OK, I just have to ask. . .how do you do it? They are so beautiful (Now wants to dig up all her old ones and make them new again.) I am having a hard time not taking all of my daughters ponies and trying it myself.

I don't think I ever had those, but I do remember them (god I feel old) How about the ones that smelled like perfume? With the really crimmpy hair that couldn't be tamed? I think I still have one of those. The light blue one with pink hair. I will have to check at my parents house tomorrow to see if it is still there.

OK, I just have to ask. . .how do you do it? They are so beautiful (Now wants to dig up all her old ones and make them new again.) I am having a hard time not taking all of my daughters ponies and trying it myself. It's easy enough! ^.^ Several websites have tips on how to do it... Let's see what I can find... Lady Minty's Tutorial... Very well illustrated.. www.cloverflowers.com/custom/Tutorials.htmlSo far, Aikarin is my fav Customizer... she has tips too... www.aikarin.com/mlp/tips/tips.htmlMy suggestion... go and buy a $5 pony... and GO FOR IT! ^.^ I have one new one sitting here... I'm about to chop her head off... I just need to find some new hair either in town, or online... And not only can you customize them... but you can restore your old ponies to new! Here's a good site for that: home.satx.rr.com/lori4979/My%20Little%20Pony%20Cleaning%20and%20Restoring.htmlLMK how you do! ^.^ I hope I'll have one to showoff soon...

LOL
I think my boyfriend is gonna think I'm insane if I start customizing MLPS with any intensity... he acknowledges my obcession with tbe Breyers and other model horses... because I don't tease him about his Warmhammer 40K models. ^.^ So...
But MLPs... something from 20 years ago... might be stretching it. ~LOL~

I went to my mom's today and dug out a few of mine. Remember the ones that had a huge tuft of tinsel and the ornate jewel like thing on thier hip? I found one of those and a"Fluttery By" one. The ones that were kinda small and skinny with the fairy like wings that moved when you pushed the buttn. The wings are gone though.

I think I only had two - a secret surprise and a yellow sparkly (baby?) one.

I had several of them when I was a kid - loved them to bits. My favourite was Gingerbread (one of the twinkle-eyed ones). Unfortunately they got lost in the move from Singapore to Australia My sister's into collecting them, now. I collected them for a while, but decided one expensive hobby (the model horses) was more than enough. Nowadays I just pick up the occasional one that has sentimental value - like the other day I got a Gusty because she was my favourite when I was a kid - even before I knew there was a pony toy of her She's started customising, but apparently it's very hard to rehair them...

I may have missed this on one of the pages, but how do you "de-flock" a pony?
