question that had been troubling him. “What about the horrids? Has the rest of the pack been killed?”

"Erm, that we dont know..." the small group of three replied.
Just then, Healer came back in with some roots. "If you keep dese on hand, like in your clothing, then when da Horrids attack, if dey do kill you, den dey will die too." she said bluntly.

[Belladandy]

“Well that’s very reassuring.” The thief said sarcastically as he took one of the roots and shoved it into his pocket. “I’ve always like the idea of my enemy dying after they eaten me alive.”
Pallo shot him a glance and bowed his head at the healer. “I hope it doesn’t come to that but if the worse should come, at least there will be less horrid attacks.”
His face suddenly grew solemn and almost sad like but it lasted only for a second.

[Lee-Ann]

Staring at the solemn and suddenly depressed faces, Healer laughed at them. "You need not be down. Dey work instantly on the Horrids. Just a sliver could seriously harm a Horrid." she explained.

[Belladandy]

The faun nodded and smiled. “Yes, but how does one coax a horrid to eat it’s vegetables?” Pallo shrugged brushing the matter off his mind. There were more important things to do.
“In the mean time let’s enjoy ourselves, and have a chance to restock our supplies.”
