A hugh roar came from behind the Mor'tack was on the hunt!

Leela's head shot strait up. "Ramsey!" She cried.
"She's in tribble," The dragcorna blinked Why did I say "tribble"? Getting up quickly and before she realise what she was doing took off like a hawk.

Another Motrake wandered the forest. It snifed for pray. It smmeled odd sents.
Ramsey bilked,"Here he comes..." She strengthened the shilked. She could feel two figers com,eing twored her one good the other evil. "Leela! Coem get in the shiled!"

Picking up a new sent the Mor'tack spotted another creature. Forgetting the elf the beast lungde into action...
The dragcorna hardly had time to react the Mor'tack leaped from the ground and grab Leela by the tail pulling her down!
Shreiking the dragcorna stuggled and began to flame at the beast fighting for her life.

Ramsey had no cose she tke out her bow and shot the beast. She grabed Leela's paw to help her.

Weather it was the arrow or somewhere deep inside Elneil took hold for a moment the beast let go. But with a price the dragcorna lost part of her tail and her tailfan was damaged.
Leela let out several dragcorna curses and flamed at the Mor'tack again. Then she ran for her life leaving a trail of blood behind her. but she felt no pain as of yet. In fact she didn't even notice the loss of her tail.
The beast howled with rage and charged.

"Leela! Over here in this shiled!" Ramsey grebed the Dragcorn and pulled here into the shiled.

The dragcorna jumped inside the sheild. Her whole body was shaking and she leaned forward a bit.
Growling the beast came closer head strait for the elf.

She shote anothere arow at him giveing a little cry.
She looked down st her friend,"Your tail." Ramsey put her hand to it and it held not growing back but stoping the bleding.

The Mor'tack screamed in pain but to him mere arrows would not stop him. Fool does the she-elf think such a small wepon can stop me!
He thought.
"M-my tail!" The dragcorna looked back seeing what the beast had done. A small wimper emurge from her lips and she coward down to the ground. She lay there for only a second but suddenly got up and cried out.
"The sun! The sun! I see her coming!"

There was no need to move for the Mor'tack felt it coming. He turned and fled back into the woods. The Mor'tack ran for a few feet then collapsed as his fourm turned into Elneil.
The elf lay were he fell not moving but his body was trembling and he muttered something unintellagible.

Ramsey's shild broke. she ran twored her riend she gental pulled out the awrows and healed the wondes.
"Eline?I'm sorry but...." she couldn't bring herself to say I love you but if this is what you must be then I must never see you again. Ramsey wippered and colapssed fanting.

The dark elf open his eyes finding Ramsey in a swoon.
"Ramsey..." For a moment of terror he thought the Mor'tack had attacked her before he transformed but to his relife no wound could be seen. He said gently putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Oh want have I done! Curse you Cassha! And acursed be me for my blindness!" He cried holding her.
Hearing a sound he went for his blade but stop himself seeing that it was the dragcorna. Odd she was walking rather oddly with her back legs spread apart and her rump low to the ground.
"Leela what happened to you? Are you wounded?"
"Nevermind me! What's a wroung with Ramsey?" She replied.

Ramsey was in her own world at the moment. She was sucing for a cure and for her brother.
