Ramak raised an 'eyebrow' slightly and then let out a slight laugh, his eyes giving off the fact that he could see right through Mouse. Araina shot him a disapproving look but said nothing as Ramak stretched boredly, "So are you a Robinhood-wanna-be?" he laughed again, his eyes twinkling mischeveously.

The thief made a face (and even stuck out his tongue!). "Robin Hood? Ha! He's just a man in tights. Sure, steal from the rich to feed the poor...that's alright with me but to raise a few measly coins for a king that was foolish enough to leave a John behind and get himself captured; I say is such a waste!"
He shook his head and smiled proudly. "No! I'm gonna be the best thief there is! Just you wait! Soon they'll be calling me Joth the Prince...No the King of Thieves!"
Joth paused for a second and then added in a very low voice. "After the original King of Thieves retires...He won't allow anybody to take his tittle while he's in the business."

Ginkai began to hop from foot to foot idly, his wings beginning to twitch as he listened to the human ramble on in its human language... He understood it but it took more effort than he really wanted to put into translation.... and he hadn't even answered the question! maybe he said it wrong.. "...Why do you steal?" He asked again, although he put a bit more emphasis onto the 'why' part this time.
He couldn't wait to take off again, these dragons seemed... Odd, and he never really had much tolerance for royalty. He liked just flying around and meeting new people. The human was alright, he was amusing even if he was talking a bit fast.

"Cause I'm a thief!" Was Joth's matter-of-fact answer. He stared curiously at Ginkai for a few seconds. Wondering if the dragon was either naive or just plain dull-witted.
"I steal Cause I can and I'm good at it."
And I have no choice... He added privately to himself.

Ramak let out a slight sigh, this human thief had intresting thoughts but Ramak always wanted to be somewhere other then where he was. And that place was deffinetly not back at his so called home. Standing Ramak eyed Mouse, "Well, enjoy your meal." he said as he opened his large ebony wings and took of in a flurry of leeves.
Arina watched Ramak leave but surprisingly made no move to follow him, she meerly waited for Ginkai and Joth to react.

Ginkai nodded slightly before sitting down, managing to keep the light from reflecting too painfully off of his scales in the process. "You steal for greed and fun?" He asked just to reconfirm the notion, Ginkai didn't really believe in stealing but if it was what the human wanted to do he wasn't about to stop him... After all the mercury dragon had nothing that the human could steal.
"Once I stole meat from another predator when I was hungry." his eyes drifted over to the bread that had been stolen. "I am sorry if I get things wrong. This is not my native speech." he said with a small nod before beginning to pace....
He more or less ignored Ramak since he was speaking to the human after all.

The young thief watched Ramak leave. A sudden feeling of awe came over the boy, all of his life (or as far as he could remember) he was always told to weary of dragons. Foul creatures who lusted for gold and favored a virgin maiden as a dinner delicacy. But now with the fear and the tall tales gone, Joth couldn't help but admire the beasts, especially Ramak and Arina. Of course they were the only dragon's he had encountered (not including Ginkai) but the thief figured that they be the first and the last dragons he'll ever meet.
Ginkai, on the other hand, as dragon as he was, the silver fellow oddly acted like a cross between a jester and a little kid, which of course mused the Mouse very much.
And speaking of Ginkai....
“Well I wouldn’t exactly say the word greed.” He scratched his head for a second (the fleas were getting a little nippy again) then continued. “Fun yes, but greed no. I’m sort of greedy but not purely greedy.”
He cocked his head at Ginkai. “You understand what I’m saying, right?”

Ariana sighed, she really didn't know what to do now. Ramak was obveously off doing his own thing, as his often did. A crack of thw twigs in the trees around her made her growl. But she did not move, meerly kept her eyes on the place the sound had come from.

If only the thief knew how hard it was for Ginkai to keep himself from speaking at a pace that was almost impossible to understand, and to keep himself from simply buzzing around the place the odd manner of speech might make a little more sense... That and he was from a society almost utterly different than the humans.
He thought about what the person explained then tried to re-word it in order to really get the meaning... "You steal for fun." He nodded then thought about it for a moment. "I think I understand." He smiled a bit at the human then flared out the silvery wings, blinding flashes of light reflecting off of them before they settled again... It was definitely not fun to look at such a reflective surface during the day. "I'm too noticable to sneak. I have never tried stealing."

The thief had to shield his eyes at the sudden flare of light. "Whoa there matey! Trim the shine-ness down!" He cried slamming his eyes shut for a few minutes before opening them again. "Gosh! How did you do that?" He gasped lowering his hand.

Arirna was silent as Ginkai flashed his dazeling scales, her eyes still fixed on the brush behind the theif. Even as she half listened she heard Joth's question and let out a small laugh, still saying nothing she pushed herself up into a half sitting-half standing possision waiting for Ginkai's responce.

Ginkai looked at the thief, he was pretty sure that the person could tell how he did that... The smaller dragons scales were constantly more reflective than most mirrors and moving them about caused the light to reflect at different angles, what created the flash before. "I am very reflective." he commented then began to pace around the human... "Sorry if I hurt your eyes. I am feeling restless." his wings continued to twitch as he fought the urge to take off... since that would be kind of rude.
He could probably carry the human, but it would be difficult since they were about the same size... and he didn't especially feel like dragging all that extra weight... Of course he would if they asked.

"Hmmm..." Joth raised a thoughtful eyebrow at Ginkai and his mind began to race. Now Joth always had a overactive imagination and seeing the shiney dragon growing restless a wild thought came to his mind.
You know something Mouse...Mr. Ginkai here would make a nice 'partner' in crime. We could hide out near the roads and rob anybody that comes by! They won't make much of a fuss with a dragon. I'll share the spoils with Ginkai 50/50 and we would leave the poor folk alone since I am a honest and decent thief...
So it went on, crazy and stupid as it was Joth toyed with the idea. Ginkai looked easy enough to befriend and 'trained' and the fellow seemed to crave for some excitement. Of course on the other hand the other dragons may not like the idea of a puny human using their own kin for his own selfish purposes and just might give him a good scolding for that. Or perhaps a good scorching.
Hmpth, better put this on hold for now...
Smiling ear to ear Joth put his hands together and tapped his fingers. "Well Ginkai, I'm getting a little restless myself guess I'm used to being always on the move and don't worry you didn't hurt my eyes that much and if you don't mind me asking if you ever loose one of your pretty scales mind giving them to the Mouse?"

Ginkai watched the thief with a small amount of interest when the person seemed to suddenly get lost in thought, it was odd how often this seemed to happen... although it was usually dragons that this happened to, just before they decided they wanted to add him to their hoard or something else equally ridiculous... He was glad that the human would probably not be able to do something like that.
When asked if he could have any loose scales Ginkai thought about it for a moment, he rarely ever lost scales... except for when things attacked him. But he supposed he could give them to the human if he was around, since all he did with them normally was eat them to get back some of the nutrients. "If I lose a scale you can have it." He paused and looked around before taking a few bites out of the deer and turning back to the mouse. "Where should we go?" He asked curiously... He had no idea where this place was or anything, but didn't actually care where they went so long as they were moving.

The thief just smiled and would of patted the silver dragon on the muzzle but didn't know if Ginkai would of appreciate being petted like a dog. Instead he muttered a thank you and then took another round of scratching his head -the bloodsuckers were having seconds- thinking on Ginkai's one question. Where should we go?
The Mouse pondered this question aloud to himself.
"certainly not back to town, the villagers will have a fit with you dragons for sure. Plus that one thief catcher will nab my tail if I show up....Hmm...Don't know if Helga's place is a good place either..."
Helga, was a old woman who raised Joth after his mother died when he was young. Being a former thief herself she taught him all the arts of thievery.
Joth stopped his itching and crossed his arms. "No, no Helga wouldn't like dragons popping at her place..." He paused at looked up at the large form of Arina. "Got anything in mind?" He asked.
