Awesome, thanks I'm going to be traveling in the next week, but once I'm back I'll jump in around here more.

Ahhhh! So many... congrats on the milestone um. also, I really want to dive back into this, but I'm not sure how behind I am-- I might have Crystals still unpaged that I should go dig up and get up? Sorry, I'm kind of out of the loop to a huge degree; it's been a stressful past few months culminating in losing my best friend, my 18 year old kitty, on Tuesday night, and my mind is kind of scattered right now. But yay Crystals! Yay trying to drag myself back into this community!

What a lovely job! I just wanted to pop in and say that I'm sorry I haven't been around for these or checked in; life is a little busy but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things with Crystals asap! If there's anything super important I need to check/do/etc, please let me know.

Glad to know I wasn't just crazy/overreacting with my "whaaaaat?" reaction to that!
I actually did forward the email to Adlana, and got a response--
"Hey, thanks for forwarding this to me. The Nameless Forest isn't active in the sense that I haven't updated it in a long time, but I do still pay for the domain every month and I still use the same e-mail, so I do still have some concern with what happens to my Nameless Forest stuff. Your Felcan is yours forever as far as I'm concerned, and it will never be given away to someone else. I'll send a message to this person telling them so. Thanks! ^_^"
Yay; hopefully that's one less person who will be as inclined to "claim" other people's stuff.

So, I haven't been around much. I'm not super active, BUT that doesn't mean I don't value the adoptables I have. So I was really quite offended when I received the following email: "About 6 years ago you adopted a Felcan from this website : www.namelessforest.com The website is not active anymore and neither (I think) is the website you posted the Felcan on :/dragongoddess.tripod.com/wild34.html I would really like to own a Felcan and was wondering if you give me yours because you don't seem to be using the website anymore. I promise to give it a good virtual home and give you credit if you want. If you don't reply in two weeks, I'll consider your website inactive and your Felcan free for the taking. Thanks in advance! Sincerely, Thea" Is this common practice now? Am I missing something? My answer is going to be a very obvious NO, but I wanted to also make sure that Adlana/Nameless Forest isn't going through some abandoning procedure or something. This struck me as being totally out of the blue.

Dawby, does it count if it's me lurking? ...outside your window? With a pony?

I haven't been around in about a billion years... apologies for that!
I'll try to dig those up for you, though.

"WHEEE!" Rashwe lauches himself as well.
"ACK!" Anura attempts to dodge, throwing up a pair of hands in front to her face. Her dodge doesn't work so well, though, and she gets knocked to the ground by someone, or someones, it's hard to tell with all the bodies flying around.
Alasdair immediately ducks to the ground in an attempt to avoid the 'attack', though he isn't fully successful, and having Anura suddenly crash into him from the side doesn't precisely help...

Rashwe giggles. "Kay, but we gotta be quiet, so they don't notice us right away..."
He sneaks off in the direction of the other three, keeping low to the ground and trying not to hit any branches along the way. And, also trying not to start laughing too hard.
Once they're across the stream from the other three, he stops, nodding to Kirik, eyes gleaming.

Rashwe laughs, jumping away again. At Kirik's question, he stops, eyes widening. "I did! Though... they're back that way." A slightly evil glint enters his eyes. "We could always ambush them." He breaks out into a wide grin.

Rashwe is too distracted by Kirik to pay attention to the other two. He ducks, though he doesn't completely miss Kirik's pounce, and gets knocked a bit. "Ee!" He quickly leaps to the side, away a bit, before springing back at Kirik, giggling slightly maniacally.

Rashwe either chooses to ignore Jaki's look, or just doesn't see it, paying attention to Kirik. "Surely!" he replies, a touch of mischevious excitement in his voice.
Anura snorts. "Ah. Well, it was worth a try..." she grins back. "No, I haven't tried to gnaw on any of the visitors--"
"Though that would be a fun thing to try," Alasdair interrupts.
"Indeed." Anura nods. "But no... if the traveller rubs off as being too disrespecful of the realm, I'm just cold towards them." She shrugs. "But then again, that might have the same effect, as they usually stumble across me, and are quite convinced that I'll immediately choke them..."
At Anura's cake comment, Alasdair chuckles. "Why does that not surprise me?" he remarks. "I've yet to meet all of Eilam and Mairin's sons and daughters... but I don't doubt that they all have a special love for sweet things." Alasdair smiles slightly at the comment about his limbs. "Many do seem to find them rather strange, but they definitely come in quite handy at times." Anura nods her agreement.

Anura rolls her eyes. "Playful, indeed. Care to take him home with you? At least once a week, I end up with a visitor wandering into my domain, completely terrified and convinced that they're about to be eaten."
Alasdair blinks and nods. "Aye, I know her, and I know her mate quite well indeed." He grins. "I've met no other Kiezo that can eat a cake that fast."
Meanwhile, Rashwe nods as the green flit introduces himself and the others. "Pleasure to meet you," he says, grinning. "Tumbling, eh? Can't say I do much of that at home... my nearest Kiezo neighbor is a bit too serious for anything like that." He grins slyly. "Might get along with that one," he says quietly, nodding at Jaki.
