Another talking beast? Thought the Mouse growing more and more uneasy. He kept a tight grip on his sword and made sure Andrean stayed close beside him.
He jumped a little as he spoted a bird with yellow eyes curiously staring at them high up in a tree. The bird let out a soft "purruk' and took off disapearing into the trees.

"not much for trusting this critter." andrean whispered to joth. ~I wont hurt you and you know it!~ the wolf turned her head to look at them both. ~come on~ as the she wolf said kaylin was there. "why long ears! where have you been?" andrean squeaked. "eh, battling creatures, trying to free my leg-" she showed andrean the weed like vine that grabbed onto her boot. "-and, i made a new friend" she gazed at the white wolf. "she helped me out a bit..ouch." she grabbed her arm. "did you get hurt?" andrean said then gasped at the wound on her arm.

[Belladandy]

"So you really were in trouble!" Said the Mouse eyeing the vines for a second then to his sword. "I don't think my sword would cut you free too big to handle for that and the blade is dull." Puting away his weapon Joth pulled out his other blade a fancy jeweled dagger. One of his perfect 'steals.'

He bent down and began to cut away the vines.
"Hold still, I don't want to give you another wound..." He muttered.

"ow! watch out!" she mused while andrean wetend a cloth from a nearby stream, and put it on her wound. "wheres your sword anway kaylin?" "over there" she pointed at it. it was stuck in the ground broken. "after your done getting those vines can you help me get pest-o out of my hair?" it still was sqirming tangling its self even more. andrean rolled her eyes.

[Belladandy]

Joth let out a small cry of victory as the last of the thik vines yielded away to sharp metal of his dagger.

Smriking, he got up and brushed off the dirt on his knees. "Well for you m'lov it looks your Pest-o is in need of an exterminater."
He said this with a cocky glint in his eyes and his hands twiched oddly. "If little bugger don't stop wiggling and wrangling that is."

Joth went over to the girl's side and poked the furry creature. "You understand what I'm saying?"
Using both his hands the Mouse carefully untangled 'Pest-o' out without so much as yanking or pulling out Andrean's hair.

"ow! gentle you! that thing has claws!" "icke! ikee!" it squeaked and scrambled up a tree. " so, now what? I'm bored." she yawned. "wilf! wil,f! its a wilf!" it soon ran and sat on kaylins shoulder chattering non stop. ~I'm feeling a bit hungery, and that thing looks a bit tasty~ the white wolf smirked. "Kira! the little creatures my pet! no eating!" kaylin tapped the wolf on the nose. a sudden sound of footsteps made them stop. a young man stepped out of the shadows, clothed in black. "who-who are you?" andrean was the first to speak up. "names do not matter right now...one of you is in danger." he said sounding very forlorn. "of danger of what?" kaylin said, fear all in her voice. "you do not want to know maiden...you do not want to know." with that he turned around back to the forest.

[Belladandy]

Joth wanting an answer from the dark stranger shouted. "Wait a minute! What do mean? Who is in danger! Don't tell me a thief catcher is on my tail!"
But no answer came of course and the young thief crossed his arms in annoyance.
"Typical...just typical...Next time he shows up -if he shows up- I'm picking his pocket."

"i don't think anythings after you....lets get out of here." kaylin said. as they traveled in the forest a chilling voice rang through the air "beware...BEWARE OF ME!" the voice sent the group into a mad dash of fear and running.

[Belladandy]

"That...." Joth panted as he ran. "Doesn't sound good!"
He dared to look back but saw no pursurer save for a raven, the same he saw either, was fallowing them. Probably waiting for us to die and to pick off the flesh off our bones. He thought grimly.

as they ran a young harvester girl stopped them. "you ran into the ghost i see.." she said while picking up a basket of barley. "those woods are haunted." she wiped a drop of sweat from her brow. "nonsense! i did not see a ghost!"andrean put here hands on her hips. "ghosts are invisible. especially around daylight." she shruged.

[Belladandy]

Joth staggered to a halt and threw himself to the ground panting heavily. "Ghosts?" He gasp looking at the new girl with astonishment. "Well that sure explain a few things...I wonder if that dark man was a spirit."

Sighing the thief picked himself up wiping away the sweat off his face with his dirty sleeve, when he got the strange feeling that he was being watched. He turned around half expecting some demon behind him but instead all he saw was the forest trees and the pursuing raven perched calming in up on a high branch.
"Ha! Thought you'd have yourself a free meal!" He cried waving a finger at the bird. "Better luck next time!"
The raven cocked her head at him and let out a:
"Hurrhurrhurr..."
Joth raised an eyebrow, oddly as it was it sounded as if the raven was laughing at him.

"he's talking to a bird!" andrean giggled. "so he is. its probly a gift... he might be able to see what the animals mean." everyone gazed at her. "or he just might be crazy." a voice from the forest gainded their gaze, once again the man clad in black steped out of the shadows. "telon! how do you know?"the harvester girl stoped piking barley and put her hands on her hips. "are you'a know it all?" he just rolled his eyes at her argument.

[Belladandy]

"Haahaa very funny." Joth said dryly and his eyes narrowed suspiciously at the man in black. Even if this man appeared to be none-threatening (at the moment) his little Mouse instincts were picking up the sent of a rat.

And speaking of rats, Joth suddenly remember his words back in the forest, after his first encounter with the dark stranger:
"Next time he shows up -if he shows up- I'm picking his pocket."

His hand twitched slightly. And that's what I'm going to do! The Mouse must keep his word after all!

A wild mischievous glint shined in his eyes as his mind thought up a nice little plan.
Standing up to his full height (about 5'2) Joth strode forward raising a cautious hand. "Careful!" He said trying to sound serious. "If this place is haunted how do we know that this man is a man? And not some evil demon?" He turned to the man. "Don't make any false moves I want to make sure you're really flesh and not spirit!"
Like a shark swimming around a wounded fish, the thief circled the stranger, inspecting him up and down, eyeing for any valuable for him to steal.

andrean (being a theif herself) got the idea. she was going to try to do the same (all theive's are alike). she took one step forward but the harvester girl stoped her. "you dont want to get in the midle." andrean looked at her suspicuiosly. "beware......i said BEWARE!" joth just grabbed a pocket watch, and droped his find "hey you thief!" telon snacthed up the watch and grabbed the arm of the harvester girl and ran. "hurry! get out of there!" she yelled to them. "that chickin!" andrean almost full trying to run up a steep hill.

[Belladandy]

"Hey!" Whined Joth as he chasing after the girl thief. "I stold that watch fair and square!"
Then he shouted to Andrean. "Come on! Don't bother running after 'em...And why did you try to steal from that guy when I was making my move! You know as well as I do that it's a bad idea to have two people to pickpocket at the same!"
