Soul Imps are six legged creatures of magic, after hatching a soul spirit from the "other side" attaches itself to the creature, keeping it warm and softly guiding it to adulthood.
The imps themselves are capable of learning and speaking our language, but they must be taught, and even then some individuals find it hard to grasp.

Eggs will hatch ten days after adoption.
Babies grow two weeks after hatching (and will gain their soul companion).
Teens will grow after some RPing <3

I hope you like them, I'm just sorry they're not uniquely drawn or traditional like the golden oldies.

Reason for adopting this egg: Because he is the colour of beaches and I just went to the beach today for Fish and Chips as my birthday lunch, omg. So delish. And also because I really like fantasy colours?! Also I will take the egg with me when I study, and it can sit beside me on a pillow while I read it history. OH MY GOD, I'LL TEACH IT HISTORY.

Reason for adopting this egg: Between the coloring and pattern, he makes me think of being inside a deep, cool cedar forest...and apparently that's what I look for in an egg? XP It's a nice place to be, in any case. *tries to escape the heat*

Reason for adopting this egg: Very hard to decided between that lovely blue and what one might consider a plain brown, but there is something to be said of natural earth colours, sometimes what might seem the most plain on the outside hold the most amazing thing inside, like a geode ^_^

I haven't adopted anything with stages in ages ~.^ And a new species to boot. Will have to get off my backside and make some new pages for my site! I simply love the soul concept.

And to celebrate, lets see if I can get my avatar icon fixed...
