Anyone else parked on their butts watching the Olympics?
*waves "go Phelps!" flag*
I haven't been here in like, months. How's everyone been?

...and the Olympics website up continually as well? *crooked grin* What can I say, the swimming events have been rather entertaining. *brings out welcome-back muffins* And I doubt I count as everyone, but I'm doing all right. ^^ How about you?

New almost everything in life, which is so far keeping me happy. I haven't caught ANY of the Olympics this year though. The irony is that I actually have cable and clear television reception for the first time ever.

WHOO GO, GO, GO MICHAEL! *flips out* I even got my mom to watch it with me XD
*eats muffins* <3
I'm okay. Horribly uncreative. I'm going to try, try, try to do some drawing of something. I'd love to try to draw some Crystal Unicorns, but my life is so stressed right now, not to mention I'm having issues with my meds, so I haven't drawn even a stick-figure in MONTHS.
But, enough of my whining.
Dawby: Well you gotta catch at least one event! Watch Phelps! ^_^

*grins at the thought of stick-figure Crystals* Though, oy, if I were working 15 hours days, I doubt I'd have the energy for even that either. And Olympics watching might be exciting enough as it is... ^^ I hope things start getting less hectic for you soon though!
And yeah, I usually don't watch sporting events on television either; I guess I'm just in the mood for it right now, for some strange reason. ^^

You've gotten me to pull my head out of my work and turn on the tv. I have the Olympics on now thanks to you, Lex!

I even have my mom watching the Olympics in her spare time (though her comment was "those China guys are HOTT!" lol) which is really saying something.
Oy. The hospital I work at is switching from paper patient charts to all charts and paperwork on the computer, so some company came to make a short documentary thing on our progress and I got volunteered to be in the dumb thing! Thankfully I didn't have to talk (just sit and do my work like a doofus.) I barely got out of there in time to zip up to my other job!
Okay, I need to pass out. Sorry I can't stay longer--or at all! Tomorrow I hope! <3

*waves* Heya! Haven't heard from you in weeks!
The olympics was a bit depressing for a while, with Canada not winning a thing. So I was pretty much on the Phelps bandwagon too XD At first it seemed too egotistical to think he'd win so many golds, but then I heard about how hard he trained and I feel he deserves them.
But Canada got three medal today! Woot. Who knew Canadians had great female wrestlers ^.^ I've got my fingers crossed for show jumping, we're tied for second right now, that would be totally cool, even if it were a bronze. We haven't gotten a medal in that sport in ages.
Eeeee, Lex on TV! *giggles*

The wife of my friend's boss is competing in dressage for Canada, Sunblind. Speaking of Phelps, I enjoyed the little thing they had on him the other night which was basically like, Because Michael Phelps is so weirdly shaped, he makes the best swimmer you could conceive!

That's so cool! Of course they never put dressage on TV Would have loved to have watched. That's what everyone was saying about Ian Thorpe's feet. XD They were so huge it was like having built in flippers. Phelps apparently has big feet too. And I see he got his 8th gold. Apparently Thorpe had told him it was impossible, which made Phelps all the more determined to do it. And did you see that Jamaican guy run the 100? Wow, wonder what time he would have had if he didn't slow down to sightsee towards the end, heh.

*sneaks back in* >.>; I miss the Olympics They were fun to watch! Oh well. Its only for years, haha. I wish I had been able to watch a larger variety though, like the horses and stuff. Some stuff, like basketball and volleyball, I could have lived without. And I didnt catch ONE soccer match! Ugh.
