*waves to Lex and Thele* Hiya you two! How's it going? Oh Lex, give me a minute, I'll scan your two headshots for you.... Lumi~They're doing well. Everybody's still alive, they all seem healthy & happy. I bought three more tiny little baby dannios yesterday. This morning when I came out to look at the tank, there were only two. I looked and looked, and finally found the third one--he'd gotten sucked up into the filter! I was surprised to see him still alive and swimming around in there like nothing was wrong. I quickly unplugged the filter and dumped all the water back into the tank to get him out. A few minutes later I noticed one of our ghost shrimp that I hadn't been able to find since a few days ago. I hadn't worried too much about him since ghost shrimp are clear and sometimes hard to spot. I'd figured that I just couldn't see where he was at. Well, know I know where he was at--inside the filter too!  I stuck a bunch of stuff around the filter intake to discourage everyone from getting close to it. |

Its fine, went shopping today for my Halloween costumes, bought some really cool monster-hands and didnt realize they didnt match until I got home XD Oh well.

Fine. *smiles* For a graduation present I bought myself a new computer and software to go along with it. Good thing for student discounts! So I've been playing around with it, inbetween the DayQuil.

^__^ Thats great. *bounces* Glad to hear they're doing well.
Oh yes filters are dangerous, specially for the small ones. They get too close and it'll suck them right up into it. depending on the filter the fish will be okay though. *nods* Good idea to put stuff around it, sometimes a piece of cheese cloth or nylon hose works good too, but they have to be cleaned because they filter out the bigger bits.
heh how many fish do you have now? ^^

Oh, that's too bad about the monster hands. Hum...well, I suppost what's more monsterish than mismatched hands, eh?
Thele~ Ooo *new computer envy* Someday I'll be like you & buy a new computer. Dayquil? Not feeling well?
Lumi~ Um, currently 27, unless you don't count the shrimp, and then it's 25. In five seperate tanks of varying sizes, so they're not too crowded.

well the hands are greenish, the werewolf mask is brown, but i'm sure if i put some fur on the hands that it'll look all right. just have to make sure i stay in the dark XD

Yeah, I've got a cold. It's likely a combo of after-graduationess and the rainy weather. ^^;
