I'm so on the fence about entering this. I think they're -flipping cute-, but all of my adoption thingies get put into stories, and I'm not sure where I'd -fit- one of these.

I don't want to offend, but is it okay if I don't request more tickets for myself, but instead pass out the tickets to friends? And then if I -do- win one with impossibly low odds, it won't be the weird "oh, but she never signed...? :\ wut i do wif it?" moment for you?

I do have a plan laid out for if an unsigned ticket wins, but feel free to fill out the form and give tickets to others without requesting any yourself. There is no rule that you have to claim your up-to-two reserved ones!

As for not having a good place to fit them, perhaps consider having them as a breeding/research project as a hobby for someone scientifically/logically inclined? Derplings are very easy to care for and don't require much space or even much interaction. They breed easily, develop new traits and mutations at a fairly quick rate (relatively speaking), and have no negative effects specifically associated with inbreeding (which means you don't have to have a lot of them to poke around safely). Given that they do have a set (but unknown to you lot) genetic system, therefore, they would be an excellent choice for study or even just a fun interactive logic puzzle for someone who likes that kind of challenge.

And if you don't like that idea, well, so it goes. ^_^ I will take no offense, I assure you! If you do end up with one and you don't know what to do with it, I'm sure we can work out something.
