she rolled her eyes then said." eh...well with you distracting him i can make my move." she smirked "that how the princess of thieves dose it mousey." she looked in the direction of the forest then her face turned pale. "ru-RUN!" she said snatching joth's arm. "what is it?" kaylin said. "look at-at the forest!!" andrean said flying past kaylin. then she saw, the ghost was back and annoying as ever.

[Belladandy]

The thief let out a scream. "The gods above! Save us!" His hand griped the pendents that hung around his neck and with rapid speed, he chanted prayer after prayer begging the gods for their divine protection.

And in answer a great cry rung out.
"RAAARRROOK!"

Turning his head to look behind Joth saw to his surprise the raven was attacking the ghost! Faster then a falcon, she was dive bombing at the spirit's head cawing and clawing wildly.

He stopped running and stared at the sense in complete disbelief and just to make things even weirder the raven spoke.

“Go Baaacck! Go Baaack! Stop your attaack and return to the darkness!

"I'm going to die! this is not happening!!'' andrean fell back wards smashing her back against a rock. "andrean! are you ok?" kaylin went right to her friends side helping her up. as lightning struck it began to drizzle. "hhhhooow darr a saddd fowlll calange mee." the ghost spoke latching on to the raven. then one howl rang through the air, then another, soon a whole pack of wolves sprang from the forest attacking the dark spirit. ~~hello friends~ kaylins friend the white wolf came up to them with a smile. ~bye i have some ghost getting to do.~ with that she sprang of landing striate on the head of the ghost. "yourrr aactacccing dose no gooooodd! BEWARRE OF WHHHAT YOOU CAN NOT HANDLE!" the ghost struck out a menacing blade hacking at the whining wolves. but before joth or andrean could stop kaylin she darted out trying to help her friend. almost as if time stopped around them the ghost stopped its attack to look at her. "helllooo sissster.." it spoke in a mocking voice. "hello sis. long time no see. still hating your self from selling your soul to darkness?" she walked around her dead sister mocking her right back. "NO! i aamm not! my new forms more powerful then all of ourrr family!" the she ghost sped right up to stare her living sister in the face.

[Belladandy]

The raven cawing and flapping madly her wings till at last she manage sprang free from the spirits grasp and flew overhead glaring at the ghost with her bright yellow eyes.

What started out as a small spark of flame suddenly burst out into a roaring blaze. Anger took over the Mouse and before he
realized what he was doing he pulled out his sword and suddenly found himself charging full speed at Kaylin's dead sister.

"JOTH! no! kaylin held up a hand but it was to late. the ghost drew back her sword, hitting joth side. "go back to the darkness! your not welcome here." kaylin struck her sword againts the gouls. "AIIEEEEEE!!!!" the little furry creature sprung up and lached onto the spirits leg. "ouchhh! youu fooolll of a creature!" she flung the furry thing off but she was so distracted by it that she did not notice that the group had fled into the town. "beware.....i will be backkkk..." she faded and returned to the forest

[Belladandy]

Joth ran as fast as he could but the pain in his side grew worse and worse, slowing him down. Hard cold agony surged bit into the area where the spirit had struck him. He tried to call out to the girls but nothing came out save for a sharp gasp.
Now the pain became too intense and he collosped to the ground and the world about him fell into an icy darkness.

The raven seeing the young thief down the raven let out a cry as she darted above the two girls heads.
"Kurraah! Look! Look! Behind you! The thief has fallen!"

"joth!" andrean cried running back to where he had fell. "NO PULSE!! oh my gosh...i'm going to get a doctor!" andrean rushed up to tell kaylin then ran to town. "please hurry..." kaylin prayed while she sat by his side. the wound was to deep to heal herself, and the blade that sliced his side was poisend. "i must do what i can" she placed a hand on his side. a light glow rose around her as she gritted her teeth. "ouch!" she withdrew her hand gasping for breath. the dark magic that was in the wound was not letting her heal it. she then grabbed a bandege wrapping it around his side. the raven felw to a low branch in the tree that they where under letting out a purring sound. "thank you for letting us know." she looked up at the raven.

[Belladandy]

The raven bowed her head. "I am Neyena." She said then turned her yellow eyes to Joth. "The wound is deep and dark power dwells within." The bird let out a comfeting purruk seeing the elf's distrot. "Yet there is still life in him and while there is life there is hope."

[kaylin58]

"i hope your right..." she gazed at the raven and then at joth. "GUYS! over here!" Neyena and Kaylin gazed over and andrean with sombody else ran over. "i have a doctor!"

[Belladandy]

The raven took off from her perch and landed on the elf's shouder. "We should take him back to the village. " She whispered in Kaylin's long ear. "Once the healer deems it fit to move him." She paused and then added. "A streacher can be made to carry Joth."

after a bit the healer said that theres nothing to do but wait. they took him to the town where he stayed in the healers home. he began to stir slightly and over heard a converation thru the icey darkness: "do you think he will be alright?" a voice said "oh yes he will be but he might loose feeling in his side." another replied. "well i hope he dosent!" the voice of andrean rung thru the air. his eye opened slightly only to see nothing but a blur.

[Belladandy]

Joth blinked a few times trying to clear his blurry vision but to no avil. He was feeling weak and his side felt strangely cold and numb.
He shifted a little and then let out a low groan.

"He is awake."

He heard a voice (Neyena) but it didn't sound like Andrean or Kaylin. Taking a few breath he said softly. "Uhh...W-what happened? Wh-where am I?"

[kaylin58]

"neyana your right!" kaylin grined walking over to his bed. "your in the healers home. that wound you got atculy was not that deep, so with at least one-hundred tries i was able to heal it after the dark magic wore off a bit." kaylin looked into his face. "your as pale as a sheet!" andrean struted over. he slowly rose and lifted up a weak hand to rub his eyes. thankfully he was able to regain his vison and looked at the bird that let out a a little squeak, then he looked at the two girls.

[Belladandy]

Joth just stared at the girls with sleepy eyes, having not a clue of what they were talking about. His memory of the encounter with the ghost leading up to his attack was for the time being forgotten from his mind. Bits and pieces of it would slowly return to him in time but Joth would never in his life fully remember the event.

For now Joth slumped his shoulders and said. "Alright...What sort of trouble did I get into now?"

Neyena cocked her black head at Joth but said nothing. She would let the girls explain everything to him since they knew a little more then she did and besides she wasn't much of a talker. Rather a listener.

''you don't remember?" andrean asked. "he got wounded by a ghost, i guess the dark magic made him forget." kaylins soft silky voice replied to andrean then turned to joth. "don't worry, you'll be ok." joth still looked puzzled. "we shall explain it to you." kaylin then told him every thing that happened
