"I'm cursed....I can never die, being a unicorn...but if I leave these woods....will die..." She looked down at the grass for a moment then looked up again. "For that reason, I rarely see anyone..."

Pallo looked at her in horror. "But that's terrible! How!!Why!...Is there any way to brake this curse?"

"To tell you the truth....I have no idea how....Just that the on who cursed me was an elf...." She lazily got up and shook of bits of Grass.

"An..elf?" The faun looked even more confused. Impossible! An elf would never do such a thing! That's black magic initself! He thought. But then again why would she lie?((I'm sorry for your loss ))

((Thank you...)) After becoming bored with the grass she sat beside Pallo again. She hoped he trusted her...He might be her only chance at having a friend. And she wanted the curse off of her. "Yeah...An elf...." She looked rather sad.

Pallo sat there for a moment in silence, thinking. He had no doubts that Lady Lee-Ann would make up such a tale. Unicorns don't lie, from what he had been told. Well Pallo it looks like you got a poor damsel in distress and noone’s here to help her, save you.
Looking up he said at last. "What can I do? Is there a way to break the curse?"

"I dont know...Mabey I should find the elf? Hopefully he isnt too far." She pondered for a moment. "Mabey he went to the west side." She looked at Pallo for a moment. Perhaps he would help her.

Since there was nothing else for Pallo's brain to come up with any better ideas to think of; he agreed.
"That does sounds like a good start...let's so see this elf chap." He said nodding his head and standing up he added. "I may be a mere faun but I want to help."

"Thank you, thank you so much" She nuzzled him gently. "He lives down towards the Black Waters. Down o the south." She began walking to what she claimed to be the Black Waters.

Pallo smiled and blushed slightly at being nuzzled by the unicorn and followed her silently. Crossing his fingers that the elf they about to meet wasn't in a spell-mood today. Or in a killing mood either. A fight with the possibility of magic was the last thing Pallo wanted.
After all he was just a little guy (standing a little less then five feet), not very strong, underweight and armed with only a rusty dagger. And to add to that he wasn't the most bravest of fauns. Still what the faun lacked in strength, courage, and wisdom was loyalty. Which perhaps some courage can come from it.He silently concluded.

She slowly so he could take his time to think things over while they walked. She hummed silently to herself and thought as well. If the elf wanted to fight with magic, she would lend some to Pallo and fight with hers. She stopped, nuzzled at a patch of grass and dipped her horn into the ground, pulling out a small chain with a locket.
"Here, it will pretect you from minor spells..." she said as she held it out on her horn. "You'll probably need it more then me."

"Will this elf chap really attack us? Not like that's gonna stop me, since I've already made up my mind to help."
He said taking the necklace and puting around his neck. Which hung nicely beside his own necklance, a pendant engaved with a sun with a leaf in the center on one side and centaur that was crowned with leaves on the other. The creast of Trevale, Pallo's home land.

"I'm not so sure." She said, admiring his crest. "It all depends on what kind of mood he's in..."
She looked to the skys as if in a trance, then snapped back to reality. She turned to the south again and began walking. "Let me know if you get tired okay?"

"Well I not tired just yet but thanks for the offer." He shrugged and gave her a small smile.
"Let's cling to hope that he's in good humor today. If not..." The faun reached into a bag that hung from his leather belt, and pulled pulled out a small fancy blue glass bottle. Inside was a strange goldish liquid*. "This might help! Got this from a lovely nyad. Said it will bring passion and happiness to the one who drinks or smells the sweet flagrance." He chuckled placing the bottle back into the bag and looked up at the unicorn. “Something to use just in case.”
((*It’s a love potion! Loaded with lots and lots of caffeen! The nyad thought that Pallo was in need a faun girlfriend.))
