I was asked to post this:
Those who know LL, she's going through a really tough time right now in her real/personal life. And I know she could use all the love and support she can get right now. So if you could post a note to everybody... Ask them to Please keep her in their best and warmest thoughts and prayers. She really needs them right now.
I'm sure she'd also love to get ecards and emails from people showing their love and support as well.
Again thank you.

Thanks guys. For those of you who don't read my live journal, my father was diagnosed with cancer July of 07. Chemo worked for a while but is no longer doing anything and the cancer has come back to the point where it's blocking off his small intestine and not allowing him to eat anything. I'm grateful for the extra year we've had with him and I hope and pray that he is able to go with little to no pain. For now we spend the time we can with him until it's his time to go. Again, I do thank you all for the support you give just by letting us know that we're in your thoughts.

Another update for you guys. The hospice nurse says that dad most likely has a few months left. We're doing the best we can to cope and to make his as comfortable as possible.

Thank you all for the support and love you've shown.
My father passed away yesterday afternoon and is now in a better place where he's not suffering. It's both a great loss because is now gone and a relief that he no longer has to go through it all.

My great-uncle passed away this morning. He'd been suffering from alzheimers for several years now, and was in a home the past year and half. It didn't come as a surprise, and in some way it was a relief, as we couldn't tell if his mind was still there inside his body, as he'd not been able to speak in at least year and had been beridden for about the same time. Personally, losing myself that way would be one of the worst ways to go, your past just vanishing and you unable to stop it. Hopefully now his memories have been returned to him.
