Your First Cyber Pet Ever...

I'm curious, and attempting to be social. ^^; Eh heh.

For me, it was a red swiftlet "won" at Sha-haven's last(?) festival, just before Jaysen decided to close up. I lost him, unfortunately, but I still remember the whole ordeal fairly well. ^_^; (Sorry if I scared anyone at the festival. o_x; What an odd newbie I was... ^^;)

Anyways, what was the first cyber pet you ever adopted? ^_^

Oh crap. I started adopting cyber pets about 6 years ago and it started with minidragons (I wish they were still around)

Ah, I can't remember when I came onto the scene, so to speak. T_T; It was quite a while ago, though. Do you remember Arborwin's Adoptions? ^^;

I remember hearing of minidragons, but I don't recall much about them. <_<;; Who made them?

This was mine. A click and take from a hunt. I think the first unique I got was from Myrror, but I can't be sure of that.

Silvanon -- Aw, cute. XD I like the coloring job; it almost looks like you can see the fur on him.

...Makes me want a gerbil. Or something small and furry, even though I've had bad experiences with fancy mice. ; ...Wouldn't...stop...breeding...! -wasn't too smart and had them all in the same cage for too long- ;

My lorriam was my second adoption, the silvery one named Ashurai. ^_^

Hm... I've never actually succeeded in adopting something from Myrror. -feels...bad...- ; Every time I received a critter, my internet always screwed up and saved them as a bitmap.. So...uh...all the critters I have from her are BMP's. <_<; I've yet to actually figure out a way to save them in the proper format, so I can get them paged. ;

You're the one with yahoo where they weren't saving correctly, right? I actually have a way to make it work. You have to right click and choose "Save Target as"

Nope, that wasn't me. XD; I remember that method; it works alright with me when I'm saving the pictures from links to their URL's, but I can't figure out any other permanent way of fixing the darn thing. <_<

A temporary fix I have is just cleaning out my cookies and temporary internet files. That usually works for a little while, heh. ^_^;

Kanai~ Try opening them in Paint and then choose "Save as" and set the type to .gif or .jpg

Oh! XD; Good idea. I was thinking of trying that, but...er, I was afraid I would maul the picture by saving it in a different format.

Whenever I make graphics in Adobe, I often botch up the whole thing by saving it in the wrong format. <_<; ...I guess...er, that really has nothing much to do with this, though. ^__^;

I'll try that whenever I get back home from tutoring math. See you guys. ^_^

My very first was a click and take griffin (Tygera) from Dee, wayyyyyy back when. Late 1998. ^.^; But I think my first 'real' adopteds were the Featherdragons. *chuckle*
