You guys are fantaztic! That misspelling was NOT on purpose. ... but. .. whatever. Anyhow. ..Hey guys. .. Just letting you know I am still alive. My husband's car has had some trouble getting down here, so we've been delayed a bit. However, if possible I plan to respond to quite a few tonight. I actually have tried all three nights, but typing on my smart phone is just no fun. So hopefully I can. Moving is fun! Haha. ... Love your bribes, btw. My replies will probably be rather short. .. so be prepared!

No prob, I know it's tough when RL gets involved, usually why I don't check the Orchard every day *g* SunBlind wanders into the Orchard with her nearly complete Wing of NC and sends them out to play with the foals. The foals can't keep them though

When the foals seem to have grown weary after playing with SunBlind's impressive NC wing, Lilu sends Shrai in her place, as unofficial ambassador of the Cross-Realm C'banae.
The little stallion is anxious around this many people, especially such fortunate foals that he has been tasked with impressing. Who is he to impress anyone?
Still, Lilu had suggested that perhaps the foals might like to know about what it was like where he lived, since that was where one of the foals themselves might exist. "It's not pretty," he admitted. "At least not as pretty as Lliyani, where I come from. It's probably not as pretty as Pegorn, either, though I couldn't say, never having been there. What it is, though... it's -exciting-. It's a hard-won life, but perhaps not so hard-won as the one I had left... We live, my friends and I, in open fields. In the summer we migrate to the shore, where a steady breeze cools the land and sweet grasses grow in plenty, and in the winter we take shelter among the evergreens to the East. There are no aquariums or trips to Europe, wherever that is. Chocolate cake is hard-won, but perhaps all the sweeter for the victories that brought us the sugar. Life was easier on Lliyani, in ways, but I would never trade it back. Allow me, children, to tell you how it used to be for me..."
When Shrai is finished the first of his story, he shuffles awkwardly, offers the foals a smile. "It is markedly better," he admitted. "And I am not alone, as I have Fwist'Yaii and Yaki'lalasii. But we are always looking for more friends to share our troubles and bright times. For with friends, troubles are halved and bright times are two-fold." He shuffled his feet again. "If you like, I will tell you more of our story, including the storm and how I descended the cliff, tomorrow..."......... >_____> I COULDN'T NOT. I'M SORRY.

Today, Lilu sends Fwist'Yaii to entertain the foals.
He engages them in races and games - tag, relay races, hide-and-seek, and kick-the-can among other favorites. He plays and teases them as if he were only an older foal himself, and occasionally jokes with the less sensitive among them.
When he is finished tiring the rambunctious foals out, Shrai returns to the Orchard.
"You enjoyed playing with Fwist'Yaii, I hope," he says, still smaller than small. "He is a good friend with a good skill to have. Fwist' is the best we have at sneaking up on things, investigating problems in our territory that may be difficult to pass or might cause problems. He's even outrun quite a few predators in his time."
Fwist'Yaii interrupts with a modest chuckle. "I could have let them eat you," he says.
Shrai smiles awkwardly again. "But you'll hear much of Fwist's adventures later. Even if you don't join us, I am sure that word will travel. In the meantime, I believe I was supposed to tell you about the storm..."
Shrai again tells part of his story, losing himself to the words of the story he is telling. He gives over to every raindrop, every flash of lightning, losing himself so his audience may also, perhaps, lose themselves. And when he is finished, the mantle of the story drops from him like a clatter of stones.
"I know I said it was not as beautiful as my home, and probably not as lovely as yours, either. But it is a wondrous place. Deserts abut cloud forests, and islands have been seen floating in the sky. Whole seas seem to go on forever, and then just as suddenly become a manor pond. And the creatures, the people, the plants, they are all the likes of which you have not seen, for they are gathered there in this land of many portals, this land of nonsense geography, in search of the stories each has to tell. Without the story, we are lost, and perhaps this is why I find it beautiful, why I find it a home among all others."Edit: Silly Lilu forgets Orchard links are not auto-underlined. XD;

ddpej has fallen behind as she, too, is now in the process of moving. Nevertheless, she finds enough time to enjoy Shrai's story herself. When the foals are done clamoring for details and yawns abound after the long day of play, she pulls out all the stops and over the next hour or so sings them sweetly to sleep.

Please enter me in the raffle!Name: Janalee C'bana owned: 13 Pages/URLs not on parents list: Tardar: strangelydreamt.byethost9.com/pega/dasylirion.htmlPreference: 6, 3, 4, 1, 2, 5 *took an insanely long time to decide on only five names* XP ddpej (1) Laviee (1) Stormelle (1) [Happy birthday Stormie! ^_^ And get your C'banae paged!] Sunblind (1) Willow (1)And I'm more than a little late for the party, but... Janalee brings out a wide variety of (hopefully-not-too-fragile) instruments for the foals to experiment with once they wake up- chimes, drums, gongs, xylophones, and zithers now litter the orchard floor. Perhaps even more importantly, a huge pile of noise-cancelling ear muffs sits nearby for any unfortunate adults in the area, or foal wishing to continue their nap.

I hope I'm reading the post rules properly. Midnight is technically the start of the day? So it either ended this morning or you meant it will end tonight. Uh..... JUST IN CASE... XD; *FAILS AT TIME KNOWLEDGE, LOL* For their final day together, Lilu pulls out as many stops as she can find. She brings the c'bana foals fresh veggies and hummus (because OMG HUMMUS), fresh-made coconut custard pie, twice-baked potatoes, and - for Shrai, if no one else - home-made chocolate cake.
Yaki'lalasii is the first of Lilu's c'banae to come entertain the foals. She gives them paint and encourages the little monsters to paint each other, as well as giving them big rolls of paper to paint on that, also. She then paints for them pictures of whatever they like, and also of their families, so they won't forget each other.
Shrai comes by again and admires everyone's artwork. He quietly discusses with the foals their chosen subject matter for their paintings, praising brush (and paw!) strokes here and again as wise advances or bold statements.
When everyone is cleaned up from painting (the accidentally messy parts, anyway), Shrai speaks to them again. "This is my final part to share with all of you like this," he says. "I have told you how things were long before, and I have told you how things were when I arrived. Let me tell you of my first week on the prairie, and also of the strange and unsettling meeting I made there..."
Fwist'yaii sneaks in after the stories are finished and most of the questions are answered. He creeps low to the ground, racing up to spook the more adventurous foals one after another. When someone finally asks him what he's doing (as inevitably will happen in a situation like that), he answers - "I am one of Shrai's quick cats, and I'm here to EAT YOU! RAWR!" And starts good-naturedly playing tag with the foals until they are either exhausted or dog-pile on him in comeuppance.

^_^ We are quite glad as well, since the first part of the move was so stressful. It's much better now.
We moved to western Arizona. Not too far out of Vegas, actually.

In response to July 2, 2013:
Lilu's trip to the amusement park is thoroughly enjoyed. The funnel cakes are especially devoured, and Pega adds all their silly photos to her wall. Lilu recieves 4 tickets. ((Lilu's tickets: 18+4=22))
Ddpej's campfires, blankets, and smores are huddled round and in and gobbled up. The stories are enjoyed by all, though one or two of the foals hide in their blankets and cover their ears. Ddpej recieves 4 tickets. ((Ddpej's tickets: 15+4=19))
I think I'm gonna do these one at a time, so... bear with me. Or maybe I'll try one date at a time. We still have no internet at my house. My husband is researching internet right now.
Also, if any people who have already been given tickets (eg, Uny, Stormie, Country, etc) Would like to officially apply before I do the draw, go for it. You cannot bribe or give any tickets out, though.

In response to July 3:
Lilu's firefly jars are a huge success!! Lilu recieves 4 tickets. (BECAUSE PEGA WANTS THEM TOO) ((Lilu's tickets: 22+4=26))

Pega, you've got the wrong date for the fireworks. That was for the fourth, and ddpej (I think?) had a picnic for them that day, also. For the 3rd I posted this: Lilu bribes the foals with mason jars and fireflies and an open field with enough space for six foals to go chasing. Sorry to confuse. ;__; Also: Oh gah, Western Arizona, and you used to be in Kansas? When you are all settled in, I'm going to be picking your brain for reeessseeeaarrcch, as I can't afford to make that trip myself, but it's a pivotal trip for one of my stories. <3 Glad to hear your move is still going well, though. Super-exciting how many different states you've lived in at this point. X3

ddpej provides campfires and blankets and s'mores and spooky stories for afterward, when the foals are worn out by the day's adventures and the growing night is cool and dark. ? I did respond to this one. ?. Also, I did respond to the fireflies. Haven't done the fireworks yet. O.o *confus ed*

In response to July 4th:
Lilu's fireworks display is a huge success! The foals are entertained for the whole of the display, especially since none of them have ever seen the things before. A few are pretty frightened, though, resulting in Lilu recieving only 3 tickets. ((Lilu's tickets: 26+3=29))
Of course, not all the foals like the cherry flavored sweets. But most of them at least try a few. Willow recieves 3 tickets. ((Willow's tickets:11+3=14))
As we are all now aware, C'banae LOVE FOOD, so Ddpej's holiday fiesta is a success! All foals leave with happy bellies. Ddpej leaves with three more tickets. ((Ddpej's tickets:19+3=22))
Finally, the foals lay down! Exhausted, they enjoy their child drinks as Lilu's fireworks have their finale. Sun Blind enjoys the more tickets as well. Apparently, the foals are feeling a bit vague today. ((SB tickets:14+3=17))
