Garnet raised an eyebrow at Briin's eagerness to "protect" her. "Hey, I can be big and strong too! Size doesn't matter," she said defensively. It irked her when people thought of her as small, dosile, and defenseless. "If anything, I should protect you." She sighed and shook her head. "But it's okay. I'll go with you anyway." She stopped and grinned, then spoke in a more light-hearted tone. "You should pick another larger companion as well. You'll need protecting after what I'm going to do to you to get back at you!!" She chuckled and turned to Teko. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Garnet!" She smiled. "And this is my not-as-tough-as-me friend, Briin." She chuckled again.
Adrian bowed to Teko. "Nice to meet you, chap. I am Adrian, Son of Neptune." He held out a large clawed hand to be shaken.

Anocher gave Teko a big toothy grin, then he turned to Adrian. "Anocher not think this good idea. If one party gets lost how is the rest going to find them? Anocher belive this is no ordenary maze."
He paused for a second and then added.
"But Anocher shall go what Master Adrian countcel."

Briin'ken pouted a bit at Garnet's comment. Then she swished her tail in friendly acknowledgement at Teko and glanced around at the group.
"So.. what should we do now? Split up or stick together?" she asked nobody in particular.

Garnet shot a glance at Briin. "What? Did I say something? I'm sorry..." she said apollogetically ((did I spell that right? ^_^; ). Adrian scratched his head. "We might as well split up. Briin and Garnet can go together, and someone else as well. Who wants to go with them?" |

Garnet nodded at Briin. "Yes, Charon and RoboMonkey can come with us. So that's... one, two, three, four on our side. Adrian, who's team are you on?" she asked, noticing Adrian had been left out.
"I... um... I don't care." He scratched his head, not knowing who'd want him on their 'team'. So he waited.
