Alright, so... like Silvanon, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. In other words, I'm Mormon. And I've been preparing this past month or so to serve an 18-month, full-time mission for my church. Today, I recieved my Mission Call to the Concepcion, Chile South mission. Silvanon went to Buenos Aires, Argentina... I think. Anyhow. No worries. I'm going to the Missionary Training Center on December 17, where I'll stay for about two months, which means I'll be in Chile by February. Oh-- and I'll be without internet access or phone service except on rare occasions, so the only way anyone will be able to keep in touch with me is via postal mail. So... um... be excited! 'cause I am! I plan to have some kind of special prize for anyone who actually writes me, as well as some way Stormelle can help you guys mark the time. (Since I know you'll all miss me terribly.

I have a small idea that might help them pass the time but I'm not sure if it'll be possible...I'll talk to you in person about it though. ^.^ Hehe...
So, um, I'm way excited for my big sis. It's soooo cool. x3
Oh, and Lunasa, she's got the MTC address, me thinks, but as for other addresses...I'll probably have to update that every so often. ^^
And Pega covers that...Woot!

Ooh, Chile sounds like an interesting location, especially the southern part; I'd be so tempted to try and get to Antarctica sometime... *grins* Hope you enjoy your time down there!

Oh, lovely! I hope the mission gives you lots of time to go sightseeing. And I will send mail! Getting mail when you're far away from home, friends, and family is the best thing. <3

Lol--- Yeah, I'll just hitch a ride with a penguin down to Antarctica sometime.
Don't worry, Janalee, I'll take pictures.
Dawby-- I'll have one recreation day a week, and I'll be sent to lots of different areas of my mission, so I'm sure I'll see lots of beautiful things. There's even a National Park in my mission! It's Called the Laguna Laja National Park.
I'm way excited. Jana, did you want to be added to the list? ^^

*laughs* Would these be pictures of Antarctica, or of you riding a penguin? Because honestly, I can't decide which would be more exciting to see. XP Pictures of Chile would definitely be interesting to see as well. And if you'd like to get letters from me, I certainly wouldn't mind sending some. *smiles* I should warn you that my handwriting verges on the illegible though...if something looks like a 'Z,' you have to assume that it's actually a capital 'I.' ^^

It DOES sound exciting, doesn't it, Sunblind? It kinda reminds me of Lady Crow... wasn't she Chilean? I know she moved to Canada, but...
Oh, and Dawby--- no worries. She and I had a little chit-chat. XD And yes, it IS an older sister thing. hehe.

*hands Stormelle an oar* ^^ Actually, I always thought it was kind of fun having terrible handwriting; it's like having your own secret code that everyone else has difficulty deciphering. *smirks* I just thought it fair to warn about what I get the most complaints about.
