I've been debating on this for a while. I admit that I'm a lazy arse. HOWEVER. There is more reasoning behind this. >3 For starters, it takes FOR-EV-AH for me to color the SWs on the compy. I love to perfect them. I love doing them. I just love making them absolutely PERFECT. However, there's a problem to that. It takes me two and a half hours to complete ONE WULF. ._. I cannot do that, otherwise, I'd never get past fifty. I've thought about just making them simpler. However, they just don't look -good- without the shading, highlights, complex markings, etc. At least, to me they don't. I look at the wulves with no shading and think "ZOMG EEEEWWW" and stab myself in the freaking eye. o.- Omgz. Eye suicide is bad for teh DW. D: So, you may ask "well, how they heck is coloring the wulves with pencils gonna save you any time?" Well, they just -do-. I don't have to mess around with layers, levels, and hue/saturation. I just grab some pencils and lay down the color. Also, I've been wanting to work on my colored pencil technique for quite a while. This is a perfect opportunity for me to shape up on my colored pencil skills. Here is my most recent example of a stormwulf: i7.photobucket.com/albums/y300/DarkWillow89/Cyberpets/Stormwulves/StormwulfTsunamiM0001.gifA tsunami wulf done in Roseart pencils. I have prismas, but this was an experiment, and I'm such an anti-waste freak. D: So, what do you think? If you can, please reply with your opinion in addition to voting. Thanks~! - Teh DW (ish teh pwnage)

I say do whatever is easiest...you make both computor and pencil look good with them...just do what you like to do best and what wont hurt your life as much ^_^

I agree, do whatever is the easiest and most beneficial to you. Colored pencil would be a good way to improve your skills. I haven't seen the CP ones, so I can't form a personal preference. But really, do what's best for you.

This is all stuff you can learn how to do with colored pencils. It just takes lots of practice, and you have to get used to the fact that there's no 'undo' button.
How you want to advance artistically is up to you, so if you're looking to practice your hand-coloring skills this would be one of the ways to go about it.

Wow, I am totally for the colored pencil ones. They look amazing! Like Sky said, it just takes practice. I'm sure that after doing a batch or two of penciled ones, you'll try shading and get the hang of it really fast. I personally like the pencil ones better ;D but maybe thats just me

awesome. x3 i think it's actually an improvement from computer-colored ones, even though it takes a lot longer.

I really don't care what you do - both computer and c/p is awesome.
Now the question is... Are da babehs gonna grow up to be colored pencil or computer colored?
