Hokey. DarkWillow SERIOUSLY needs a new scanner. I currently have a pile of crap called a Lexmark 3 in 1 that is all foggy where I can't clean it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a scanner? I need it to not fog up and to scan color very well.

I find that nearly any scanner sold these days is more than adequate. I currently use a Hewlitt Packard combination scanner-copier-printer and it does a nice job. It was about $200 at Target here in Jersey, but if you only need the scanner, you can probably get a cheaper one.

Wow... that's awesome. My printer/copier/scanner doesn't even print. I'll look at that. =)

Brother is also a good company to look into. I have a printer-copier-scanner-faxer, which I think we bought for about $150-$200. It prints fairly good quality and is very good about saving space. It's not much bigger than a plain old printer actually. ^_^
Good luck shopping. :D#nosmileys

I have the same as Dawby too! n.n But I usually use a scanjet 3570c from HP
I must warn you though, HP has problems with their drivers >.> It may or not be an issue for you but don't be surprised if something comes up.

We have a Brother fax machine at work; it works well, so I agree they seem to make good quality products.

Just careful when installing the disk XD;; I was an idiot about it and it took three days to get it done right n_n;;

Epson Stylus? Is that also an artpad, or just a scanner?
I like Best Buy... I used to work there. The employee discounts are phenomenal.

Best Buy = <3
Epson Stylus is a 3 in 1, copier, scanner, printer with an amazing feature that lets you take your digi-cam's chip and stick it in there for automatic picture printing XD

I would recommend HP or Brother, two Very good brands. I would also never recommend a Lexmark anything, ever.

Best Buy = <3 Epson Stylus is a 3 in 1, copier, scanner, printer with an amazing feature that lets you take your digi-cam's chip and stick it in there for automatic picture printing XD Is it compatible with Windows XP Pro? XD; I have a scanner that is an ANCIENT epson. As in, we had it when we still used 95. XD; We had to go through this maddening loop of riggormorale to get it to adapt properly to the XP system. >_> And since then, my dad has taken it over as /his/. So, no scanner for t3h lilu. On the bright side, the darn thing took forever to scan a a full-page pic, so no big loss. XD; And it was ridiculously noisy. Ah, ancient technology. XD Meanwhile, Brother just ROCKS in general. Before we had a computer, we had a Brother word processor. Darn thing was like a glorified typewriter with a monitor. OMG. I wrote so much crap on that thing it's not even funny. XD; Then again, that was back when I was in like, fourth grade. It has since kicked the bucket. I miss it. It had the best key feel I've ever had on a keyboard, and it sounded beautiful when it printed. (Rather like a typewriter for those who're curious. XD)
