I got this email: Hello, I really like your site!! You can check mine out if you want. It's www.geocities.com/mysticaleggs/. Sorry, but I used a lot of your pictures. I hope that's okay. Sorry if I wasted your time!!! sincerely, AnnieI wrote to her, but perhaps you want to confront her yourselves too? I don't think she was being malicious about it, she just didn't know. Probably she wasn't using IE, which is why my left-click blocker didn't stop her....anyone know of any good anti-theft tricks for Firefox?

The left-click blocker works on Firefox too.
BUT. Those things only work against someone who is not determined not to get the image. (I know this from legitimate purposes - there was a clickblocker on a site on which one of my adopted critters was hosted and I'd lost the link the creator emailed me. Theoretically, I was screwed, as I had to go find it again myself - but it's easy to get past the block. Just view the source.)
I would agree she probably wasn't being malicious, though if you have to get past a clickblocker app like that you should probably get the drift of "maybe I shouldn't be touching these."

My left click code doesn't work on Firefox...the one I've been using has been around for a while now, since before Firefox was popular. Could you show me what code does work?
And I agree, there's always ways around it, but it will block the stupid (which most image stealers are) and will deter those that didn't actually mean to do harm. For example my pop up message says to follow the link to adopt their own and not to take the images without permission. If someone didn't know before, they would then.
I've found a few ways even around the left-clicker, like put the image in a table, make it the background of a cell, and place an invisible image on top of it. Unless you're paying attention, when you save an image, you'll get the invisible one. Also, to get around the view source, with the left-clicker enabled you can have a pop-up window without menus...but that's not reasonable for normal page viewing. Course frames help confuse which source to read.
Anyway, I must admit I feel a little embarassed to be the source of the theft *g*

I will be reporting this to Foxxfyre of Sionayra as well, as her Serians are stolen on the second page. I realize this is probably an innocent error made by the site owner, but Foxx still need to know.

Hmm..The last page I belevie has some of Unyko's art. The two little horse-ish chibi type things. The little blue one up in the top right corner and the one in the bottom right corner.

Art theft can be easily prevented with the use of $40 and a large hammer. kiddingkiddingkidding Speaking of art theft, anyone know the original source for the stolen images on this DevArt? anime-jasmine.deviantart.com/gallery/Again, no malicious intent, but she's such a ditz that it still drives me up the wall. TWELVE YEAR OLDS HATE ME.

At least she emailed you about it. Maybe she'll take them down then.

All of the dog-like things to start that "my pets" page off are Azrani's... err... I think that was her name. *facepalm* It's been quitequite awhile.

Hmm, nope, those canine-creatures aren't mine, though I did have something similar years ago. Maybe that's what you're thinking of, Cynther.
I /do/ recognize them too, though, but I can't recall who did them...

I think the drawn chibi like horses are Pega's not Unyko's. There's also many from the Unicorn Friendship Center. And a Dee Dreslough dragon that's not being used correctly even though it is free domain.

I think Azrielen drew the majority of the creatures in the first "Pets for Adoption" page, but I'm almost certain she's not around anymore. >.> *goes back to lurking*

They're Uny's, not mine.
*giggle* She was always better at chibified horses than me. and I've never drawn Akailei.
Silly children. *tut*

Yup, I already notified Foxx by email since she doesn't frequent here. I also knew AZ created those on the first page, but she hasn't been around for ages. There's also a Cylirah from Elae, someone else I haven't heard from in years. Most of the others were click-and-takes of some sorts, so figured they weren't worth reporting unless she started causing problems.
Haven't had a reply yet, but I'll give her some more time.
