Another question, once one does figure out how to flame, is it something one can control? Obviously you'll know what to look for and you'll know when your Nixphe is ready, but to get to that point, would it still be random?

Once you've figured out how to make a Nixphe flame, you can work towards those conditions, and predict exactly whether a Nixphe will flame or not on any give morph.  |

Is a Nixphe's ability to flame affected by the symbols/types of the other Nixphe in the flight?
Does this have anything to do with the fact that "Nixphe sort of have genders, but sort of don't"?
Another thing: are the other changes that can take place during morphing, such as symbols and colors, affected by the other Nixphe in the flight, or are they completely random?

Do the symbols of all four Nixphes in a flight matter, or just two?
Has anyone actually figured out the secret recipe yet? Or were those flames just luck so far? ^_^

I thought I had it after my Nixphe flamed twice, but then I've been trying since and... nothing :\ I guess it was just luck! If it helps, though, I haven't changed Niende or Ayende since Cyndane flamed.

All the Nixphe in a flight matter. And, Yes, having one symbol is normal.

I noticed that there's no Flame image for the Second generation Nixphe... does that mean they're not able to?

Say you're in a flight where only one of the Nixphe ever morphs (maybe the other players have given up or something). Is it possible for one Nixphe to morph in such a way that it could flame, or is it more likely that it could never flame because of the status of the others in the Flight create a condition that prevents it?
Hmm, and does the order of the symbols (within one or across all four) matter even if the order of the Nixphe don't?

Order of the symbols doesn't matter.
As far as your first question, it really depends on what state the other three Nixphe are left in. In some cases it would be possible for the lone active Nixphe still to flame, and in others it would be totally impossible.
